She was supposed to let me be hearing how harsh I must have sounded. But she didn't.

“It's okay, I understand your fear, people in Moonlight pack aren't like that” She said seeming to know why I really didn't want to take a tour.

I sighed. It looked like she was winning and whatever I do, she will not leave me alone. I succumbed to her requests.

“What fun would be in going shopping for groceries in the market?” I asked with a side eye.

“Hmmm. It's not really a market, just like a large store, many things to feed your eye with” she explained.

I thought about it again, it would be nice to check the whole place in, then I'd be able to learn how things work here, I would be able to know things that could make everything here easier for me. Things that would help me plan out my mission easily. That's surely a cool idea.

“Okay then, let's go” I muttered and could see the smile on her face.

One could think she won a lottery, she seems cheerful just like Fiona had always been but she's just too young. I chuckled silently at my own thoughts.

We got to the market by walk as it wasn't far from her mansion. The market was a local one, I watched as everyone made their movements. They were all smiling and chatting like there was no other side to this world. But there is! The sad and devastating side. A side when all these smiles would turn into tears. It made me remember the time when I used to be an assassin. The merciless assassin who would spare no one. The ruthless assassin who had always turned deaf ears to their pleading as they shed those deceitful tears.

“Here! Muffins” Haelyn said to me bringing me out of my fantasy as I turned to look at her. I couldn't even notice when she had gone to get the muffins but all I knew was when she had called me and handed some to me.

I stared at the muffins for a while before accepting it from her, it reminded me of Fiona. The muffins she always made for me. The last one I had eaten, the time I had got rejected by the Alpha. It made my heart sink.

I took a bite out of the muffins she had handed over to me. It taste great but not as great as the one I had always eaten with Fiona. I miss her. I couldn't deny that. “Has she had breakfast today, what about lunch?” I thought, wondering about those things whenever I do have time to think. We only had each other but now that we were apart, I could only care for myself here but the thought of Fiona going through hard times alone made me feel pain in my heart.

Going into the market as Haelyn picked some of the things she needed, my eyes were roaming everything in the market. It was such a lively kingdom but it doesn't deserve the ruler they had. Alpha Zane was not the right man to be the Alpha of this pack. Not a cunning man like him. The thought of Alpha Zane triggered my memory again. I had to act fast and get things done the way Alpha Kane had wanted it before he changes things again. I dread that, changing promises like he had always done.

My eyes caught a glimpse of sisters in the market as I stated around. They were checking out body accessories as they picked out hairpins for themselves checking it if suits them, all smiling.

It reminded me of a family with three sisters I once knew, those three loving sisters who would always so this almost everytime when they had the time. Those lovely sister were me! Fiona and Gina.

I recalled when Gina would find ways to persuade the test of us to go shopping with her. We would pick out pins just like they are doing and Gina would put it on funnily on the both of us telling us to check the mirror. And if we did, we wouldn't help but frown although our appearance was strong enough to earn laughters from tons of people.

She would have used the hairpins to clip our hairs in a very funny way. I smiled recalling that memory again. Here in this pack, sweet and strong memories of the bond with my sisters were coming to me but the memory about this place I wouldn't be able to lose is; my crippled leg which Alpha Zane had made that way and Gina who I'm yet to find out the truth about her death.

But one thing is certain, I wouldn't stop until I get everything I need to know about what really happened to my sister. To do that, I have to be with Alpha Zane.

I checked the ladies again and I could bet that I was envious of them. I was never envious of anything or anybody when I had my sisters with me but right now, I had none. They were not with me. One was gone, and I knew I would never get to see her again and there was another trapped and cornered for plotting against the king. I wondered what state Fiona would be in at the moment. I wondered if she got to eat any muffins, I bet she didn't. Alpha Kane wasn't kind enough to give snacks to people he called prisoners.

I brought out a hairpin from the pocket of my jacket, the hairpin looks old but it was my most cherished treasure after Fiona.

The first hairpin Gina had ever bought me. I stared at it for a while thinking about the memories lurking behind it. I didn't know but I knew my eyes blurred with water clouding it. Before I could think of making it vanish, a tear fell off my eyes. “I Miss You Gina” I muttered and sniffled. “I Miss You, Fiona” I muttered again.

I miss them, and I really do mean it!!

Coming back to this pack to see Fiona in cold blood like he had said. I wouldn't allow that. “Take them away” Alpha Kane commanded, his voice husky and commanding. I stared as all the poor citizens were dragged away by guards with their face filled with terror. They were afraid as much as I am at the moment. As much as Fiona would be at the moment. How could a King do this to his own people, how? I wondered. It wasn't right. An Alpha is supposed to take care of his people, he's supposed to show love, and unite his pack members together but here Alpha Kane is doing none of it. The smug smile which looked like an award he had acquired didn't leave his face as he kept his gaze on me, back to Fiona then back to his people who were being dragged away. Hell am I saying! Not his people, I'm sure those people weren't seeing him as they
