ESTEFAN'S POV

The day has been so busy as Esteban and I had to go represent Dad in a Parliament meeting with all the state officials. Attending meetings like that was something I wouldn't do on a normal day but Esteban begged to go with him because he didn't want to be alone with those old men.

Sometimes, I wondered how he was going to cope when he becomes the King when he couldn't even attend a single meeting without me. He was also too carefree, soft-hearted, and trusted people easily. I knew those power-hungry officials would try to use his gentleness against him and push him around when he took over the throne, but I made a promise to myself to protect him and his throne.

"Is Rhea still not talking to you?" Esteban asked as we got into his car to leave for the palace.
