Chapter 142
Narrator’s POV—
It was Monday and just like every Monday Emily got up early and got ready before waking up Arian! She knew that Arian would cause trouble after spending two days completely with his mother! So, she has already called Jims and requested him to give her a ride!
Emily wore a black pencil skirt and a white shirt. She tied her long hair into a pony tail and put some light make up just to make her look professional. With a black shoe with three inches heel, she was ready. She looked at the clock. It was twenty minutes to seven and Grace would be there by seven.
Emily quickly brushed Arian and helped him with his morning routines and got him quickly dressed for school.
She made him sit on a chair made for him next to the counter and poured him milk in his Sippy cup. Just then Grace also arrived!

Narrator’s POV— The whole night Emily tossed and turned! She couldn’t sleep at all since her mind was full of worry! Ms Lopez clearly said that she has to reach office by 9 every day and work till six in the evening to make up for the lost time!
