"Why did you come home with me, if you know me so well?" He snapped, his anger evident in the widening of his nostrils. "Well, you were right about one thing. I actually could use a good fuck. I thought, why not you? At least I won't develop any feelings for you." I sweetly retorted.

He took another step towards me.

"You're not at all like all the other women I've had before. But you are the same type of slut. Eager." He sneered ugly.

I was so unimpressed by this guy, it almost made me laugh.

"If you're trying to offend me, you really have to try harder." I said, my fingers touching his dick through his pants. "Try as hard as your cock is right now."

The impact of the wall behind me was not as hard as I expected. His lips smashed onto mine and his body pushed me against the wall with aggression. His hand grabbed the fabric of my dress, and he slid it up my body clumsily. He groaned when his fingers touched my underwear. I kissed him back with passion and cupped his cheek almost lovingly. "I want you right here. Then I want you on top of my bar." He whispered against my lips and I mentally rolled my eyes.

There was no way this guy could go for a second round.

"Yes." I moaned, partially faking the pleasure I felt from his touch. It seemed no one had properly guided him before, but he was rich, so he could get away with it. My hand moved down from his cheek as I expertly unbuttoned his shirt. His lips stayed on my skin, kissing my neck as he moaned himself. He pressed his body into mine, and I felt the hardness of his erection. It prodded against me, and as a generous offer, I quickly unzipped his pants. My hand glided over his boxer shorts, and he hissed against my skin.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!"

The guy jumped away from me when a loud, angry snarl interrupted us. My hands instinctively pulled down my dress and I stared at the intruder in pure shock.

What in the actual hell?

"I TOLD YOU to let NOBODY touch you!" Satan screamed at me.

For a moment, I was too shocked to respond. Elle had told me he couldn't come to the human realm. That was one of the reasons why I enjoyed teasing him whenever I visited the demon realm.

"Oh right," I snapped, "fucking SATAN, who does not even live in this UNIVERSE, told me to not kiss other boys. What the fuck?!" I yelled back at the demon, who looked ready to murder someone.

"What the fuck is going on?! Who are you?!" The guy screamed at Samael angrily, his pants still unzipped and his shirt unbuttoned.

"Shut up!" we both yelled at him, before locking eyes again with rage.

"You were going to sleep with him?!" Samael screamed in anger, his eyes turning fully black and his entire body tense. His hands were already clenched into fists. "Dude, is this your girlfriend or something?" the guy asked, suddenly eyeing me as if I were the crazy one here. Always ganging up against the woman. Unbelievable.

"You." Samael snapped at the guy, who flinched. "Do you have any idea who I am? I am your worst fucking nightmare. I can see what your worst fears are made off, and I can make them reality." Samael slowly walked towards him, baring his teeth. "I can burn the skin of your body, I can make maggots crawl into your mouth and eat you from the inside out, I can kill all the people you love right in front of you. Torture is my speciality. It's something that I fucking love to do. You have made a VERY big mistake in inviting her over. You FUCKING dared to touch her, you pathetic human. It's the last thing you did." Samael was inches from his face, and the guy looked absolutely terrified.

I stood against the wall, knowing that I was the only one I could stop this.

When I saw wetness on the guy's pants, I knew he had peed himself. He was so scared, he hadn't even realised it. He still looked at Samael with fearful eyes. "Please." The guy whispered, his hands coming together in a pleading manner. "Take everything. I didn't know she was taken, I just wanted to fuck someone. She fit the bill."

Samael roared, and I lunged forward to stop him, but I was too late.

Samael grabbed the guy by the throat, slammed him against the wall so hard that the entire apartment shook, and cracked his skull with a loud, sickening crunch.

Sam roared at the lifeless body with pure rage. "Sam!" I yelled, my brain registering that Samael had just killed someone.

Samael didn't hear me. He grabbed the lifeless body, smashed its head against the wall, and tore the head clean off. He threw the head behind him, and it collided with the vase, shattering it into a million pieces. Both the head and the broken vase slid across the marble floor, and I was too traumatized to even move.

