68. Biting Mikel

Luna Lawson:

Molly and Janet stood nervously in my room as they stared at Mikel admiring our twin babies before he left, and they let out their held breaths. I, on the other hand, was breathing fine, with my yellow eyes strictly focused on Mikel as I watched him touch my babies' little hands.

They were fully awake, and I was curious to know if Mikel didn't want to bewitch my babies.

Seeing him touching their little hands made me angry, and I wanted to warn him not to touch my babies again. However, I kept my raging nerves in check as I watched him carefully; he only touched their little hands and then left.

I turned to Janet, and she said, "I have to leave now for the clinic, our queen. If you need me, send Molly to call me."

"Okay," I replied softly as Janet left, leaving only Molly and me in my room.

"Prepare my bath first," I instructed Molly, knowing Mikel would be back, and I didn't want him to return when I would obviously be dressing up or wrapped in only a towel.
