Narrator’s POV— ( Present)
“Miss, Are you alright?” James saw Emily crying throughout the ride to her home, sitting on the backseat and he finally had to ask. He has turned off the engine after reaching her house but she was so busy crying that she didn’t even notice!
“Miss?” James got off and opened her side of the door and asked again which finally made her stop crying.
Emily rapidly wiped off the stream of tears from her face, roughly with her both hands and nodded forcing a smile.
“Yes James. I am good. Thank you.” Emily got off the car and simply walked inside once more rubbing her face to clean the residual tears. She knew well that her mother Sella would be worried to see her crying and she had to try not to show her pain.
