Aiden’s POV: Melissa stared at me in shock as I confessed something she couldn't even believe I was capable of doing. I could sense what she must have been thinking at that moment - seeing me as a monster who tried to kill the person I loved. Overwhelmed with guilt, I couldn't help but lower my face. "Wait - What?" She asked, her eyes unblinking. Taking a deep breath, I waited as anger filled her gaze before she spoke again, "How could you do this to her?" "Melissa..." Dylan began, reaching out to hold her hand from behind. She pulled her hand away abruptly, her eyes still fixed on me. "How... How can you do this, Aiden? She loved you..." Melissa's voice echoed with disbelief, while I remained silent, my face filled with guilt. "She loved you with all her heart... She... she loved you even after learning the truth about you, and you did this to her?" Melissa continued, her eyes filled with resentment. "Melissa, listen to me..." Dylan's voice came from behind. "No..." She said
Aiden's POV: I decided to have the ceremony soon so that I could become the alpha and protect Emily against my dad. It was crucial now. Dad wanted Emily to die because he didn't want me to love a human girl, as it would make me break the rules of our community. But love is greater than everything. I couldn't back off now because I was deeply in love with her, and I was ready to do anything or fight anyone for that. "Will your dad let you become the alpha so soon?" Dylan asked me inquisitively. "He has to. It was a rule, right? Whenever my curse would be lifted, the ceremony must take place soon after, granting me the rights of an alpha" I reminded them. "Yes... It was a rule" Mason agreed. "So I am going to claim what's rightfully mine – my position as an alpha" I said confidently. "But... he's your dad? How can you take that position from him like that?" Melissa asked, confused. "Because it's my right. And my dad never thought that I am his son when he's doing something agains
Aiden's POV: "What do you mean by that?" I asked Dad when he informed me that the ceremony would not happen. "I mean exactly what you heard" Dad replied, taking a sip from his wine. I could feel my anger rising once again. He always knew how to make me angry. Despite my efforts to stay calm and not get frustrated, his actions would awaken the monster inside me. I took a breath to calm myself before continuing, "Why won't the ceremony happen?" "But what's the rush?" Dad asked nonchalantly. "What's the rush? Really?" I placed my hands on my waist and continued, "You rushed the curse-breaking ritual. You made me kill the girl I love. You were rushing everything yourself, and now you don't want the ceremony to happen so soon?" "I didn't say the ceremony won't happen. I said it's not going to happen tonight as you requested" Dad clarified, and I understood why he was saying that. "And why is that?" I tried to maintain my composure. "Because I would like to see that girl's body firs
Aiden’s POV: I was delighted to hear Maester's decision to hold the ceremony that night. I was prepared to become the alpha and fight for my love. I was determined to prove to my father that I had won this time. "Thank you, Maester" I replied politely. "But I don't understand one thing, Aiden" The Maester added. "Why does your father not want to have this ceremony right away? Why is he delaying it?" I took a breath and responded, "I suppose it's all about power, Maester. He has held the position of alpha for over a century, and he finds it difficult to pass it on to me." "That's peculiar because he was quite eager for this curse to be lifted" The Maester said suspiciously. "I know. He was. But giving up the position of alpha is not easy, especially to someone younger than you" I explained. "Yeah, well, Aiden, it had to be this way. Your grandpa was an alpha of your pack, and he completed his century of rule, passing the position to your father. Now, it has been over a century
Aiden’s POV: During our wonderful moment together, I couldn't resist kissing him incessantly. I desired more of him, wanting him all to myself, as it felt like a miracle. It was surreal to be alive and engaged in a kiss with him, considering he was meant to kill me in the ritual. At the time of ritual, when he approached me, I saw the awakening of the inner animal within him, with no intention of retreating. It attacked me, and as blood oozed from my body, leaving me drained, I never expected to come back to life after that. It was a shocking realization, and I wanted answers from Aiden about how it happened. However, when I asked, he just stared at me without saying a word. "Aiden?" I began, trying to meet his gaze while he gazed into the distance. "Are you okay?" I inquired, placing my hands on his arm to bring his attention back to me. "Yeah, I'm fine" He replied, looking down and avoiding eye contact. "Aiden, what's going on?" I pressed, noticing his hesitation to speak. "No
Emily’s POV: I stared at Aiden in shock, my heart momentarily ceasing its beating as I tried to process the news. It was both shocking and distressing. I couldn't believe that someone else's life had been sacrificed to save mine. I never wanted that. I could never even think or imagine hurting someone for my own sake. As Aiden looked down and took a breath, I continued to gaze at him, wondering how he could take the life of an innocent person to protect me. I knew he loved me, and he had done it out of love, but it didn't justify his actions. "What?" I started, shocked, and he couldn't meet my gaze. "Aiden, you - you killed them to save me?" I asked again, hoping for a different answer this time. "Yes, Emily" He confessed, and I gulped in disbelief. "How could you do this, Aiden...?" I raised my voice, becoming restless, while the drip on my hand stretched, causing me to groan in pain. "Emily, you'll hurt yourself" Aiden immediately said, attempting to hold my hand in place. "I
