Emily’s POV: *A Few Hours Ago* As I gazed at the men gathered in front of my house, my eyes fixated on Freddy, who stood prominently among them. “That's Mr. Kevin's man... He's right there,” I exclaimed aloud, pointing in his direction, instantly drawing Melissa's attention to the scene. “Oh God, we need to go back.” Melissa urged, my heart racing as I contemplated the repercussions of them discovering I was still alive. As Freddy's gaze shifted towards us, panic surged through me, and I grew increasingly restless. “Oh my God, Em... He's looking at us,” Melissa exclaimed anxiously, and I couldn't deny the truth in her words. "Turn the car around, Turn the car!" I urgently instructed the driver. As Freddy widened his eyes at us, our driver acted swiftly, veering the car away. “Please, speed up!” I pleaded, my anxiety growing as I kept a watchful eye on our rearview mirror, searching for any signs of pursuit. To my relief, there was no one behind us. “Aiden’s dad will now get
Aiden’s POV: Dylan continued to drive the car, uncertain about our destination. My mind drew a blank when trying to figure out where Emily might have gone. I had already checked her place, Melissa's, and Aria's, but there was no sign of her. Anxiety gnawed at me, and my heart raced at the thought of her safety. I couldn't help but wonder if Dad's men were pursuing her, if she was in hiding somewhere, alone and frightened. I was clueless about Melissa's whereabouts, and I desperately hoped they were together and safe. Dylan's distressed voice broke my thoughts. "Where should I go now?" he asked. "I don't know, Dylan," I replied, rubbing my forehead, trying to conjure a plan. "My mind is blank right now." Lucas chimed in from the back seat, "Maybe she's left town." "What?" I exclaimed, growing restless. "Why would she leave town?" I asked in frustration, but I couldn't help but consider the possibility. "Maybe Mr. Kevin's men chased her, which could explain why she left town. As A
Melissa’s POV: Emily had been growing stronger day by day since meeting Aiden. I'd never seen her so confident and daring. It made me happy to see her transformation. Regardless of what Aiden was, that man had changed my friend for the better. I could see the fire in her eyes as she stared at the classroom door, waiting for those men to enter. She was prepared to fight back. "Em," I began, gripping her hand and whispering, "We'll fight back together." She looked at me with a hopeful smile. "Yes, we will," she replied, and we clasped our hands together, drawing strength and courage from each other. "Do you think they'll be able to hear us from a distance? I mean they can, right? From a distance?" I asked, confused. She leaned in to respond. "No, they're not werewolves. They're humans," She said, and I realized that we now knew they were not werewolves like Aiden and his friends. "Oh yes," I responded, nodding, as our eyes once again became fixed on the door. Suddenly, we heard f
Aiden’s POV: When I heard Emily's scream, my heart skipped a beat. Although I knew where Emily was at the time, fear had gripped my heart and mind, keeping me frozen in place. It was the first time in my life that I felt genuine fear for Emily's well-being. The thought of her being seriously injured or something terrible happening to her terrified me to the core. I couldn't bear the idea of witnessing something that would haunt me forever. The reason for my fear was simple: I loved her with all my heart, and the mere thought of losing her was unbearable. "Aiden," I felt Dylan grab my hand as I continued to stare into the distance, lost in my thoughts. "Aiden…" he called out again and gave me a gentle shake, snapping me back to reality. I looked at him with wide eyes. "Dylan, it's her. She screamed." I said, my restlessness growing. "I know. Let's go." Dylan exclaimed loudly, but I shook my head, struggling to process the situation. "Aiden, what's happening to you? Let's go!" Mas
When I was running from McKenzie and Freddy through the dark corridors of my school, not really knowing where I was going, I had only one name in my mind: Aiden! I was sure that he would come to my rescue. My heart couldn’t stop trusting him and hoping that he would not let anything happen to me. That was my love for him which gave me that hope and which built up that trust in me. When McKenzie wrapped his arm around my neck, hindering my ability to breathe properly, the hope still lingered in my mind. Although I was suffering and trying hard to breathe, I resisted getting free from his grip and running again, but it was all in vain. It seemed like I was about to die, but I knew I wouldn’t, because he was still alive, and he had promised me that as long as he is alive in this world, he is not going to let anything happen to me, and he fulfilled his promise. As soon as his voice hit my ears, a smile couldn’t hold itself from gracing my face, and tears couldn’t hold back from traveling
Emily's POV: I stood there for a moment, reconsidering my decision to go to Aiden's room. I had no clue if he needed someone with him at this moment, but I could only recall how he had always been there for me when I needed him the most. He never held back from protecting me or offering the support I needed. I wanted to reciprocate that for him. I wanted to show him that he was loved. I wanted to tell him that I would always care for him and be there for him. Taking a deep breath, I walked toward the staircase, my heart racing. As I climbed the stairs and approached his room, I stood by his door and took another breath. He must have realized I was standing outside his room because he could hear my footsteps and even my breath from a distance. I raised my hand to the door and knocked, waiting for a response, but there was none. "Aiden..." I softly called out and knocked again. "Aiden, can I come in, please?" I asked, but there was still no answer. "Aiden, are you in there?" I aske
