Emily’s POV: “How the hell did this happen?” Melissa asked me in shock as everyone left the class except for us. “Exactly…” Aria said and continued, “Is Aiden that smart? Is he that intelligent?” “I don’t know…” I said and rubbed my forehead after which I realized something. “Wait… I know, now” “What?” Melissa asked me in confusion. “Like everyone else, Mr. Martin is also doing what has said. Maybe – maybe he has bribed him or something or threatened him… He’s good at it” I said in frustration. “Em…? Do you think Mr. Martin have done unfair?” Melissa asked me. “I am not blaming Mr. Martin, Mel… I know Aiden can be threatening to an extremely high level… He can be so ruthless… You don’t know, so maybe Mr. Martin was helpless. He couldn’t do anything so he has to give results in favor of Aiden…” I said to them. “Oh my, that can be possible” Aria said widening her eyes. “Then what are you going to do?” Melissa asked me. “I – I am going to first talk to Aiden and tell him that I
Emily’s POV: “What – What is it?” I asked Mr. Martin. “Does Aiden threaten you?” He asked me dubiously. I got nervous and didn’t know what to say or how to explain the scenarios to him. “I mean did he threaten you to do anything wrong or anything… inappropriate?” Mr. Martin asked hesitantly. I immediately started, “No, no Mr. Martin, it’s not at all like that. Why would you think that?” “Melissa said just now that he threatens you but never harm you…” Mr. Martin said. Before I could say anything, Mr. Martin continued, “Emily, if he is threatening you do something wrong or something inappropriate, you can always come to me about that, okay? You don’t have to be scared or anything…” “No… I mean thanks a lot, Mr. Martin, I – I really appreciate that but um… He didn’t threaten me to do anything wrong. It was just some pranks and high school things Melissa was talking about. It’s nothing serious. Everything is fine…” I tried to explain him. “Okay then that’s fine…” Mr. Martin said
Aiden’s POV: As they kept looking at the menu, choosing their flavors, I began to look around the parlor and observe it’s interior which looked like a doll house. I scoffed and shook my head when suddenly the glass door swung open and to my surprise, Dora walked in panting. “Damn, she is everywhere” I said in frustration as I looked at her walking in. “Who…?” Dylan asked and turned around to look through my way after which he turned back around and then looked at me with a smile on his face. “Why are you smiling…?” I asked him in frustration. “I don’t…” He started and laughed after which Mason and Lucas began to smile too. “Guys…” I said to them and widened my eyes. Dylan laughed and then controlled himself to add, “I don’t know… It’s like in your fate or something. You can’t go away from her…” “Really, man…” Mason said and laughed while I shook my head in frustration. “What is she doing here?” I wondered. “Eating ice cream, no…?” Lucas said and shrugged. “But then why is s
Emily’s POV: “Emily… You can go and attend some other table” Marco said to me. “I said she is not going anywhere” Aiden replied to him. “And who are you to decide that?” Marco asked him while moving forward. “I am your customer…” Aiden replied and moved a little forward. I was standing in between those two guys who were showing each other the ego and attitude which was almost the same in both of them. “Um… Marco…” I turned to Marco and started, “It’s okay… I’ll manage” “Emily, I can take from here…” Marco insisted. “I want her to take my order. I don’t want you…” Aiden said to him bitterly. Marco, while glaring at Aiden, walked towards him passing by me while I couldn’t get words in my mouth to stop him. “Mar – Marco…” I started. “Shh…” Marco said to me and continued to move forward towards Aiden while Aiden kept glaring at him and stood there still and firm on the ground. “What is wrong with you man?” Marco asked him. “Everything is wrong with me. So don’t you dare mess w
Aiden’s POV: All the way to the house, I kept thinking about Emily and that guy Marco who was trying to protect Emily from me. I don’t know why but I was bothered by that. I was frustrated maybe because Emily now had someone to protect her from me or be the good guy in front of her. I was assuming that something might happen between them because I saw some chemistry and a spark in them. It was obvious and it was bothering me but I couldn’t figure out why. On the way to the house, nobody talked. “So do you want to talk about it?” Dylan said as we entered in the house and I made my way to the living room. “About what?” I asked while I sat down on the couch. “About what happened back there at the ice cream parlor?” Dylan said while pouring us drink as everyone settled down. “I don’t know what you are talking about. We got there, checked the place out and helped your aunt a bit… Everything went fine, I guess…” I said and shrugged. “Really?” Dylan asked me raising his eye brow as he
Emily’s POV: After thinking about Marco and wondering if he actually helped me because of me and not just because I was a fellow staff member, I finally came to a conclusion that it was nothing but just some weird thoughts filling up in my mind. “Guys... I think this is not at all possible…” I said to them as we began to eat some chips. “Do you really think so?” Melissa asked me. “Of course, Mel… He can never like me or do anything for me like that… It was indeed the only reason which he told me. That he did all of that as he would do for any other fellow staff member. So just leave it…” I said and before anyone could say anything, I changed the topic and began to talk about Dylan. “Hey and you know what…?” I turned to Aria and started, “Dylan is somehow connected to you…” “How…?” Aria got anxious. “Because… He is Aunt Ruby’s nephew. And Aunt Ruby is your dad’s friend’s sister. So…” I mapped out everything. “So, that means Aria’s dad and Dylan’s dad are friends…” Melissa concl
