Daxton Finds Out

Daxton came to a stop in front of his father's office. He placed his ear on the door to hear if he was talking to anyone. He knew there was something fishy that the sly old man was planning, judging by his frequent disappearance from the pack. But, when he had asked, his father had told him that he went for a meeting.

His father was not to be trusted after the scandal with Claire's mates. Daxton knew that his father had not gotten over the humiliation he faced when the twin Alphas attacked him. He was blinded by his quest for revenge that he was willing to do anything to get back at them.
