Aiden’s POV: Dylan’s gaze fixated on me while Lucas and Mason also turned to look at me in shock. I stood there, feeling the animal inside of me taking out all the frustration on my friends. “What?” Dylan managed to speak and then looked at me in disbelief before adding further, “What did you just say?” “You heard me” I answered sharply and glared at him while he shook his head in disappointment and reached out his palms to touch my shoulders and push me back. “What the hell is wrong with you, Aiden…?” Dylan said loudly while I kept glaring at him as Lucas held me from behind. “Are you crazy? Do you even know what you are saying…?” Dylan shouted in frustration while I breathed heavily in anger. “Then why did you tell her everything? You clearly became a hero in her eyes. A good guy. The nice one…” I shouted and leaned forward to add bitterly, “Well I am once again the bad guy…” “I didn’t want you to become the bad guy, Aiden and that’s why I tried to make you understand first.
Aiden’s POV: I kept gazing at her as she lay unconscious in my arms, her eyes closed and her hands hanging limply. I felt an overwhelming sense of guilt for subjecting her to this situation. Never did I imagine that I would one day find myself kidnapping the girl I love, taking her far away from her life. I knew how much her friends and family meant to her, and given her caring nature, I understood her concern for them. However, I couldn't allow her to remain in that town and sacrifice herself for the ritual. I knew I couldn't bring myself to kill her in order to lift my curse. My father would have taken that responsibility, and as a cursed wolf, I would have been powerless to protect her from him. Eventually, she would have perished. Therefore, I had to defy everyone, including my friends and Emily, solely for her safety. After observing her for a while, I tenderly caressed her cheek, cherishing her tranquility. I longed to kiss her and hold her tightly, assuring her that everyth
Emily’s POV: I stared at Aiden in horror, unable to look away as his dad's words shook me. I couldn't believe that man. Initially, I considered the possibility that he was truly cruel and ruthless, just as Aiden had described him. However, in that moment, I also came to understand him. I could feel the desperation in his words, his overwhelming desire to have the curse lifted from Aiden. It was clear that he yearned for his son to become an alpha, just as I had wanted him to be. I couldn't blame him for caring for his loved ones, as I was doing the same. Although his methods were unquestionably wrong, his intentions were justified. Every parent desires the best for their children, and he was no exception. He was simply being a father, fulfilling the responsibilities he was meant to undertake but Aiden wasn’t ready to understand that. “What the hell? How can you kill them, dad? How can you even think of doing this? You loved them…” Aiden argued with his dad while I looked at him anx
Emily’s POV: We settled into the car and Aiden assumed control of the wheel, initiating our journey. As we made a U-turn on our way back home, I noticed Aiden's eyes blinking rapidly, his desperate attempt to hold back tears. Suppressing a lump in my throat, I joined him by blinking rapidly and then gazing out the window. Suddenly, the car's speed began to decrease until it came to a halt. I turned to Aiden, who gripped the steering wheel and shook his head. "I can't do this... I can't take you back" He uttered, and I immediately reached out to hold his hand. "Aiden, please calm down... You're making the right decision" I assured him, my heart burdened with sorrow. Asking someone to take me to a place where I knew my life would end was exceedingly difficult, but it was necessary to protect Aiden's friends from the harm inflicted by his father. I was aware that his father would stop at nothing to manipulate Aiden into doing his bidding, resorting to threats against his friends beca
Emily’s POV: An hour had already elapsed since I found myself alone in that room. Mr. Kevin's man dragged me to the corner of the hall and into a room after which he locked the door from the outside. I screamed and pounded on the door, pleading to be released, promising not to run away again, but no one listened. I wondered where Aiden had gone after they confined me to that room. I hadn't heard him arguing with his father or attempting to reach me. He had disappeared somewhere, and I couldn't help but wonder about his whereabouts because I dreaded the thought of dying at the hands of Mr. Kevin. I only wanted Aiden to end my life and get himself free from that curse. The room I was confined to appeared old and bare, with only a worn-out bed I sat upon and a solitary chair in the corner. There was a small, grimy window in the room, securely locked. However, I stood up from the bed and approached it. Brushing away some dust, I managed to peer outside and noticed that darkness had fal
Aiden’s POV: I walked out of the house while they followed me behind. I knew dad would be wondering about who called me and where I was going but I didn’t bother to explain to him anything then. I just wanted to go. “Aiden, where are we going?” Dylan asked me from behind as I was walking towards my car. I turned around immediately and looked at him in confusion. “You are coming with me?” I asked him. “Of course…” He said and looked down before adding further, “Look, I…” “Wait, here me out first” I interrupted and took a deep breath before adding, “I was wrong. I shouldn’t have accused you for that” As he looked away, I started again, “I knew you had no such intentions for Emily. I was just – just angry at that moment. Frustrated. I wasn’t thinking straight and so I took it out all on you…” As he looked at me, I continued, “I shouldn’t have done this… And I can understand what your point was. It was just my…” “I know…” He said and placed his hand on my shoulder before adding, “
