Beads of sweat started to form on her forehead and tension kicked in, putting her into a tight corner.

Her limbs started to quiver, not wanting him to notice she ruffled out a smile and chuckled.

Paxton's brows creased and he tapped her desk, snapping her out of whatever thoughts she was having. "I asked you a question" his voice was livid and it brushed past her like hot lava.

"I uhm.." she cleared her throat. "He came to pick me up" his brows creased and she added, "of-course I didn't ask him to, he just appeared from nowhere and I couldn't turn down the offer.

"You shouldn't have anything to do with my brother, engaging yourself with him is like playing with fire you either get burnt or roasted." He purred, barring his teeths as he recounted the previous scene.

Sydney nodded with intent, not wanting to say or do anything that would make him think she did something with Jaxton.

"Halt any intention of getting close to Jaxton, the minute I find out something is up with yo
