“What did you say? I definitely did not hear well.” Jaxton uttered with obvious confusion in his voice.

Sydney kept quiet for a while. She tried her best to keep calm.

Jaxton alsowas trying his best not to break down right infront of her. He did not want to look weak and on the other hand cause a scene.

He pushed his seat closer to the table and it made noise due to the starches it made with the tiled floor and help her hands.

Second by second and it soon became two minutes standing in silence with her. Jaxton became impatient.

Eventually Jaxton lashed out,”Babe, did I do or say something wrong?”

This time it was louder and it got the attention of the public present at the Goldies restaurant. When Jaxton noticed what he had done he immediately apologized “I’m sorry,go on with your meal” and sat down ashamed.

Sydney already began to feel embarrassed and covered her face with her purse while looking at an entirely different place.

“I think we should leave and talk outside.”
