Dylan’s POV: As he drove off, I and Mason get inside through the back door and into the swimming pool area. As we got out of the pool area and started walking towards the hallway, I saw Emily’s friends Melissa and Aria walking briskly towards us. “Hey you guys…” Melissa called out loud. I rolled my eyes and took a deep breath. “What?” I asked her as they both came in front of us. “Where is Emily?” Melissa asked confidently while her other friend stood quietly on the side. “She is at a place where she should be” I said arrogantly. “Don’t you play games with me” She said and moved a little forward towards me. “Where is she?” She asked again. “I told you…” I said and moved forward towards her as she took some steps backwards and I continued, “She is… where she should be now” “And where is that?” She came near me and asked sharply. I looked at her deepening my eyes and started, “Why should I tell you that?” “Because I am her friend” She replied and placed her hands on her waist.
Emily’s POV: I looked at him and widened my eyes as he kept leaning towards me making me lean back. “What did you say?” He asked while narrowing his eyes at me. “I – I didn’t say anything” I said in a shaky voice. “No you said, enough and that too by shouting at me” He said bitterly and kept leaning at me. “At me?” He raised his voice and repeated. “I – I didn’t mean to… I – I am sorry…” I said while leaning back and placing my hands under my chin and looking at him timidly. “How dare you…?” He asked bitterly. “I – am so – sorry” I said and breathed heavily. “You are dead now, Dora” He said and abruptly moved towards me. I had no choice but to scream and open the door and get out of the car to notice that I was on Mile road. I kept screaming and as he get out of the car from the other side and I began to run. As he started to chase me, I began to run into the woods without a second thought. “Don’t run away…” He shouted from behind but I kept running into the woods while screa
Emily’s POV: As he applied brakes after reaching my house, I took a sigh of relief. “Finally…” I murmured. “What did you say?” He asked turning to me. I looked at him and got restless, “Um, no, nothing” “Don’t murmur things okay?” He said bitterly and I nodded while looking at him. “Now go inside, don’t roam around the street” He ordered. “Why would I roam about the street?” I asked him in confusion. “I don’t know… your curious self would lead you to do so” He said and rolled his eyes while I looked at him resentfully and was about to get out of the car. “And…” He said and I didn’t move. “Do apply something on the elbow” “Yeah…” I said and looked away. As I opened the car door and was about to get out he added, “Listen…” I turned to look at him and he continued, “Do apply something on the wrist too” I looked at him in confusion and said, “What?” “Your left wrist…” He said and moved his eyes towards my left wrist which was still red and inflamed. “Apply something there” He
Aiden’s POV: I entered my house and tossed my jacket on the couch which Dora returned to me. “Murray…” I called my house manager. Murray is my personal house assistant more than just a manager. He manages everything in my house and all the servants and manages my things as well. Also, he is well aware of our reality and all the secrets. “Yes sir…” He said from inside the dining room and immediately came running to me. “What’s the matter, sir?” He asked further. “Where is Dylan and Mason?” I asked him. “They have not returned from school yet, sir” He informed. “What?” I began to think. “Fine” I said and then added, “How’s Luc? Did he eat something?” “Yes, sir… I sent breakfast to his room” Murray said. “But did he eat that?” I asked him. “I have no idea, sir. He didn’t allow me in” Murray said and bent his face down. “Bastard!” I murmured while looking up at Lucas’s room and then turned to Murray to add, “It’s okay, Murray. You go and continue with your work” “Thank you, sir
Aiden’s POV: “It’s Lucas…” I said anxiously while looking at the window. “Are you sure?” Dylan asked. “It has to be… Who else would it be near our house? It’s definitely Lucas…” I said and they both began to look at me. “But why would he run away from his window?” Mason asked in confusion. “Because he knew we wouldn’t let him go” I said. “But he would have gone easily when we were at school” Dylan pointed out. “No… Before leaving for school, I told Murray to keep an eye on him and not let him out of the house” I informed them. “Then we should go to him” Mason suggested. “Yes we should…” I said. “He’s out there to take revenge and he will need us” I added. “Revenge from who?” Dylan asked me. “From them…” I said to him and then took a deep breath to add, “Warrior Beasts” I said sharply and curled my fingers into a fist in anger. “Why are they after Lucas?” Mason asked me. “They are not after Lucas. They just attacked him because of me and now Lucas is out there to take reve
Emily’s POV: My eyes swung open as the cool breeze broke into my bedroom through the swaying curtains on the open window and struck my legs which were bare. I glanced at my legs and immediately covered them with a blanket as I was feeling cold. The cool breeze didn’t give in and then struck my face hard and I groaned. “What’s with this wind?” I said in frustration and looked at the window from where the cool breeze was coming in. I immediately glanced at the bedside clock to see the time and it was 6 pm in the evening and it was getting dark outside which explained the reason for that cold breeze. “Oh I slept a lot” I said and slid my fingers through my hair while looking at the window. I stood up and walked towards it and looked at the sky which was in purple, pink and orange colors blending together while far above the purple, the sky was turning blue. “Beautiful…” I adored it and smiled. While looking at the sky I began to think. The first person who crossed my mind was Aiden d