He didn't stop. He picked up the headless body, hurled it to the other side of the apartment, and took a step forward.

"Sam!" My scream of terror finally caught his attention. He turned his head towards me, baring his teeth dangerously. He stared at me, waiting for my next words. "You... You just killed someone!" My eyes darted around, taking in the chaotic scene of the apartment—the blood leaking from the head, the body lying on the other side of the room. What had begun as an amazing night had ended in a bloodbath. "So?" Sam asked, as if I had said something ridiculous. "You can't just kill people!" I screamed.

I couldn't stop screaming. My mind had completely unravelled. Everything inside me had shattered. And I was terrified that this wasn't the end of his rage.

"Of course I can, I am the fucking devil." Sam snapped. "I torture and kill those who deserve it. And that guy deserved a lot more than what he got. I just didn't want him to die in my kingdom and deal with that aftermath."

"You can't be here!" I yelled next, my body slightly trembling. I suddenly felt so cold—cold, confused, terrorized. "I am here," Sam simply said, the anger slowly subsiding. He was the Demon King of Wrath, so calm would never be his nature, but a hint of color returned to his eyes.

"You have to go! What the fuck?!" I continued, still not comprehending what had just transpired.

"Oh, fuck this shit. Come here." Samael said, taking four steps towards me and grabbing my arm forcefully. "What are you doing?!" I asked, feeling the harsh and painful grip on my arm. "Taking you. I've had enough of this. You're mine, and you will fucking behave like it." Samael snapped at me, wrapping his other arm around me. I elbowed him, regaining some sense of reality. "I'm not going anywhere!" I retorted angrily, attempting to break free from his grasp. "That's where you're wrong. You're Satan's captive now, my little wildflower."

The world around me snapped shut.

The world spun around me, and the vodka coursing through my body only intensified the disorientation. Sam's grip on me remained tight, and due to the dizziness, I allowed his touch. Stepping out of his hold during our journey to another realm seemed something stupid to do, so I reluctantly held on.My forehead touched his hard shoulder and his fingers dug into my skin more. I just had to overcome this dizziness. When my feet touched the ground, I immediately stepped back, away from the demon king holding me. "Welcome back." Samael said in a mocking tone. Welcome back. I opened my eyes to a pitch-black world devoid of any sound or signs of life. Glancing to my left, my heart skipped a beat. There stood an enormous, black castle, emanating a gothic and gloomy aura. Its towering spires reached for the sky, with bats swirling around the highest points. It was the epitome of a haunted house, a place one would expect to find in Satan's realm. A perpetual mist seemed to envelop the surrou

"Leave," Samael snapped at the crowd, and every single demon turned around. I almost wanted to plead with some of them to just look at me, to help me. But demons tended to be as loyal as dogs when it came to their King. Nobody would misstep here. Nobody would look at me from here on out. That was completely and utterly unfair. As I looked up at Samael, I saw a woman dressed in royal attire standing close to us, staring daggers at me. "You're cutting me off from the entire world." I stated at the demon holding me, ignoring the woman behind him. "You don't need the world." Samael stated back, his eyes on the disappearing demons. "Of course I do. You can't just take away all social contact from me." I snapped back. His eyes suddenly pierced me, and they were black with anger. "You had social contact. And you decided to fuck those social contacts. So to prevent any more accidents, it's better if you have no contact with anyone anymore for the rest of your life.""You can't do that." I s

My breath hitched when the world around me fell away. A cold touch kept me tethered to the demon realm, but I knew in my mind I was somewhere else. The body behind me held me upright, and the chilling hand on my neck was the only tangible reality. A bright light blinded me for a second, and when I saw what was in the light, I wanted nothing but the darkness back. Before me lay the lifeless bodies of my parents, their throats brutally slashed, while my beloved dog lay broken and bruised beside them. The light blinded me again. Elyse screaming from immense agony was the first thing I heard. Then I saw her, laying on a torture bed, nails sticking out of her skin. Once more, the blinding light transported me to a scene of horror. Elle's tear-stained face was twisted with despair as she mourned over the lifeless body of Adrian, his blood staining her entire body. "STOP!" I cried out, my voice filled with anguish. When the light came again, I sobbed in agony. But this time it wasn't

