"Do you think she's ready for me?" Sean had changed into a black silk nightgown and sat down on the sofa in his room.

Calmly, the man took a sip of his wine, then looked at Taylor, his personal bodyguard and confidant, who stood before him with his trademark expressionless face.

"I think she is ready, but not to surrender to you, but to kill you. The look in her eyes is a hateful and murderous one," Taylor replied half-jokingly.

Sean smiled slightly at this answer, "Yes, her eyes are burning and hateful. He took another sip of his wine and closed his eyes, "But you know how much I want to have her tonight.

"Yes, I know," Taylor replied calmly, "are you going to force her?"

"I don't like to force women, you know that." He was used to being surrounded by women who submitted to him because no woman could resist Sean Anderson's charms.

With his dark hair, pale blue eyes and aristocratic face, you could almost say he was as perfect as an angel. If only his eyes weren't so cold, unfeeling, and filled with a deep, terrifying hatred. That was what made Sean like a demon trapped in an angel's body.

"I want her to give herself to me." He continued.

"Of course," Taylor muttered. Sean's words were like an order to him and then he went into the kitchen to do something.

'This drug was very strong.' Taylor looked at the white powder in the small container in front of him. 'Very strong and very effective at the same time. And if this woman takes it, she will surrender to Mr. Sean and please him.'

With slow, calculated movements, Taylor mixed the tasteless white powder into Jenna's drink.

This drug would leave a woman tormented, begging to be satisfied. If no one satisfied her, she would feel her entire body burning with pain, and Taylor was sure that Jenna would beg, even plead with her master tonight.

Taylor smiled to herself and waited to see what would happen.

* * *

It had been almost an hour since Jenna had been locked in this room. A luxurious white room that seemed made for a woman, and she suddenly felt disgusted at the thought that Sean's former lovers might have been placed in this room as well.

One of Sean's coldest looking bodyguards arrived half an hour ago. He brought in a tray of food and placed it on the table. Then he left without saying anything and locked the door from the outside.

And for that long half hour, Jenna tried desperately not to look at the tempting tray. Her stomach was hungry and thirsty, she hadn't eaten since noon because she was too nervous to plan her revenge on Sean and now she was feeling the consequences.

'Maybe it's okay if I have a little taste,' Jenna thought. The smell of the food was so tantalizing, the sweet and savory aroma of hot cooking. 'No!' Her thoughts stopped herself.

She wasn't going to eat. She would rather starve than succumb to Sean's power.

'But if it's just a drink, maybe it's okay.' Jenna looked thirstily at the drinks on the tray. The fresh orange juice looked so tempting.

She finally gave in. She was thirsty to the point of fainting and she had to drink or she might actually faint while she had to find a way to escape this room, this house.

She quickly grabbed the glass and drank it in gulps because she was so thirsty and the cold stream of water felt so refreshing as it washed down her throat.

Before she knew it, the water was gone and she quietly put it down, feeling a little guilty but not regretting it. She felt better, and now she could think of ways to get out of this house.

Her eyes darted around the room, looking for a way to escape. At the far end was a large window, covered with white curtains.

She approached it cautiously to inspect it, but was immediately disappointed. The window was already covered with thick glass, and it was full of iron bars that were very strong, after all, she had just realized that she was on the second floor. Even if she could open the window, she still had to find a way to get down from the second floor safely.

Jenna tried to think again and remembered that she hadn't checked the bathroom at the end of the room. Maybe there was a way out of there that would escape their scrutiny.

She quickly stepped into the bathroom, but her steps sudenlulu were staggering and somehow her head felt heavy and her whole body felt hot.

'What is wrong with me?' Jenna felt her forehead. Did she have a fever? She was breathing hard and everything felt... so hot.

About 30 minutes later, Sean quietly opened the door to the room she was locked in.

It was late at night and he had no idea that Jenna was still awake.

The room was dark and dimly lit, but Sean's eyes caught the tray of food still intact, only the drinks were gone.

'Stubborn girl,' Sean growled inwardly. She thought she could threaten him by starving herself? She didn't know that Sean would use any means to make her surrender to him.

A rustling movement on the bed made Sean turn his head in alert.

In the dim light of the room, Sean saw Jenna lying restlessly. She hadn't slept yet and seemed unnerved.

Curious, Sean approached and found Jenna lying there with a tortured look in her eyes, her body writhing on the white satin bed as if in pain.

"Help me..." Jenna's voice sighed, hoarse.

Frowning, Sean sat on the edge of the bed and touched his fingers to Jenna's forehead, but her body temperature was normal. She had no fever.