Aiden’s POV: While heading back home, I started, “What are we going to do today?” “Let’s do some hunting today, what say?” Mason suggested excitedly from behind. “Great idea…” Dylan agreed. “I am in…” Lucas added. “No…” I said and as everybody got silent, I added, “I mean, let’s go to eat ice cream today also…” “What…?” Dylan got shocked and the car got out of his control but he managed to get it back in control as all of us began to say his name out loud. “What are you saying…?” Dylan asked me. “So, what…?” I asked him. “Aiden…? You want to go back to that ice cream parlor? Seriously?” Mason asked me. “Yes, I loved their ice cream… Also, I didn’t get to try some of the flavors yesterday. I want to complete that…” I said to them. “Aiden, do you want to go their because of the ice cream or because of…” Lucas cleared his throat and then added further, “Or because of Emily…?” “Yeah…” Mason said from behind while nodding vigorously. “Yes, I want to go there for Emily…” I agre
Emily’s POV: “Wha – What?” I asked with my eyes wide open. “Yes…” Marco said casually. “Are – are you… I mean, um…” I started and blinked my eyes several times to bring myself back to Earth. I rubbed my forehead and then continued, “Um, you…? Why?” “Emily… It’s not such big a deal…” Marco said. “Um, no, I mean…” I started. “Emily… Actually, Ruby told me everything about how you also lost your mother at a very young age and when you came to talk to me, I ah… I didn’t listen to you and made you go away from there. So as an apology, I would like you to come for a dinner with me…” Marco said. “Oh, um… Thank you, I really appreciate that. But um…” I started but got interrupted. “Hey…” Aiden called out loudly. “Bring me the check…” He added. “Yeah… Coming…” I said bitterly to him and then turned to Marco to add, “I ah… Let me give him the check and then I’ll talk to you…” “Sure…” Marco said and then turned to look at Aiden to add bitterly, “You give him the check and tell him to g
Aiden’s POV: I kept looking at the Maester and lowered my head for a moment before looking back at him. “I understand that, Maester. But I’d like to respectfully tell you something,” I said and took a step forward, looking into his eyes. “I won’t let anyone hurt her even if it means going against my pack and getting killed. And about me… You can kill me. I don’t mind but I want you to make sure that she would not be bothered again ever in her life.” I added.“What are you saying, Aiden?” Dylan whispered to me bitterly from behind, while I stood confidently in front of the Maester.“We cannot kill you, Aiden,” The Maester. “Now that you’re the alpha, it’s not possible to kill you,” he added and took another step forward. “But that girl…”“That girl should not be harmed. It’d turn me against my community, Maester,” I said sharply and he kept looking at me for a few seconds before looking away.“I heard about the fight. I know how immensely you love that human. But make sure that she st
Dylan’s POV: As Aiden and Austin moved towards each other, I turned to look at Emily and immediately carried her up in my arms to take her to a side. Suddenly, I saw Austin taking a leap towards Emily but Aiden attacked him from behind, digging his nails into Austin’s flesh and he screeched. Austin jumped out of Aiden’s grip and turned around to face him. They both glared into each other’s eyes and then growled before pacing forward and jumped up in the air, grabbing each other. Aiden once again dug his nails into Austin’s back and pulled him down to the ground with a thud after which he bit Austin on his shoulder and he wailed. I could see Aiden’s frustration in his eyes, the way he was biting and scratching Austin. Their fight continued for almost twenty minutes and they both seemed equally strong for each other. Finally, as Austin was injured and stepped down on his knees for a while, Aiden jumped up from behind and grabbed Austin, turning him around and pinning him to the ground.
Aiden’s POV: I kept walking towards Austin’s house while my pack paced ahead of me as I had planned. Suddenly, we heard Emily scream and I halted in my track.“It’s her, right?” Dylan asked me and I clenched my jaws, my eyes welling up.“He’s doing the biggest mistake of his life,” I added bitterly. “He’s going to die horribly,” I added.“Aiden, you need to calm down. She’ll be alright, don’t worry,” Mason said and I took a breath, before proceeding to walk forward. Finally we reached the house and I observed the surroundings closely to check how many wolves were there. I nodded at Dylan who signaled some of our men to go ahead from the left side while some went towards the right with dad leading them. I stood there in the middle, planning my way to kill Austin.Soon after we heard some howls and I realized that everyone there had turned. I was ready to turn too and proceed forward. However, my heart was racing with anxiety as I feared to see Emily. I didn’t want to see her in pain.
