Chapter 61: Yours?

With a speed that surprised me, given the size of the ship, we sailed forward alongside the other ships. As one, we sailed out. Some ships on the side held back, letting the ships with the kings on it lead the way. Ours suddenly shot forward a bit, overtaking all the others and we were the first ones to sail out the secluded, safe bay.

Once we left the shelter of the surrounding mountains, the wind grew significantly stronger and colder. The ship swayed slightly on the waves and I walked forwards, all the way to the front of the ship. Placing my hands on the ledge, I looked down at the wild water crashing into the wood of the ship.

"Fay." Sam called me from a few metres behind me.

I turned to find Sam extending a sword toward me. I took a moment to scan the tattoos on his arms and looked into his eyes, which still looked fierce as hell with the black paint. "Show me what you learned in the carriage." Sam said as he took one step towards me.
