LEAH'S POV

"How long do you plan to keep this up?" my dad asked over breakfast.

"As long as I can," I replied as I sipped my coffee.

Since my parent arrived from Spain they have been trying to convince me to call Rhea and talk to her. It made me sick that they cared about how she was feeling and all, but they didn't even bother to ask me how I was coping with the situation. All the hard work I went through to get to the top of my career was slowly turning to dust, but all they care about was their little innocent daughter.

"Leah, just call your sister once and talk to her. She misses you," my mom said in a pleading tone.

There it was again, only thinking about Rhea.

"Mum, please. I don't have the energy to talk about Rhea this early morning."

"We won't be talking about her if you would just let go of whatever happened and call her," dad raised his voice at me. "I don't understand why you are this mad about her marrying Estefan. You don't even love him, all you wanted was to become