Aiden's POV: “What?” Emily was shocked upon the revelation, and it was justified. I had revealed something so shocking to her that she couldn't believe it. I couldn't believe it either when I watched it happening in front of me. “Yes, she killed herself. In this place. In front of me.” I repeated, and she kept looking at me in disbelief, while I stared straight ahead into the woods. It was dark there. Nothing could be seen, but I could see every moment of that incident in that darkness. I was reliving everything that happened that day. “Aiden, how – how is it, I mean…” She started in confusion and then added, “But you said your father killed her then…” “Yes, she died because of him.” I added and took a breath as I still couldn't bear it after so many decades. “But – but how? I mean what happened?” She grew restless, and I took a breath, lowering my head. Soon, tears began to leave my eyes and dropped down to my knees while Emily immediately placed her hand on my shoulder, pressi
Aiden’s POV: Emily kept looking at me in shock while I lowered my eyes down realizing how appalled she must have been upon hearing this. “A human?” She asked in disbelief, her eyes blinking rapidly. “Yes, just like you,” I started and looked her in the eye. “Pure, innocent, beautiful and loving,” I started and then continued with a smile on my face and her hands in mine, “She was as compassionate as you. She had empathy. She was caring. She had integrity. She was scared before, like you were… From all this. But then she became strong and confident. She was exactly like you, Emily.” I added to her and she kept looking at me, still in disbelief. “But – then how, I mean how you are a werewolf…?” She started in confusion. “That’s what was strange. I got everything from my father except from my looks. I got his anger, his powers, his abilities and his nature. Just like him, I also fell in love with a human.” I told her. “If your dad loved your mom so much then why was he stressing o
Aiden’s POV: I kept looking at the Maester and lowered my head for a moment before looking back at him. “I understand that, Maester. But I’d like to respectfully tell you something,” I said and took a step forward, looking into his eyes. “I won’t let anyone hurt her even if it means going against my pack and getting killed. And about me… You can kill me. I don’t mind but I want you to make sure that she would not be bothered again ever in her life.” I added.“What are you saying, Aiden?” Dylan whispered to me bitterly from behind, while I stood confidently in front of the Maester.“We cannot kill you, Aiden,” The Maester. “Now that you’re the alpha, it’s not possible to kill you,” he added and took another step forward. “But that girl…”“That girl should not be harmed. It’d turn me against my community, Maester,” I said sharply and he kept looking at me for a few seconds before looking away.“I heard about the fight. I know how immensely you love that human. But make sure that she st
Dylan’s POV: As Aiden and Austin moved towards each other, I turned to look at Emily and immediately carried her up in my arms to take her to a side. Suddenly, I saw Austin taking a leap towards Emily but Aiden attacked him from behind, digging his nails into Austin’s flesh and he screeched. Austin jumped out of Aiden’s grip and turned around to face him. They both glared into each other’s eyes and then growled before pacing forward and jumped up in the air, grabbing each other. Aiden once again dug his nails into Austin’s back and pulled him down to the ground with a thud after which he bit Austin on his shoulder and he wailed. I could see Aiden’s frustration in his eyes, the way he was biting and scratching Austin. Their fight continued for almost twenty minutes and they both seemed equally strong for each other. Finally, as Austin was injured and stepped down on his knees for a while, Aiden jumped up from behind and grabbed Austin, turning him around and pinning him to the ground.
Aiden’s POV: I kept walking towards Austin’s house while my pack paced ahead of me as I had planned. Suddenly, we heard Emily scream and I halted in my track.“It’s her, right?” Dylan asked me and I clenched my jaws, my eyes welling up.“He’s doing the biggest mistake of his life,” I added bitterly. “He’s going to die horribly,” I added.“Aiden, you need to calm down. She’ll be alright, don’t worry,” Mason said and I took a breath, before proceeding to walk forward. Finally we reached the house and I observed the surroundings closely to check how many wolves were there. I nodded at Dylan who signaled some of our men to go ahead from the left side while some went towards the right with dad leading them. I stood there in the middle, planning my way to kill Austin.Soon after we heard some howls and I realized that everyone there had turned. I was ready to turn too and proceed forward. However, my heart was racing with anxiety as I feared to see Emily. I didn’t want to see her in pain.
