Emily’s POV: “Excuse me?” Melissa moved forward and asked while I kept staring at Dylan and wondered what he just said. “Excused” Dylan said and winked at her. “Listen to me… You can’t order her to obey Aiden” Melissa said confidently. “And why is that so?” Dylan asked while Aiden scoffed. “Because she is supposed to serve you not Aiden, okay? She was your partner” Melissa defended. “Yeah so? I am ordering her to obey my friend. I can order whatever I can. You can’t tell me what to order and what not” Dylan said bitterly. “But…” Melissa started. “Hey, you…” Aiden started and moved forward towards me and Melissa while we abruptly moved back. “Enough…” Aiden continued. “Aiden…” Dylan called out to him but he raised his hand up in the air, causing Dylan to stop speaking and then turned to Melissa. “You… Just shut up, okay? You should go and educate yourself first about the rules of this game and if you can’t read then you can ask this friend of yours…” He pointed to me and con
Emily’s POV: As I turned around while gulping, I shut my eyes tightly to avoid the look from him. “Open your eyes, Dora” He said. The way he called me out proved that it was none other than Aiden. I opened my eyes slowly and saw him standing a far away from me with his three musketeers standing behind him watching me and smirking. “What were you thinking, huh?” He asked me. I stood up straight and then banged my head on the wall in the parking lot in my creative cartoonish imaginations. “Were you trying to sneak out from here?” Aiden said and started moving towards me. I gulped down and had nothing to say. “She is so dumb” Dylan said and laughed. Bastard! I hate you! I thought while making an angry face. “Of course she is…” Aiden said and smirked. “She thought that she’ll be able to sneak out from here and avoid this whole situation” He added and kept walking towards me while I stood still. As his steps continued to move forward towards me along with his glare, my heart skipped
Emily’s POV: I looked at them and took a deep breath before taking a step forward. As I took one step ahead, those four men started walking towards me and I halted there. “Hey… Best of luck” Melissa leaned and whispered to me. I looked at her and nodded confidently. “Emily, good luck” Aria whispered. “Thanks guys” I said with a heavy heart. As I was about to move forward, someone held my shoulder and whispered, “Hey Em… Best of luck” It was Oliver. “Thanks Oliver” I said and smiled to him. “Enough with the luck wishes now” Aiden said and moved forward. “Yes… You should start serving my friend now” Dylan spoke up. I breathed heavily with rage. I couldn’t hold myself from beating them up but I curled my fingers into a fist and calmed my nerves down. I walked confidently to the lion’s den. “I am here” I said confidently as I reached them. “So…” Aiden moved forward towards me with his arms crossed against his chest and continued, “First of all, you go there and bring me a glass
Emily’s POV: As their conversation came to an end which I didn’t hear at all, Aiden looked at me and so did his three musketeers. I hoped that they would spare me now and would continue with this serving thing the next day. “Hey, Dora…” Aiden said and stood up from the couch after which he continued, “Take off my jacket” My mouth dropped open on his words and I stared at him. “Come back to Earth” Aiden said and snapped his fingers in front of me and I came back. “Um – what?” I asked him. “Take… off… my jacket” He repeated. “But – but… I mean… how? Why?” I asked him in my shaky voice. “Don’t you know how to take off someone’s jacket?” He asked and before I could say anything he continued, “And are you asking me why? You have this audacity to ask why? Really?” I gulped down and raised my hands up in front of him to calm him down and said, “No, no… I – I am not asking why… I mean… You… I – I…” I took a deep breath as I couldn’t continue with my words. “Just don’t waste my time,
Emily’s POV: I couldn’t stop staring at him, walking away but someone put a halt to my staring by patting my shoulder from behind. I quickly turned around to see Melissa and Aria standing in front of me. “Oh you guys… I thought it was someone else” I said and sighed. “Yeah. We kind of though so too” Melissa said and crossed her hand against her chest. “What? What do you mean?” I asked in confusion. “Like we were watching you from far away and we thought it was someone else” Aria said and placed her hands on her waist while I looked at her confusion. “Yes because we thought of Emily as an innocent and a simple girl who…” Melissa lowered her voice and then added loudly, “Never checks out a man” I looked at them in confusion as my mouth dropped open. “What are you guys talking about?” I asked them. “You were totally checking out Aiden, Em” Melissa said and released her hands from her chest. I gulped and looked down. “Yes… You were drooling over him” Aria added. “No, I wasn’t”
Emily’s POV: As I was about to enter in, a guy came out and gave me a strange look. I tried to ignore his look and then went inside immediately. How daring of me! I know! As I walked in, fortunately I saw no one inside. It was strange though. I began to look around for the wallet but couldn’t find it anywhere. As my eyes moved to the last wash basin, I saw a wallet placed at the back of the tap. I swiftly made my way towards it and grabbed the wallet immediately. “Thank god” I whispered to myself. “Why isn’t nobody in here?” I asked myself while moving my fingers on to the wallet. As I moved my finger towards the corner of the wallet at the back, I felt something. It was a strange embossment. I turned the wallet around and looked at it. It was a dark brown leather wallet on which a shape was embossed which wasn’t much clear as it was quite small. I looked at it deeply and then turned the wallet clockwise and then anti clockwise to examine it. After a while, I realized it was a sha
Emily’s POV: I was stunned as I heard the voice but then I realized it must be Melissa on the phone, messing with me. “Shut up, Mel… Don’t mess with me” I said lazily and closed my eyes. “I am Aiden, idiot” He said and I immediately removed the phone from my ear and looked at it carefully. It was an unknown number. “Am I dreaming or what?” I said deepening my eyes at the phone. “Dora…” The person on the phone said. I jumped up on the bed and looked at the phone and then realized that he was indeed Aiden who called me. “Oh god, please make this a dream. Please” I whispered to myself and pinched my hand. “Ouch…” I said and realized that it wasn’t a dream. This was all real. “What the hell are you doing?” The voice said on the phone and I immediately put the phone back to my ear to listen. “Ah… Ai – Aiden” I called out his name. “Are you crazy or you act like one just to annoy me?” He said bitterly. “No – no. I – I just can’t process this…” I started and rubbed my forehead.