"This is your bedroom." I stated with my eyes scanning the art on the ceiling. It was a painting of what looked like a fight. It didn't look like two sides against each other, but more like it was just everybody fighting each other. His room could've easily been the home of Dracula. "It is." Samael confirmed, lighting one more candle beside his bed. "Don't you have slaves to do that for you?" I asked, my eyes on his hands with fire in them. "Slaves and servants are not welcome here. Nobody enters my bedroom." Samael responded, extinguishing the flame. "Am I not a slave, then?" I challenged. Sam turned around to me and actually smirked at me. "You're a different kind of slave. You are required to be here. But if you wish to light my room, be my guest." "No, thank you." I scowled in return. I was not a slave. Samael clicked his tongue as if he was annoyed and pointed to a door opposite of his bed. "Your bedroom is there. When you hear a knock or when you are called, come to me at o

Rushing to the door, I eagerly opened it, hoping to find someone there who could help me. The hallway was once again deserted, and I almost stepped out to call for help when my foot touched fabric. Looking down, I discovered a bundle of clothes lying at my feet.My curiosity couldn't be helped.I threw it on my bed and noticed it was less fabric than I hoped for.A dark red, skin tight, way too short dress. The underwear was black and almost too small and when I looked in the mirror, I wanted to throw up all over again. The dress barely covered my ass. And the top wasn't much better. At least my waist looked tiny, but I preferred a burlap sack over this little thing. It was more a top than a dress. Bending was out of the question. Walking the stairs, a big no. Let alone trying to do anything else than sitting straight or standing in the same place, this outfit was completely and utterly useless and I hated it with all my guts. But I had no choice. The dress I wore last night had vomit

The guy, Vuja, ran away with haste and I felt a little embarrassed that I was the subject of his order. Within a matter of seconds, a sharp knife landed in front of Samael, causing his wine glass to tremble ever so slightly. Observing the scene, I noticed that the slaves refrained from engaging in conversation with Samael. They would bow, but there was no exchange of greetings or further words. Perhaps that was Sam's preference.Samael grabbed the knife and harshly put it in front of me on the table, making his wine glass shake more. "Keep it on you at all times, Fay. I'm not fucking joking around." He let go of the knife and slid it closer to me. "No, you don't seem the type that jokes around." I said back, my eyes on the extremely sharp looking knife.Suddenly, Samael's face was right next to mine. His voice dripped with a threatening tone as he whispered in my ear, "Be careful what you say, flower. I know your deepest fears."A shiver ran down my arm, the memories of last night sti

I had to say something to distract him, and it worked instantly.Sam's face scrunched up like he didn't understand my words, but the pure rage left his eyes, and the demons around us calmed down straight away."Human blood... Human blood is completely different." Samael eventually said, his attention shifting now that he was explaining something to me. "To taste something so innocent... So pure... It's completely different from demon blood, which can sometimes even taste polluted, like it's contaminated with poison. Like it has some sort of disease in it. Not human blood. Human blood always tastes... Like you're fucking and devilling an angel from heaven."I raised one eyebrow.Samael leaned closer to me. "Especially yours, Fay. That's why I will be drinking it tonight."His fiancé snapped her head toward us, her eyes filled with nothing but pure hatred."No, you won't." I said to Samael, my eyes going back to him. Without uttering another word, without providing any further explanation, I leaned back, taking my wrist with me. Samael appeared perplexed and bewildered, gazing down at his hand with furrowed brows. As the crowd erupted in cheers for three new demons about to engage in combat, Sam shook his head slightly and turned his attention forward, away from me."So," I interjected, recapturing his focus, "Who's going to win?"I folded my hands in my lap, shielding my throbbing wrist from any more attacks. My gaze remained fixed on the three demons entering the fighting ring, confident that my question would divert Samael's attention."Of these three?" Samael asked, not saying anything about our little moment. "Fuck, they all look pathetic.""Choose one. Let's make a bet," I half-commanded, my eyes still fixed on the three demons preparing themselves with murderous glances at each other. I could sense Samael stealing a sidelong glance at me. "What are we betting on?" He asked."My king," Quiri