Emily’s POV: I kept praying while the person continued to walk towards me. I couldn’t move, or walk or turn around. “Emily, run” My mind said to me but I couldn’t get my brain to send these signals to my legs so that they can start working. As the steps got closer to me, I could hear them due to the complete silence on the Mile road. I wanted to run and finally I gathered myself up and started running but suddenly someone placed his hand on my waist and grabbed it while I started screaming and he immediately placed his hand on my mouth causing me to stop screaming anymore. I shook my head and moved my legs and hands vigorously to get myself free from his grip but he was strong enough to hold me tightly close to him. I tried to keep screaming, thinking if he would remove his hand for a second then someone might hear me and come for rescue but he kept his hand on my mouth and dragged me back. I thought he would throw me in that black tinted car and take me away, so I started hitting
Emily’s POV: We were on the way to Aria’s house. “Turn on the location and keep your phone in this holder” He said and pointed towards the holder in front. I quickly nodded and turned on the map and placed the phone on the holder. As we passed that scary area of Mile road, I couldn’t help but ask, “Um… Can I ask you something?” “No” He said directly. “But why?” I asked him curiously. “Because I don’t want you to” He said arrogantly. “Please, let me…” I insisted and started, “Did you know something about that?” He took a deep breath and started, “About what?” “About the um, howling thing?” I asked him. “Why do you think I would know something about it?” He asked arrogantly. “Do I look like some dog or coyote to you, who would communicate with those animals and tell you everything about them?” He added bitterly. “No, I didn’t say that” I said and added, “I mean you – you were kind of, you know…” I couldn’t complete what I was trying to say. “What are you trying to say, Dora?”
Aiden’s POV: I kept looking at the Maester and lowered my head for a moment before looking back at him. “I understand that, Maester. But I’d like to respectfully tell you something,” I said and took a step forward, looking into his eyes. “I won’t let anyone hurt her even if it means going against my pack and getting killed. And about me… You can kill me. I don’t mind but I want you to make sure that she would not be bothered again ever in her life.” I added.“What are you saying, Aiden?” Dylan whispered to me bitterly from behind, while I stood confidently in front of the Maester.“We cannot kill you, Aiden,” The Maester. “Now that you’re the alpha, it’s not possible to kill you,” he added and took another step forward. “But that girl…”“That girl should not be harmed. It’d turn me against my community, Maester,” I said sharply and he kept looking at me for a few seconds before looking away.“I heard about the fight. I know how immensely you love that human. But make sure that she st
Dylan’s POV: As Aiden and Austin moved towards each other, I turned to look at Emily and immediately carried her up in my arms to take her to a side. Suddenly, I saw Austin taking a leap towards Emily but Aiden attacked him from behind, digging his nails into Austin’s flesh and he screeched. Austin jumped out of Aiden’s grip and turned around to face him. They both glared into each other’s eyes and then growled before pacing forward and jumped up in the air, grabbing each other. Aiden once again dug his nails into Austin’s back and pulled him down to the ground with a thud after which he bit Austin on his shoulder and he wailed. I could see Aiden’s frustration in his eyes, the way he was biting and scratching Austin. Their fight continued for almost twenty minutes and they both seemed equally strong for each other. Finally, as Austin was injured and stepped down on his knees for a while, Aiden jumped up from behind and grabbed Austin, turning him around and pinning him to the ground.
Aiden’s POV: I kept walking towards Austin’s house while my pack paced ahead of me as I had planned. Suddenly, we heard Emily scream and I halted in my track.“It’s her, right?” Dylan asked me and I clenched my jaws, my eyes welling up.“He’s doing the biggest mistake of his life,” I added bitterly. “He’s going to die horribly,” I added.“Aiden, you need to calm down. She’ll be alright, don’t worry,” Mason said and I took a breath, before proceeding to walk forward. Finally we reached the house and I observed the surroundings closely to check how many wolves were there. I nodded at Dylan who signaled some of our men to go ahead from the left side while some went towards the right with dad leading them. I stood there in the middle, planning my way to kill Austin.Soon after we heard some howls and I realized that everyone there had turned. I was ready to turn too and proceed forward. However, my heart was racing with anxiety as I feared to see Emily. I didn’t want to see her in pain.