Emily’s POV: As I came out of my house, I checked the location to Aiden’s house. It was a fifteen minute walk from my place. As I looked here and there, I realized it was dark and scary. I glanced at my wrist watch and saw it was 3.15 am in the morning. “Oh my… How will I reach there?” I asked myself anxiously. I took a deep breath and started walking according to the map. As I reached halfway to his house, I began walking on Mile road, which is the scariest road of Herington. I picked up speed and walked briskly to reach to the end of that road. As I took out my phone to check the location once again, I heard a loud noise. It was a howl. I trembled and my phone fell down. It was a doleful cry that I have never heard before. I couldn’t take a step ahead and stood there stunned. “Wh – What was that?” I asked myself while breathing heavily. I gulped down and looked to my left and right to see if there was anyone or any animal. I was about to get down to pick my phone up but felt som
Aiden’s POV: I kept looking at the Maester and lowered my head for a moment before looking back at him. “I understand that, Maester. But I’d like to respectfully tell you something,” I said and took a step forward, looking into his eyes. “I won’t let anyone hurt her even if it means going against my pack and getting killed. And about me… You can kill me. I don’t mind but I want you to make sure that she would not be bothered again ever in her life.” I added.“What are you saying, Aiden?” Dylan whispered to me bitterly from behind, while I stood confidently in front of the Maester.“We cannot kill you, Aiden,” The Maester. “Now that you’re the alpha, it’s not possible to kill you,” he added and took another step forward. “But that girl…”“That girl should not be harmed. It’d turn me against my community, Maester,” I said sharply and he kept looking at me for a few seconds before looking away.“I heard about the fight. I know how immensely you love that human. But make sure that she st
Dylan’s POV: As Aiden and Austin moved towards each other, I turned to look at Emily and immediately carried her up in my arms to take her to a side. Suddenly, I saw Austin taking a leap towards Emily but Aiden attacked him from behind, digging his nails into Austin’s flesh and he screeched. Austin jumped out of Aiden’s grip and turned around to face him. They both glared into each other’s eyes and then growled before pacing forward and jumped up in the air, grabbing each other. Aiden once again dug his nails into Austin’s back and pulled him down to the ground with a thud after which he bit Austin on his shoulder and he wailed. I could see Aiden’s frustration in his eyes, the way he was biting and scratching Austin. Their fight continued for almost twenty minutes and they both seemed equally strong for each other. Finally, as Austin was injured and stepped down on his knees for a while, Aiden jumped up from behind and grabbed Austin, turning him around and pinning him to the ground.
Aiden’s POV: I kept walking towards Austin’s house while my pack paced ahead of me as I had planned. Suddenly, we heard Emily scream and I halted in my track.“It’s her, right?” Dylan asked me and I clenched my jaws, my eyes welling up.“He’s doing the biggest mistake of his life,” I added bitterly. “He’s going to die horribly,” I added.“Aiden, you need to calm down. She’ll be alright, don’t worry,” Mason said and I took a breath, before proceeding to walk forward. Finally we reached the house and I observed the surroundings closely to check how many wolves were there. I nodded at Dylan who signaled some of our men to go ahead from the left side while some went towards the right with dad leading them. I stood there in the middle, planning my way to kill Austin.Soon after we heard some howls and I realized that everyone there had turned. I was ready to turn too and proceed forward. However, my heart was racing with anxiety as I feared to see Emily. I didn’t want to see her in pain.