The frown on Sean's brow deepened as he thought, 'What happened to her?

"Would you like a drink?" Sean deftly picked up the glass of water on the nightstand. "Here, let me help you."

Jenna's body leaned weakly against his arm and she was breathing hard. "It's hot. Help me... Please, I can't stand it." She sighed again.

Her voice sounded so tortured, but to Sean it was so seductive.

He handed Jenna a glass of water and she drank it quickly, but her breathing was still ragged and she still seemed tormented by the heat.

"There must be something... or maybe..." Sean pushed Jenna's body away from his so he could see her clearly.

Her face was flushed, her breathing was labored, and her eyes were slightly unfocused. She always complained about being hot.

That meant...

Sean quickly laid Jenna down on the bed, then left the room with a slam of the door and yelled, "Taylor!

In an instant, silently, as if by magic, Taylor appeared in front of Sean, "What's wrong, sir?"

"What did you give Jenna?" asked Sean angrily.

Taylor bent his body slightly, his face still expressionless. "I put my medicine in her drink, sir. You know what it is."

Sean's face hardened. "Yes. I know what the drug is, and I refuse to use a woman under the influence of drugs. You did something on your own without asking my permission. You know if I get mad, I can punish you!"

Taylor seemed unfazed by Sean's words. "You said you wanted to make this woman give up. While she hates you so much and will definitely rebel desperately, this medicine is the only way to make her surrender." He looked into Sean's eyes, "You can leave her room if you don't want to use her."

"She's in pain, you know that," Sean growled angrily.

Taylor shrugged. "You can ease the pain. And tomorrow, after you've got her, maybe she'll be more submissive."

"How much medicine did you give her?"

"The usual dose, sir. But the effects vary from person to person."

"So it can last for hours or all night?"

"As long as you want to have fun, sir."

Sean was silent. Taylor's words were so tempting, but did he really have to be an asshole just because he wanted her so much?

"Go away!" He sighed, still weighing his options, then walked back into the room, driven by a strong feeling to see Jenna again, and there she was, still writhing and moaning on the bed.

He sat on the bed and Jenna stared at him with misty eyes as if she did not recognize him. "I'm sick, my body is... hot..."

Sean smiled with a strange tenderness.

Jenna really didn't know what was happening to her, that there was only one way to cure her pain. And for that she needed him.

"Should I help you?" He was actually muttering to himself, then he leaned forward and gently brushed against Jenna's lips.

Jenna's eyes widened in shock and Sean couldn't help but smile. It was incredible, the mix of innocence and intense passion that really teased him.

"Don't you like it?" Sean whispered softly.

Jenna stared at Sean, or at least tried to see him with her barely focused eyes. "I... what happened to me?"

Sean reached out and brushed his fingers across her cheek, making Jenna's body shake. "My men took matters into their own hands and slipped some medicine into your drink." He tried to explain simply.

"Medicine...? Am I being poisoned?"

"It wasn't poison, Jenna. The medicine was just... it made you crave my touch. At least that's the gist of it."

It took Jenna a moment to process the meaning of Sean's words.

Her faint consciousness screamed a warning of danger, and her body immediately staggered, desperately trying to get away from the man, but Sean grabbed her again, then whispered softly in her ear, "I can help you heal your pain," he said. As he spoke, his hand came down to touch her.

Jenna's moan as she felt Sean's fingers on her body sounded so agonized.

"You're too sensitive, baby. You really need me now, don't you?"

"No!" Jenna tried to fight back and grabbed Sean's arm. "Don't! You can't do this!"

"It's the only way to help you," Sean's voice sounded a little hoarse, "let me help you."

"How did you help me?" Jena asked nervously and out of breath. In this state, seeing Sean's figure made her completely lose control.

"Don't move and let me do this." Even the touch of Sean's hand on her cheek felt so seductive.

One Month Later Jenna ran her fingers over the white fabric wrapping around her body. The dress she had specially asked the designer to make turned out exactly how she imagined it—simple, elegant. She’d chosen a minimal makeup look, even though the makeup artist seemed to have a slightly different definition of “minimal.” Still, the final result made Jenna look beautiful. Her hair was styled in a bridal bun, pinned with a diamond clip—a gift from the late Karen. Her chest tightened as she remembered her. The door behind her opened, and Jenna looked at the mirror. Alexa stood there with a warm smile. “You look beautiful,” she said, wearing her peach-colored bridesmaid dress. “I always do,” Jenna replied playfully, making Alexa chuckle. “You really do,” Alexa said again as she walked to the bathroom in the corner of the room. Jenna turned back to her reflection. “You miss Karen, don’t you?” Alexa asked when she returned. Jenna gave her a confused look. “You keep touching that ha