Aiden's POV:"What... what did you just do?" Dylan asked me as we exited the room. I couldn't believe I had unleashed my monstrous side in front of her, and I kept rubbing my head in shock."Aiden, you never behaved around her like this before," Mason reminded me, and I found myself unable to respond or face them."Aiden..." Dylan called out, turning me to face him. I remained in shock, staring off into the distance. "Are you okay, man?" he inquired further."I... I can't..." I began, blinking rapidly and taking a deep breath. "I can't believe what I..." I trailed off, trying to recall everything that had transpired in that room. Then I turned to look at Dylan, grabbing his arm, and in shock, I added, "Dylan... I was a monster in there.""It's okay, calm down first," he reassured me, but I shook my head in disbelief."What just happened to me?" I asked him in frustration, my mind racing."Maybe your curse is now broken, and you transformed. It is something new in your life," Dylan tri
Aiden's POV: I arrived at the ceremony location as Maester called us to explain everything about what was going to happen and how I would become an alpha. As we stood by the tree trunk in the clearing, waiting for Maester to arrive, I suddenly felt the need to check on Emily. I immediately took out my phone and tried calling Melissa, but her phone was switched off. Anxiety gripped me, and I stood up straight, attempting to call her again, but her phone remained unresponsive. "Why is her phone switched off?" I wondered aloud, looking up to see Dylan walking towards me with a sense of urgency. "Who are you trying to call?" Dylan asked inquisitively. "Melissa... I wanted to ask about Emily. But her phone is switched off," I informed him, and he furrowed his eyebrows, taking out his own phone to call Melissa. After a few seconds, he lowered his phone and looked at me with confusion. "Why is her phone switched off?" he asked, and I let out a frustrated sigh. "That's precisely what I
Aiden’s POV: I kept looking at the Maester and lowered my head for a moment before looking back at him. “I understand that, Maester. But I’d like to respectfully tell you something,” I said and took a step forward, looking into his eyes. “I won’t let anyone hurt her even if it means going against my pack and getting killed. And about me… You can kill me. I don’t mind but I want you to make sure that she would not be bothered again ever in her life.” I added.“What are you saying, Aiden?” Dylan whispered to me bitterly from behind, while I stood confidently in front of the Maester.“We cannot kill you, Aiden,” The Maester. “Now that you’re the alpha, it’s not possible to kill you,” he added and took another step forward. “But that girl…”“That girl should not be harmed. It’d turn me against my community, Maester,” I said sharply and he kept looking at me for a few seconds before looking away.“I heard about the fight. I know how immensely you love that human. But make sure that she st
Dylan’s POV: As Aiden and Austin moved towards each other, I turned to look at Emily and immediately carried her up in my arms to take her to a side. Suddenly, I saw Austin taking a leap towards Emily but Aiden attacked him from behind, digging his nails into Austin’s flesh and he screeched. Austin jumped out of Aiden’s grip and turned around to face him. They both glared into each other’s eyes and then growled before pacing forward and jumped up in the air, grabbing each other. Aiden once again dug his nails into Austin’s back and pulled him down to the ground with a thud after which he bit Austin on his shoulder and he wailed. I could see Aiden’s frustration in his eyes, the way he was biting and scratching Austin. Their fight continued for almost twenty minutes and they both seemed equally strong for each other. Finally, as Austin was injured and stepped down on his knees for a while, Aiden jumped up from behind and grabbed Austin, turning him around and pinning him to the ground.
Aiden’s POV: I kept walking towards Austin’s house while my pack paced ahead of me as I had planned. Suddenly, we heard Emily scream and I halted in my track.“It’s her, right?” Dylan asked me and I clenched my jaws, my eyes welling up.“He’s doing the biggest mistake of his life,” I added bitterly. “He’s going to die horribly,” I added.“Aiden, you need to calm down. She’ll be alright, don’t worry,” Mason said and I took a breath, before proceeding to walk forward. Finally we reached the house and I observed the surroundings closely to check how many wolves were there. I nodded at Dylan who signaled some of our men to go ahead from the left side while some went towards the right with dad leading them. I stood there in the middle, planning my way to kill Austin.Soon after we heard some howls and I realized that everyone there had turned. I was ready to turn too and proceed forward. However, my heart was racing with anxiety as I feared to see Emily. I didn’t want to see her in pain.
