Chapter 167: Ceremony

Alone once again, I ran around the castle. The fact that I was wearing a long skirt didn't help with that, but my legs shot through the splits as fast as they could. In my hand, I had a knife.

There was nobody around here. Not even guards. It was dead, and my army boots crushed the gravel under me with a lot of noise.

When I reached the end of the castle, I halted before running around the corner. Slowly, I peeked around the building and scanned the demons watching the stage on the other side. I was all the way in the back. This was the very end of the crowd.

"Welcome back, ladies! We begin!" Yroul loudly announced.

I looked over at the stage, to where the women were lining up. The Kings sat in their thrones. I was too far away to see what expression Adrian had on his face. I could guess. Not happy.

There were a few buildings here. Multiple stables, sheds, storage buildings, a few houses for the staff who preferred their own space over the castle and more empty, unused buildings.