Aiden’s POV: He kept looking at me for a few seconds before taking a breath and lowering his head down.“Look, Aiden,” he started, rubbing his forehead with his fingertip. “I know you love her and if anything will happen to her then you’d be devastated. I don’t hate your relationship with her more than I care about you,” he added. “So I am going to come with you. They will help us,” he said confidently.“Us? Are you going to fight Austin with us?” Dylan asked him.“Of course. I cannot let Aiden be alone in this war,” he replied and placed his hand on my shoulder. I couldn’t believe him and kept looking at him wondering if he was the same person who hated my relationship with Emily so much that he wanted to kill her. Now he himself was ready to help me save her life.“Well, thanks. Shall we go now?” I asked and he nodded before we walked away from there.Dylan called everyone from our pack at our land’s clearing and they were quick enough to reach there within half an hour as their Al
Aiden’s POV: My blood was boiling thinking about how Austin managed to take Emily away from me. I promised her that I’d protect her at any cost and I failed. It made me feel disappointed in myself as I had her bracelet clenched in my hand.“Austin won. He took her away,” Lucas said in disappointment. “How the hell are we going to find her?” he added in frustration.“I know how,” I said and reached out for my phone in my pocket while they continued to look at me in confusion.“What are you doing?” Dylan asked me.“Are you calling Austin?” Mason asked as I began to call someone.“Hello,” I said as the person answered the phone. “Phil, did you do it?”“Yes, sir. I have got it,” Phil replied.“Great, where?” I asked.“Sir, I am sending you.” He replied.“Okay,” I said and hung up the call while a small smirk graced my face.“Who did you call?” Dylan asked me and I turned to Lucas.“Austin can never win against me, Luc. No one can,” I told him and he got more confused.“What are you sayin
Melissa’s POV: While dancing slowly with Dylan, I couldn’t help but glance around to see if Emily and Aiden could be seen.“Their meeting is going to last for a long time, I guess,” Dylan said and I blinked my eyes wide, looking at him.“How did you know that I was…?” I started.“I know, worrying about Emily,” he added and I lowered my eyes. “It’s okay. I don’t mind,” he said, smiling.“I am just worrying about how her meeting with Mr. Bill is going. This internship is very important for her. I hope she gets it. But why is this Bill guy taking so much time with each student?” I asked in frustration.“Oh, I am thinking the same,” Aria’s voice reached me as she moved towards me, while dancing slowly with Mason.“Do you think we should go and check on them?” I asked her, moving my hands away from Dylan.“Yes, we can,” Aria agreed.“No you guys cannot. Mr. Martin clearly told us that only those ten students should be around the staircase. He didn’t want any extra crowd there,” Mason poin
Emily’s POV: I was happy and excited to attend the party where I was going to meet Mr. Bill. I felt proud to be on Mr. Martin’s list and realized how my hard work finally paid off after so many years. With a smile on my face, I looked at myself in the mirror as I got dressed in an olive green knee-length A-line dress. The neckline was heart-shaped, and I left my hair loose on my shoulders."Be your best today, Emily," I told myself, taking a deep breath. Suddenly, the door swung open, and Aiden walked in, wearing a black suit with a black shirt and shiny black oxford shoes.“You look…” I stopped there as I adored him from up to down.“Hot?” he asked, walking inside. “Sexy? Handsome?” he asked further and reached my dressing table."Yes, everything you just said," I replied with a smile. "By the way, you've stopped knocking before entering the room since our first night together," I complained."Yep, because now I'm allowed to see you naked. So you can be in any condition, and I can w
Emily’s POV: I couldn't calm my breathing. My body was frozen in place, except for my eyes, which blinked rapidly. Nervousness, anxiety, and excitement washed over me. I recalled Aria's words and realized how wonderful it was to be with him. To feel his hands all over my body. To feel the warmth of his body against mine. To smell his pleasant scent so close. It had been incredible from the beginning when he kissed me to this moment, where I was lying in front of him, my legs spread apart and my chest heaving in anticipation as he held his erection, preparing to enter me.As his erection brushed against my vagina, I flinched and gasped, my heart racing."Relax. Just don't tighten up. Keep yourself loose," he suggested. I gulped and nodded, trusting him completely. With my heart skipping beats, I looked into his eyes as he slid his fingers between mine and moved forward, slowly sliding himself into me."Aah!" I let out a loud cry, moving my head up and grabbing his shoulder with my rig
Emily’s POV: I kept looking into his eyes as he moved his hands down to my waist and pulled me closer, making me gasp and swallow hard."I love you very much," he said, while I kept breathing heavily. "And because I love you, I don't want to rush into anything you're not comfortable with," he added. I blinked widely, realizing how understanding and considerate he was. I felt proud of myself for loving a guy who was selfless and humane, despite being an animal.“I don’t want you to feel any kind of pressure because you’re going through a lot right now. I want you to know that you can feel comfortable around me because we don’t have to do anything right now. It all can wait,” he told me and I blinked my eyes rapidly, feeling more love and passion for the man in front of me.“No,” I started and took a breath, before clenching his sleeves to keep him as close as possible. “I don’t want to wait. And I don’t want you to wait either,” I added and he kept staring into my eyes for a few secon