“Are we really sure about this?“ Elle asked, her voice thick with apprehension. “We’re sure.” Elyse replied firmly, her eyes brimming with hope. Neither Elle nor I could bring ourselves to object any further. There was only one wall between this room and the dungeons, which were currently empty since all the prisoners had been taken out for the hunt. That's why tonight was the perfect night to do this. Sam wouldn't be here, and nor would be any of the hunters. Adrian had been invited to the hunt, much to his delight, and so even he would be occupied for the entire night. “How exactly do we do this?” I asked, frowning as doubt crept in. Half of me was convinced it wouldn’t work. The other half—the rational part—was terrified that it might. “Did we really have to pick the creepiest place for this?!” I jumped at the sound of a male voice, my hand instinctively gripping the hilt of my knife. Dante and Reggie had entered, Dante carrying a thick black book while Reggie laughed, pattin

I smiled and tugged on Sam’s pants, pulling him closer until his body pressed against mine. The thick branch beneath us held steady, but offered no protection from the cold wind gusting over our bare skin. Sam’s lips captured mine once again, and as his hand slid across my skin, feeling my goosebumps, fire burst from his fingertips. I gasped when the branch caught fire. Sam quickly doused the flames with his ice, but I stared at the charred spot, shock coursing through me. My mouth fell open in disbelief. "What... What is this?" I asked with disbelief. “I... I don’t know,” Sam replied, his eyes wide with uncertainty. “Have you always had this?” I questioned suspiciously, turning toward him. He looked at me, clearly unsure. “No,” he admitted, glancing down at his hand in amazement. I did the same. “I think it’s you. Your fire... it’s in my veins now.” I blinked, trying to process his words. "I noticed it every time I had your blood in my system. I felt the warmth. But I couldn

I bit my lip in torment, unable to tear my gaze away from Sam’s bare upper body. The fact that my body temperature was already too high didn’t help, nor did the way Sam moved in the fighting circle, calculating his next move to defeat his eight opponents. The scar I had given him long ago with a whip stood out starkly against his bronzed skin. The crown still sat firmly on his head, a testament to his rigid posture—even in the middle of combat. I almost groaned in desperation when Sam lifted the corner of his mouth into a smug smirk, taunting his enemies. Sam was intoxicated by the fight. It had been a long time since anyone dared challenge him, but tonight, nothing could stop him. He gave his challengers a simple choice: yield or die. A number of demons already lay dead at the corners of the ring. The vampires were nearly driven mad by the scent of blood, but Lucifer had kept them in check by giving each a bottle of blood wine. They lounged around, enjoying the company of several

I followed Sam's gaze and was met with thousands of silent eyes. It was still beyond me how such a large crowd could remain so quiet. My eyes first landed on Lucifer's wife, who was yanked back harshly by her husband. Lucifer looked regal, wearing a massive crown. His purple attire suited his large frame, and he puffed out his chest proudly when our gazes met. Shea stood a few meters away with the Lust crowd, her expression disapproving. The moment our eyes met, she quickly looked down. Moving on, I saw Adrian with his arms around Elle, both beaming with happiness and pride. I forced myself to suppress a smile, wanting to appear serious, and looked further. Dagon stood with Ren, holding hands. Ren gently stroked Dagon's arm. I almost gasped when I noticed a slight bump in Dagon's belly. I nodded in acknowledgment, and Dagon responded with a serene smile, nodding back. Elyse stood near them, arms crossed, looking as fierce as any demon king. The numerous knives strapped to her bod