Aiden’s POV: He kept looking at me for a few seconds before taking a breath and lowering his head down.“Look, Aiden,” he started, rubbing his forehead with his fingertip. “I know you love her and if anything will happen to her then you’d be devastated. I don’t hate your relationship with her more than I care about you,” he added. “So I am going to come with you. They will help us,” he said confidently.“Us? Are you going to fight Austin with us?” Dylan asked him.“Of course. I cannot let Aiden be alone in this war,” he replied and placed his hand on my shoulder. I couldn’t believe him and kept looking at him wondering if he was the same person who hated my relationship with Emily so much that he wanted to kill her. Now he himself was ready to help me save her life.“Well, thanks. Shall we go now?” I asked and he nodded before we walked away from there.Dylan called everyone from our pack at our land’s clearing and they were quick enough to reach there within half an hour as their Al
Aiden’s POV: My blood was boiling thinking about how Austin managed to take Emily away from me. I promised her that I’d protect her at any cost and I failed. It made me feel disappointed in myself as I had her bracelet clenched in my hand.“Austin won. He took her away,” Lucas said in disappointment. “How the hell are we going to find her?” he added in frustration.“I know how,” I said and reached out for my phone in my pocket while they continued to look at me in confusion.“What are you doing?” Dylan asked me.“Are you calling Austin?” Mason asked as I began to call someone.“Hello,” I said as the person answered the phone. “Phil, did you do it?”“Yes, sir. I have got it,” Phil replied.“Great, where?” I asked.“Sir, I am sending you.” He replied.“Okay,” I said and hung up the call while a small smirk graced my face.“Who did you call?” Dylan asked me and I turned to Lucas.“Austin can never win against me, Luc. No one can,” I told him and he got more confused.“What are you sayin
Melissa’s POV: While dancing slowly with Dylan, I couldn’t help but glance around to see if Emily and Aiden could be seen.“Their meeting is going to last for a long time, I guess,” Dylan said and I blinked my eyes wide, looking at him.“How did you know that I was…?” I started.“I know, worrying about Emily,” he added and I lowered my eyes. “It’s okay. I don’t mind,” he said, smiling.“I am just worrying about how her meeting with Mr. Bill is going. This internship is very important for her. I hope she gets it. But why is this Bill guy taking so much time with each student?” I asked in frustration.“Oh, I am thinking the same,” Aria’s voice reached me as she moved towards me, while dancing slowly with Mason.“Do you think we should go and check on them?” I asked her, moving my hands away from Dylan.“Yes, we can,” Aria agreed.“No you guys cannot. Mr. Martin clearly told us that only those ten students should be around the staircase. He didn’t want any extra crowd there,” Mason poin
Emily’s POV: I was happy and excited to attend the party where I was going to meet Mr. Bill. I felt proud to be on Mr. Martin’s list and realized how my hard work finally paid off after so many years. With a smile on my face, I looked at myself in the mirror as I got dressed in an olive green knee-length A-line dress. The neckline was heart-shaped, and I left my hair loose on my shoulders."Be your best today, Emily," I told myself, taking a deep breath. Suddenly, the door swung open, and Aiden walked in, wearing a black suit with a black shirt and shiny black oxford shoes.“You look…” I stopped there as I adored him from up to down.“Hot?” he asked, walking inside. “Sexy? Handsome?” he asked further and reached my dressing table."Yes, everything you just said," I replied with a smile. "By the way, you've stopped knocking before entering the room since our first night together," I complained."Yep, because now I'm allowed to see you naked. So you can be in any condition, and I can w
Emily’s POV: I couldn't calm my breathing. My body was frozen in place, except for my eyes, which blinked rapidly. Nervousness, anxiety, and excitement washed over me. I recalled Aria's words and realized how wonderful it was to be with him. To feel his hands all over my body. To feel the warmth of his body against mine. To smell his pleasant scent so close. It had been incredible from the beginning when he kissed me to this moment, where I was lying in front of him, my legs spread apart and my chest heaving in anticipation as he held his erection, preparing to enter me.As his erection brushed against my vagina, I flinched and gasped, my heart racing."Relax. Just don't tighten up. Keep yourself loose," he suggested. I gulped and nodded, trusting him completely. With my heart skipping beats, I looked into his eyes as he slid his fingers between mine and moved forward, slowly sliding himself into me."Aah!" I let out a loud cry, moving my head up and grabbing his shoulder with my rig
Emily’s POV: I kept looking into his eyes as he moved his hands down to my waist and pulled me closer, making me gasp and swallow hard."I love you very much," he said, while I kept breathing heavily. "And because I love you, I don't want to rush into anything you're not comfortable with," he added. I blinked widely, realizing how understanding and considerate he was. I felt proud of myself for loving a guy who was selfless and humane, despite being an animal.“I don’t want you to feel any kind of pressure because you’re going through a lot right now. I want you to know that you can feel comfortable around me because we don’t have to do anything right now. It all can wait,” he told me and I blinked my eyes rapidly, feeling more love and passion for the man in front of me.“No,” I started and took a breath, before clenching his sleeves to keep him as close as possible. “I don’t want to wait. And I don’t want you to wait either,” I added and he kept staring into my eyes for a few secon