Emily’s POV: My heart skipped a beat when Mason informed us that Aiden was ready to kill me in order to lift the curse. I felt relieved that he had agreed to do what I wanted, sparing me from dying at the hands of Mr. Kevin. However, deep down in my heart, I was terrified. I couldn't comprehend the moment when he would carry out the act. Once again, I found myself envisioning his sharp teeth and claws piercing my skin, draining my blood and tearing into my flesh. The mere thought was horrifying, yet it was about to become a reality in a matter of minutes. I could already imagine myself screaming at the top of my lungs from the excruciating pain, gripping Aiden's hands tightly as he would hold me. I could envision my father and friends weeping at my funeral, delivering speeches about what a good person I was. I could see Aiden breaking down in tears for what he did to me, enduring that trauma. However, all of this was accompanied by the assurance that Aiden's curse would be lifted,
Emily’s POV: I trembled uncontrollably as Aiden slowly approached me, his eyes filled with rage and a primal craving for blood and flesh. His face resembled that of a monstrous creature, and he growled menacingly. It felt as though my heart had ceased beating a while ago. My hands turned icy cold, and a numbness spread through them. I couldn't tear my eyes away from the predator that advanced toward me with hunger in its gaze. Strange as it may seem, this was what I had desired. I had urged Aiden to free himself from the curse by taking my life, but fear overwhelmed me, causing me to take a step back. Dylan and Mason immediately turned their gaze towards me, their expressions puzzled, as they were aware that Aiden was acting upon my request. I couldn't explain to them the involuntary movements my body was making as I looked at the wolfish figure in front of me. It felt as though it wasn't Aiden approaching; it seemed like he didn't recognize his Emily standing before him. All he see
Aiden’s POV: I kept looking at the Maester and lowered my head for a moment before looking back at him. “I understand that, Maester. But I’d like to respectfully tell you something,” I said and took a step forward, looking into his eyes. “I won’t let anyone hurt her even if it means going against my pack and getting killed. And about me… You can kill me. I don’t mind but I want you to make sure that she would not be bothered again ever in her life.” I added.“What are you saying, Aiden?” Dylan whispered to me bitterly from behind, while I stood confidently in front of the Maester.“We cannot kill you, Aiden,” The Maester. “Now that you’re the alpha, it’s not possible to kill you,” he added and took another step forward. “But that girl…”“That girl should not be harmed. It’d turn me against my community, Maester,” I said sharply and he kept looking at me for a few seconds before looking away.“I heard about the fight. I know how immensely you love that human. But make sure that she st
Dylan’s POV: As Aiden and Austin moved towards each other, I turned to look at Emily and immediately carried her up in my arms to take her to a side. Suddenly, I saw Austin taking a leap towards Emily but Aiden attacked him from behind, digging his nails into Austin’s flesh and he screeched. Austin jumped out of Aiden’s grip and turned around to face him. They both glared into each other’s eyes and then growled before pacing forward and jumped up in the air, grabbing each other. Aiden once again dug his nails into Austin’s back and pulled him down to the ground with a thud after which he bit Austin on his shoulder and he wailed. I could see Aiden’s frustration in his eyes, the way he was biting and scratching Austin. Their fight continued for almost twenty minutes and they both seemed equally strong for each other. Finally, as Austin was injured and stepped down on his knees for a while, Aiden jumped up from behind and grabbed Austin, turning him around and pinning him to the ground.
Aiden’s POV: I kept walking towards Austin’s house while my pack paced ahead of me as I had planned. Suddenly, we heard Emily scream and I halted in my track.“It’s her, right?” Dylan asked me and I clenched my jaws, my eyes welling up.“He’s doing the biggest mistake of his life,” I added bitterly. “He’s going to die horribly,” I added.“Aiden, you need to calm down. She’ll be alright, don’t worry,” Mason said and I took a breath, before proceeding to walk forward. Finally we reached the house and I observed the surroundings closely to check how many wolves were there. I nodded at Dylan who signaled some of our men to go ahead from the left side while some went towards the right with dad leading them. I stood there in the middle, planning my way to kill Austin.Soon after we heard some howls and I realized that everyone there had turned. I was ready to turn too and proceed forward. However, my heart was racing with anxiety as I feared to see Emily. I didn’t want to see her in pain.