“Don’t be nervous.” Elle scolded me from behind. I huffed in response. “I’m so done with these public events.” I replied, wringing my hands together. “Well, get ready for a lot more. You’re going to be Queen.” Elyse commented from the side. I eyed her, furrowing my brows. Elle finished the intricate braid, adding small wildflowers to my hair. Their colors popped against my dark strands, and I smiled at my reflection in the mirror. Elyse applied a final swipe of red lipstick to my lips, stepping back to admire her work. "You look absolutely perfect. Like a true Queen." I smiled again. My throat was bare. It would soon be adorned with a ruby necklace, similar to Sam's. Small rubies dangled from my ears, and a simple gold bracelet wrapped around my wrist. My dress was black and red, massive and encrusted with gemstones. I could barely walk in it, but apparently, this was how coronation dresses looked in this realm. Except for Elle, considering she was dressed in lingerie and a see

"Two bottles and one pack of cigarettes a month. That's my offer. Take it or leave it." Sam said, turning to Rhazien. The vampire sucked on his teeth, his fangs just visible, sharp and menacing. A shudder ran through me. They looked lethal. And painful. Lucifer, leaning heavily on the table, looked desperate. Around him, the vampires shared the same tense, eager expressions. Rhazien paused, letting the tension stretch. He scanned the room, his gaze lingering on each of us before it finally settled on Sam. He nodded once. "Yes!" Lucifer cheered, immediately turning to point at random vampires—each of them stunning in their own way. Lucifer's wife was going to have a heart attack. "I'll have my own harem!" He announced proudly. Sam sighed, clearly exasperated. "Oh, hell... What have we gotten ourselves into?" I snorted, nudging his chest. "Let him have his fun." "My brothers won’t be happy about this," Sam muttered. "I just gave the King of Pride something to brag about

I watched with interest as everyone around me became increasingly drunk. I kept my distance from the wine, not wanting to cloud my mind, and leaned comfortably against Sam. The vampires danced with the grace and allure of professional performers, putting on quite the spectacle. “I have some gifts for you, Rhazien.” Sam said, cutting through my distracted thoughts. “Gifts?” Rhazien’s eyes lit up with curiosity. “For your hospitality.” Sam reached to his side, producing a packet of cigarettes and a bottle of wine. Rhazien gasped, his excitement palpable. “Is that…?” Rhazien asked, his voice full of wonder. “Yes,” Sam smirked from behind me, “enjoy them.” “What are those?” I asked, eyeing the odd-smelling cigarettes. I recognized the wine as blood wine. “Blood cigarettes,” Sam replied. I froze at the words. “A delicacy for vampires. They can’t make them themselves. The process is intricate and involves working with a lot of blood,” he explained softly. Rhazien twirled the cigare

After a moment, he sighed. “Deal.” “Perfect.” Sam said with a grin, extending his hand. They shook on it, both clearly satisfied. I looked ahead, noticing some women dancing sensually on the bar. Their bodies moved like snakes, swaying their hips seductively, the atmosphere dripping with allure. Sam and Rhazien clinked their glasses and downed their drinks in sync, slamming the empty glasses down with matching grins. I knew Sam was getting drunk when he suddenly pulled me onto his lap. I gasped, instinctively resisting, but his supernatural strength held me still. He pressed my hips against his and my back against his chest. His arms encircled me, and he placed another glass of w

The dark ballroom got even darker when Rhazien clapped his hands, and the dangerous tension in the room rose considerably. “Do you think they’ll dance with me?” Lucifer asked, his eyes fixed on a group of vampires. “They would be honored, King of Envy,” Credence replied. “Many of us have never had the privilege of meeting a demon.” "Why is that?" I asked with interest, glancing at the human girls twirling around in beautiful dresses, their vampire partners looking down at them like they were a snack. They probably were. “We're not foolish enough to venture into the demon realm. That would be suicide,” Credence explained, tapping her glass with her long, blood-red nails. “Nor do we invite demons into our lands. Demons are too bloodthirsty. For your King, we made a exception." "We won't shed any blood here." I promised her, even though I couldn't see her. "Don't make promises that aren't yours to make, Queen of Wrath.