Aiden’s POV: He kept looking at me for a few seconds before taking a breath and lowering his head down.“Look, Aiden,” he started, rubbing his forehead with his fingertip. “I know you love her and if anything will happen to her then you’d be devastated. I don’t hate your relationship with her more than I care about you,” he added. “So I am going to come with you. They will help us,” he said confidently.“Us? Are you going to fight Austin with us?” Dylan asked him.“Of course. I cannot let Aiden be alone in this war,” he replied and placed his hand on my shoulder. I couldn’t believe him and kept looking at him wondering if he was the same person who hated my relationship with Emily so much that he wanted to kill her. Now he himself was ready to help me save her life.“Well, thanks. Shall we go now?” I asked and he nodded before we walked away from there.Dylan called everyone from our pack at our land’s clearing and they were quick enough to reach there within half an hour as their Al
Aiden’s POV: My blood was boiling thinking about how Austin managed to take Emily away from me. I promised her that I’d protect her at any cost and I failed. It made me feel disappointed in myself as I had her bracelet clenched in my hand.“Austin won. He took her away,” Lucas said in disappointment. “How the hell are we going to find her?” he added in frustration.“I know how,” I said and reached out for my phone in my pocket while they continued to look at me in confusion.“What are you doing?” Dylan asked me.“Are you calling Austin?” Mason asked as I began to call someone.“Hello,” I said as the person answered the phone. “Phil, did you do it?”“Yes, sir. I have got it,” Phil replied.“Great, where?” I asked.“Sir, I am sending you.” He replied.“Okay,” I said and hung up the call while a small smirk graced my face.“Who did you call?” Dylan asked me and I turned to Lucas.“Austin can never win against me, Luc. No one can,” I told him and he got more confused.“What are you sayin
Melissa’s POV: While dancing slowly with Dylan, I couldn’t help but glance around to see if Emily and Aiden could be seen.“Their meeting is going to last for a long time, I guess,” Dylan said and I blinked my eyes wide, looking at him.“How did you know that I was…?” I started.“I know, worrying about Emily,” he added and I lowered my eyes. “It’s okay. I don’t mind,” he said, smiling.“I am just worrying about how her meeting with Mr. Bill is going. This internship is very important for her. I hope she gets it. But why is this Bill guy taking so much time with each student?” I asked in frustration.“Oh, I am thinking the same,” Aria’s voice reached me as she moved towards me, while dancing slowly with Mason.“Do you think we should go and check on them?” I asked her, moving my hands away from Dylan.“Yes, we can,” Aria agreed.“No you guys cannot. Mr. Martin clearly told us that only those ten students should be around the staircase. He didn’t want any extra crowd there,” Mason poin
Emily’s POV: I was happy and excited to attend the party where I was going to meet Mr. Bill. I felt proud to be on Mr. Martin’s list and realized how my hard work finally paid off after so many years. With a smile on my face, I looked at myself in the mirror as I got dressed in an olive green knee-length A-line dress. The neckline was heart-shaped, and I left my hair loose on my shoulders."Be your best today, Emily," I told myself, taking a deep breath. Suddenly, the door swung open, and Aiden walked in, wearing a black suit with a black shirt and shiny black oxford shoes.“You look…” I stopped there as I adored him from up to down.“Hot?” he asked, walking inside. “Sexy? Handsome?” he asked further and reached my dressing table."Yes, everything you just said," I replied with a smile. "By the way, you've stopped knocking before entering the room since our first night together," I complained."Yep, because now I'm allowed to see you naked. So you can be in any condition, and I can w
Emily’s POV: I couldn't calm my breathing. My body was frozen in place, except for my eyes, which blinked rapidly. Nervousness, anxiety, and excitement washed over me. I recalled Aria's words and realized how wonderful it was to be with him. To feel his hands all over my body. To feel the warmth of his body against mine. To smell his pleasant scent so close. It had been incredible from the beginning when he kissed me to this moment, where I was lying in front of him, my legs spread apart and my chest heaving in anticipation as he held his erection, preparing to enter me.As his erection brushed against my vagina, I flinched and gasped, my heart racing."Relax. Just don't tighten up. Keep yourself loose," he suggested. I gulped and nodded, trusting him completely. With my heart skipping beats, I looked into his eyes as he slid his fingers between mine and moved forward, slowly sliding himself into me."Aah!" I let out a loud cry, moving my head up and grabbing his shoulder with my rig
Emily’s POV: I kept looking into his eyes as he moved his hands down to my waist and pulled me closer, making me gasp and swallow hard."I love you very much," he said, while I kept breathing heavily. "And because I love you, I don't want to rush into anything you're not comfortable with," he added. I blinked widely, realizing how understanding and considerate he was. I felt proud of myself for loving a guy who was selfless and humane, despite being an animal.“I don’t want you to feel any kind of pressure because you’re going through a lot right now. I want you to know that you can feel comfortable around me because we don’t have to do anything right now. It all can wait,” he told me and I blinked my eyes rapidly, feeling more love and passion for the man in front of me.“No,” I started and took a breath, before clenching his sleeves to keep him as close as possible. “I don’t want to wait. And I don’t want you to wait either,” I added and he kept staring into my eyes for a few secon