Aiden’s POV: He kept looking at me for a few seconds before taking a breath and lowering his head down.“Look, Aiden,” he started, rubbing his forehead with his fingertip. “I know you love her and if anything will happen to her then you’d be devastated. I don’t hate your relationship with her more than I care about you,” he added. “So I am going to come with you. They will help us,” he said confidently.“Us? Are you going to fight Austin with us?” Dylan asked him.“Of course. I cannot let Aiden be alone in this war,” he replied and placed his hand on my shoulder. I couldn’t believe him and kept looking at him wondering if he was the same person who hated my relationship with Emily so much that he wanted to kill her. Now he himself was ready to help me save her life.“Well, thanks. Shall we go now?” I asked and he nodded before we walked away from there.Dylan called everyone from our pack at our land’s clearing and they were quick enough to reach there within half an hour as their Al
Aiden’s POV: My blood was boiling thinking about how Austin managed to take Emily away from me. I promised her that I’d protect her at any cost and I failed. It made me feel disappointed in myself as I had her bracelet clenched in my hand.“Austin won. He took her away,” Lucas said in disappointment. “How the hell are we going to find her?” he added in frustration.“I know how,” I said and reached out for my phone in my pocket while they continued to look at me in confusion.“What are you doing?” Dylan asked me.“Are you calling Austin?” Mason asked as I began to call someone.“Hello,” I said as the person answered the phone. “Phil, did you do it?”“Yes, sir. I have got it,” Phil replied.“Great, where?” I asked.“Sir, I am sending you.” He replied.“Okay,” I said and hung up the call while a small smirk graced my face.“Who did you call?” Dylan asked me and I turned to Lucas.“Austin can never win against me, Luc. No one can,” I told him and he got more confused.“What are you sayin
Melissa’s POV: While dancing slowly with Dylan, I couldn’t help but glance around to see if Emily and Aiden could be seen.“Their meeting is going to last for a long time, I guess,” Dylan said and I blinked my eyes wide, looking at him.“How did you know that I was…?” I started.“I know, worrying about Emily,” he added and I lowered my eyes. “It’s okay. I don’t mind,” he said, smiling.“I am just worrying about how her meeting with Mr. Bill is going. This internship is very important for her. I hope she gets it. But why is this Bill guy taking so much time with each student?” I asked in frustration.“Oh, I am thinking the same,” Aria’s voice reached me as she moved towards me, while dancing slowly with Mason.“Do you think we should go and check on them?” I asked her, moving my hands away from Dylan.“Yes, we can,” Aria agreed.“No you guys cannot. Mr. Martin clearly told us that only those ten students should be around the staircase. He didn’t want any extra crowd there,” Mason poin
Emily’s POV: I was happy and excited to attend the party where I was going to meet Mr. Bill. I felt proud to be on Mr. Martin’s list and realized how my hard work finally paid off after so many years. With a smile on my face, I looked at myself in the mirror as I got dressed in an olive green knee-length A-line dress. The neckline was heart-shaped, and I left my hair loose on my shoulders."Be your best today, Emily," I told myself, taking a deep breath. Suddenly, the door swung open, and Aiden walked in, wearing a black suit with a black shirt and shiny black oxford shoes.“You look…” I stopped there as I adored him from up to down.“Hot?” he asked, walking inside. “Sexy? Handsome?” he asked further and reached my dressing table."Yes, everything you just said," I replied with a smile. "By the way, you've stopped knocking before entering the room since our first night together," I complained."Yep, because now I'm allowed to see you naked. So you can be in any condition, and I can w
Emily’s POV: I couldn't calm my breathing. My body was frozen in place, except for my eyes, which blinked rapidly. Nervousness, anxiety, and excitement washed over me. I recalled Aria's words and realized how wonderful it was to be with him. To feel his hands all over my body. To feel the warmth of his body against mine. To smell his pleasant scent so close. It had been incredible from the beginning when he kissed me to this moment, where I was lying in front of him, my legs spread apart and my chest heaving in anticipation as he held his erection, preparing to enter me.As his erection brushed against my vagina, I flinched and gasped, my heart racing."Relax. Just don't tighten up. Keep yourself loose," he suggested. I gulped and nodded, trusting him completely. With my heart skipping beats, I looked into his eyes as he slid his fingers between mine and moved forward, slowly sliding himself into me."Aah!" I let out a loud cry, moving my head up and grabbing his shoulder with my rig
Emily’s POV: I kept looking into his eyes as he moved his hands down to my waist and pulled me closer, making me gasp and swallow hard."I love you very much," he said, while I kept breathing heavily. "And because I love you, I don't want to rush into anything you're not comfortable with," he added. I blinked widely, realizing how understanding and considerate he was. I felt proud of myself for loving a guy who was selfless and humane, despite being an animal.“I don’t want you to feel any kind of pressure because you’re going through a lot right now. I want you to know that you can feel comfortable around me because we don’t have to do anything right now. It all can wait,” he told me and I blinked my eyes rapidly, feeling more love and passion for the man in front of me.“No,” I started and took a breath, before clenching his sleeves to keep him as close as possible. “I don’t want to wait. And I don’t want you to wait either,” I added and he kept staring into my eyes for a few secon
