Clara's POV

My legs are just shakes terribly. I quickly ran down the stairs.

I have to hurry. No one can see me entering Lucas's office.

Yes, I'm here now at the company. I have to come here to do these things. I had to do this so Lucas wouldn't get ahead of me.

I know that by now Lucas is also planning. I know anger runs through his veins. We don't have time to talk anymore.

I want to free him even if it hurts. I broke up with him. I went home to the mansion. I did that to know if he still has love for me.

But nothing. His heart no longer beats for me. He no longer feels love. That's what I'm looking for in a husband.

He broke my heart after all. I never thought Lucas could do that to me. He is ruthless to hurt his wife like me. He is so numb.

I love him with all my heart. I gave everything. I did everything as his wife. I have nothing he left myself empty.