Aiden’s POV: He kept looking at me for a few seconds before taking a breath and lowering his head down.“Look, Aiden,” he started, rubbing his forehead with his fingertip. “I know you love her and if anything will happen to her then you’d be devastated. I don’t hate your relationship with her more than I care about you,” he added. “So I am going to come with you. They will help us,” he said confidently.“Us? Are you going to fight Austin with us?” Dylan asked him.“Of course. I cannot let Aiden be alone in this war,” he replied and placed his hand on my shoulder. I couldn’t believe him and kept looking at him wondering if he was the same person who hated my relationship with Emily so much that he wanted to kill her. Now he himself was ready to help me save her life.“Well, thanks. Shall we go now?” I asked and he nodded before we walked away from there.Dylan called everyone from our pack at our land’s clearing and they were quick enough to reach there within half an hour as their Al
Aiden’s POV: My blood was boiling thinking about how Austin managed to take Emily away from me. I promised her that I’d protect her at any cost and I failed. It made me feel disappointed in myself as I had her bracelet clenched in my hand.“Austin won. He took her away,” Lucas said in disappointment. “How the hell are we going to find her?” he added in frustration.“I know how,” I said and reached out for my phone in my pocket while they continued to look at me in confusion.“What are you doing?” Dylan asked me.“Are you calling Austin?” Mason asked as I began to call someone.“Hello,” I said as the person answered the phone. “Phil, did you do it?”“Yes, sir. I have got it,” Phil replied.“Great, where?” I asked.“Sir, I am sending you.” He replied.“Okay,” I said and hung up the call while a small smirk graced my face.“Who did you call?” Dylan asked me and I turned to Lucas.“Austin can never win against me, Luc. No one can,” I told him and he got more confused.“What are you sayin
Melissa’s POV: While dancing slowly with Dylan, I couldn’t help but glance around to see if Emily and Aiden could be seen.“Their meeting is going to last for a long time, I guess,” Dylan said and I blinked my eyes wide, looking at him.“How did you know that I was…?” I started.“I know, worrying about Emily,” he added and I lowered my eyes. “It’s okay. I don’t mind,” he said, smiling.“I am just worrying about how her meeting with Mr. Bill is going. This internship is very important for her. I hope she gets it. But why is this Bill guy taking so much time with each student?” I asked in frustration.“Oh, I am thinking the same,” Aria’s voice reached me as she moved towards me, while dancing slowly with Mason.“Do you think we should go and check on them?” I asked her, moving my hands away from Dylan.“Yes, we can,” Aria agreed.“No you guys cannot. Mr. Martin clearly told us that only those ten students should be around the staircase. He didn’t want any extra crowd there,” Mason poin
Emily’s POV: I was happy and excited to attend the party where I was going to meet Mr. Bill. I felt proud to be on Mr. Martin’s list and realized how my hard work finally paid off after so many years. With a smile on my face, I looked at myself in the mirror as I got dressed in an olive green knee-length A-line dress. The neckline was heart-shaped, and I left my hair loose on my shoulders."Be your best today, Emily," I told myself, taking a deep breath. Suddenly, the door swung open, and Aiden walked in, wearing a black suit with a black shirt and shiny black oxford shoes.“You look…” I stopped there as I adored him from up to down.“Hot?” he asked, walking inside. “Sexy? Handsome?” he asked further and reached my dressing table."Yes, everything you just said," I replied with a smile. "By the way, you've stopped knocking before entering the room since our first night together," I complained."Yep, because now I'm allowed to see you naked. So you can be in any condition, and I can w
Emily’s POV: I couldn't calm my breathing. My body was frozen in place, except for my eyes, which blinked rapidly. Nervousness, anxiety, and excitement washed over me. I recalled Aria's words and realized how wonderful it was to be with him. To feel his hands all over my body. To feel the warmth of his body against mine. To smell his pleasant scent so close. It had been incredible from the beginning when he kissed me to this moment, where I was lying in front of him, my legs spread apart and my chest heaving in anticipation as he held his erection, preparing to enter me.As his erection brushed against my vagina, I flinched and gasped, my heart racing."Relax. Just don't tighten up. Keep yourself loose," he suggested. I gulped and nodded, trusting him completely. With my heart skipping beats, I looked into his eyes as he slid his fingers between mine and moved forward, slowly sliding himself into me."Aah!" I let out a loud cry, moving my head up and grabbing his shoulder with my rig
Emily’s POV: I kept looking into his eyes as he moved his hands down to my waist and pulled me closer, making me gasp and swallow hard."I love you very much," he said, while I kept breathing heavily. "And because I love you, I don't want to rush into anything you're not comfortable with," he added. I blinked widely, realizing how understanding and considerate he was. I felt proud of myself for loving a guy who was selfless and humane, despite being an animal.“I don’t want you to feel any kind of pressure because you’re going through a lot right now. I want you to know that you can feel comfortable around me because we don’t have to do anything right now. It all can wait,” he told me and I blinked my eyes rapidly, feeling more love and passion for the man in front of me.“No,” I started and took a breath, before clenching his sleeves to keep him as close as possible. “I don’t want to wait. And I don’t want you to wait either,” I added and he kept staring into my eyes for a few secon