It was a scorching summer day. The kids were home for the holidays, hanging around with Jenna, who was also staying in that day because she had something to tell Sean. But Sean had to head to the office for an important business meeting. “Come home early,” Jenna said as she adjusted Sean’s tie one more time. “Of course. My family’s coming home today. I’ll be back right after the meeting,” Sean replied with a smile, then kissed her on the cheek. It had been three years since Sean started treating Jenna like she was already his, trying to win back her trust. During all that time, he never touched her without permission. Jenna only realized how much he’d been holding back when she once caught him looking really down. When she asked him about it, all Sean said was that he wanted to hug her but chose not to. That day, Jenna hugged him first and gave him permission to finally ease his longing. Even so, they still hadn’t kissed. There had been many chances, and Jenna knew Sean wanted to

After Ben's confession, before Jenna could even warn him not to tell anyone about his memory returning, the man had already sent a message to Carter and Esther. And Valeria was sure, by now, everyone already knew. "But... how?" Esther asked with her mouth full of spaghetti. Jenna shot her a look. "When I was kidnapped, I hit my head pretty hard. That impact brought my memory back. I was unconscious for almost two days," Jenna said calmly. Well, Esther hadn’t been involved in the incident, so she only knew what she'd been told. Esther herself had been hurt—turns out her mom was the one behind all this mess. And Jenna had just found out that Esther and Sean didn’t share the same mother. Sean had tried to think of Veronica as his mom, but that woman had hurt him badly. Jenna wasn’t ready to tell anyone yet, especially not Sean. After Karen’s funeral, she’d been grieving. And after that, she’d tried to move on. But now, as she saw him standing in front of the hotel in a black Arman

“Mama! Mom!” Valeria’s two kids shouted happily as they ran into her wide-open arms. “Hey!” Valeria laughed softly, hugging them one by one, soaking in their cheerful giggles that filled the air. “How are you, Mom?” Oliver asked, touching her flushed cheek. “As beautiful as you both,” Valeria replied, kissing their noses. They giggled again and kissed her cheek in return. “How have you been?” she asked, smiling warmly at Lily, who was already grabbing her coat and bag. “Mom, we played soccer at school today. I scored two goals!” Oliver said proudly, puffing out his little chest. “That’s amazing,” Valeria replied with a smile. “Mom, I planted a tree today,” Olivia added with a wide grin. “That’s great. Where did you plant it?” “In the backyard,” Olivia said, pointing toward the patio. “Nice. But you have to take good care of it. I’ll show you how to take care of a tree later,” Valeria said. The kids nodded excitedly. Valeria gently patted their heads one by one. “I’m reall

“Who’s Alice?” Valeria asked. This time, it was Veronica who decided to answer. “That’s me, sweetheart. Just a fake name to hide my identity.” “Then why did that woman call you Alice?” Valeria asked, looking at Alexa. “What woman?” Veronica frowned, then turned to Alexa. “That day, when we were at Sean’s place. I accidentally left my phone on the table, and Jenna answered it,” Alexa replied calmly. “You should’ve been more careful, sweetheart,” said Veronica. “Anyway, Alexa also used that name. But for a different reason. She used it during her charity work.” Valeria looked at Alexa, who responded only with a cold stare and sealed lips. “So it was you who sent me that note? And you’re the one behind that Halloween stunt?” Valeria asked again. Veronica chuckled softly. “Oh, come on! That was such a blast.” “Best Halloween ever,” Clara added with a smirk. Valeria clenched her fists so tightly that her nails dug into her palms, almost drawing blood. “It was so much fun watchin

“Blake?” Valeria whispered in disbelief. “Oh, Blake? He’s ours. Why do you think he never figured out who I really was? A real detective doesn’t take that long to uncover things like this. But your guy? He slowed everything down,” Veronica said casually as she pushed Karen’s body closer to Valeria. “We were this close to killing him, just like the other five guys Sean hired. But we made a deal. A little info from the inside doesn’t hurt us.” Valeria gasped. “Karen!” She reached out, grabbing her aunt’s limp hand. “Wake up! Please!” Tears streamed down her face as she looked at Karen’s pale features. The exhaustion carved into her face, those dark circles under her eyes—Valeria’s heart felt like it was being stabbed. “Shut up, you bitch!” Clara snapped before slapping Valeria hard across the face. Pain burned her skin, but Valeria didn’t flinch. She lifted her head and glared at Clara. “What did you do to her?” Valeria asked, her voice sharp. “Relax, she’s not dead,” Clara rep