Aiden’s POV: He kept looking at me for a few seconds before taking a breath and lowering his head down.“Look, Aiden,” he started, rubbing his forehead with his fingertip. “I know you love her and if anything will happen to her then you’d be devastated. I don’t hate your relationship with her more than I care about you,” he added. “So I am going to come with you. They will help us,” he said confidently.“Us? Are you going to fight Austin with us?” Dylan asked him.“Of course. I cannot let Aiden be alone in this war,” he replied and placed his hand on my shoulder. I couldn’t believe him and kept looking at him wondering if he was the same person who hated my relationship with Emily so much that he wanted to kill her. Now he himself was ready to help me save her life.“Well, thanks. Shall we go now?” I asked and he nodded before we walked away from there.Dylan called everyone from our pack at our land’s clearing and they were quick enough to reach there within half an hour as their Al
Aiden’s POV: My blood was boiling thinking about how Austin managed to take Emily away from me. I promised her that I’d protect her at any cost and I failed. It made me feel disappointed in myself as I had her bracelet clenched in my hand.“Austin won. He took her away,” Lucas said in disappointment. “How the hell are we going to find her?” he added in frustration.“I know how,” I said and reached out for my phone in my pocket while they continued to look at me in confusion.“What are you doing?” Dylan asked me.“Are you calling Austin?” Mason asked as I began to call someone.“Hello,” I said as the person answered the phone. “Phil, did you do it?”“Yes, sir. I have got it,” Phil replied.“Great, where?” I asked.“Sir, I am sending you.” He replied.“Okay,” I said and hung up the call while a small smirk graced my face.“Who did you call?” Dylan asked me and I turned to Lucas.“Austin can never win against me, Luc. No one can,” I told him and he got more confused.“What are you sayin
Melissa’s POV: While dancing slowly with Dylan, I couldn’t help but glance around to see if Emily and Aiden could be seen.“Their meeting is going to last for a long time, I guess,” Dylan said and I blinked my eyes wide, looking at him.“How did you know that I was…?” I started.“I know, worrying about Emily,” he added and I lowered my eyes. “It’s okay. I don’t mind,” he said, smiling.“I am just worrying about how her meeting with Mr. Bill is going. This internship is very important for her. I hope she gets it. But why is this Bill guy taking so much time with each student?” I asked in frustration.“Oh, I am thinking the same,” Aria’s voice reached me as she moved towards me, while dancing slowly with Mason.“Do you think we should go and check on them?” I asked her, moving my hands away from Dylan.“Yes, we can,” Aria agreed.“No you guys cannot. Mr. Martin clearly told us that only those ten students should be around the staircase. He didn’t want any extra crowd there,” Mason poin
Emily’s POV: I was happy and excited to attend the party where I was going to meet Mr. Bill. I felt proud to be on Mr. Martin’s list and realized how my hard work finally paid off after so many years. With a smile on my face, I looked at myself in the mirror as I got dressed in an olive green knee-length A-line dress. The neckline was heart-shaped, and I left my hair loose on my shoulders."Be your best today, Emily," I told myself, taking a deep breath. Suddenly, the door swung open, and Aiden walked in, wearing a black suit with a black shirt and shiny black oxford shoes.“You look…” I stopped there as I adored him from up to down.“Hot?” he asked, walking inside. “Sexy? Handsome?” he asked further and reached my dressing table."Yes, everything you just said," I replied with a smile. "By the way, you've stopped knocking before entering the room since our first night together," I complained."Yep, because now I'm allowed to see you naked. So you can be in any condition, and I can w
Emily’s POV: I couldn't calm my breathing. My body was frozen in place, except for my eyes, which blinked rapidly. Nervousness, anxiety, and excitement washed over me. I recalled Aria's words and realized how wonderful it was to be with him. To feel his hands all over my body. To feel the warmth of his body against mine. To smell his pleasant scent so close. It had been incredible from the beginning when he kissed me to this moment, where I was lying in front of him, my legs spread apart and my chest heaving in anticipation as he held his erection, preparing to enter me.As his erection brushed against my vagina, I flinched and gasped, my heart racing."Relax. Just don't tighten up. Keep yourself loose," he suggested. I gulped and nodded, trusting him completely. With my heart skipping beats, I looked into his eyes as he slid his fingers between mine and moved forward, slowly sliding himself into me."Aah!" I let out a loud cry, moving my head up and grabbing his shoulder with my rig
Emily’s POV: I kept looking into his eyes as he moved his hands down to my waist and pulled me closer, making me gasp and swallow hard."I love you very much," he said, while I kept breathing heavily. "And because I love you, I don't want to rush into anything you're not comfortable with," he added. I blinked widely, realizing how understanding and considerate he was. I felt proud of myself for loving a guy who was selfless and humane, despite being an animal.“I don’t want you to feel any kind of pressure because you’re going through a lot right now. I want you to know that you can feel comfortable around me because we don’t have to do anything right now. It all can wait,” he told me and I blinked my eyes rapidly, feeling more love and passion for the man in front of me.“No,” I started and took a breath, before clenching his sleeves to keep him as close as possible. “I don’t want to wait. And I don’t want you to wait either,” I added and he kept staring into my eyes for a few secon
