Laura is awake

Anna and Stephen made their way into the hospital, each lost in their thoughts. Anna was worried about Laura's condition and the events that had led up to it. Stephen, on the other hand, was deep in thought about their upcoming trip to Iceland.

As they approached Laura's room, Anna's heart was pounding with anticipation. They walked into the room and saw Laura propped up on pillows, a small smile on her face.

"Laura!" Anna exclaimed, rushing over to her friend's side. "How are you feeling?" she asked excitedly. She was glad to know that her best friend was conscious, the doctor had informed them over the phone but she wanted to see with her eyes.

"I'm feeling better, thank you," Laura replied, her voice still weak. "The doctors say I should be able to leave in a few days."

Anna smiled, relieved to hear that her friend was recovering. "That's great news," she said, taking Laura's hand. “I have missed you a lot,” she added.
