Emily’s POV: As Eric and Aiden moved began to move towards each other while glaring, I stepped ahead and stood in between them and they looked at me. “Um, wait…” I said and taking a deep breath, I turned to Aiden to continue, “What do you want Aiden?” “Emily…?” Eric said from behind and I turned to look at him watching me resentfully. “Eric, please, just wait…” I said to him and turned back to face Aiden who was smirking and I added, “What do you want?” “I want you to come to the library after the classes. For the study session…” He said and then leaned forward to whisper to me, “Your friend is getting upset… Talk to him…” He smirked again and walked away from there while I kept looking at him in frustration. Taking a deep breath once again, I turned to talk to Eric who was not looking very happy. “I am sorry…” I started. “Emily why do you get scared of him? I don’t get this” He said in frustration. “Eric… Were you able to fight with him at your party when he was trying to tak
Emily’s POV: I kept looking at him while he walked away from there. “Em…” Melissa’s voice came from behind and I turned around to look at her walking towards me. “Are you going to have a study session with Aiden?” She asked as Aria and Eric reached us. “Um, no, I guess I am going to go home” I said to her. “Why? Is everything okay?” Melissa asked me. “Yes, everything is fine… I am going to go home and study for a while for the competition. “Okay, we are going home too… Let’s go together” Melissa said. “Yeah, okay…” I said and nodded and then looked at Eric who was standing there, looking at me quietly. I was feeling a little guilty because of saying mean things to him while trying to speak the truth. “Eric…” I started and took a deep breath. “Emily, it’s okay…” Eric said and moved back while I looked at him regretfully. “No, I – I just want to apologize to you for being mean…” I said to him. “No, Emily… I thought about it and I think you are right… I couldn’t fight with him
Emily’s POV: I knocked on the door once and Marco’s voice came from inside, “Come on in…” Turning the knob, I walked inside to see Marco writing something on some papers. “Marco…” I added and he looked up to see me and a big smile approached his face. “Oh my God, Emily…” He said and immediately walked towards me with his hands wide open for a hug. I walked ahead and hugged him gently and as he moved back, he added, “I can’t believe you are here…” I chuckled nervously and then added, “You were not answering my call. I had to come to meet you…” “Oh I forgot my phone at home today… I am sorry. But that’s really nice… I am so happy that you are here” He said happily and then added, “Come, have a seat here” As he guided me to a chair, I turned and asked him, “Were you doing something important? Did I disturb you?” “No, no Emily, not at all… I was just checking some bills and nothing else” He said and walked along with me to sit next to me. “Oh okay…” I said and smiled as he sat dow
Emily's POV: I entered through my door while thinking about Earl. It was quite strange and weird. Tossing my keys on the side in the bowl, I climbed up the stairs and threw myself on the bed, taking a sigh of relief. How can someone leave town all of a sudden? And why was his identity card in the woods and that too quite damaged. But what if he actually left town and I am just connecting that dead body story to that guy Earl. What if i am wrong? But this card, which I found in the woods in that condition evidently says that the dead body was of Earl's. I hope he is okay but I think he is dead. I thought and rubbed my forehead while thinking deeper. If he is dead, then why this news is not coming out? Why are his family members hiding his death news? Is there something which they don't want to come out in the open? But what could it be? Why would they hide? God! I thought and shut my eyes tightly in frustration. It was weird and I knew that only Earl's cousin could give me all the ans
Emily's POV: I couldn't believe my eyes as I kept looking at the screen trying to process what I just read. "Was Earl a - a werewolf?" I asked myself in horror. The myth I was researching on since all this time was coming to reality and I couldn't help but breathe heavily. Werewolves were a myth by then. I never thought that such a weird myth could be something real. It wasn't possible in this world and this was freaking me out. How can humans actually turn into wolves? I thought and leaned back in shock. This is unbelievable. This was a myth. I can't be something real. This is not possible. This is absurd. Werewolves never existed before. The early Greeks or Romans created this rumor and it has to be a rumor only. I thought and then realized that some of those Greeks and Romans saw some humans turning into wolves. Were they right about this? I thought they were drunk at that time or something. Oh my God! I thought and sweat began to release on my forehead and I wiped it while gulp
Emily's POV: The moment I realized that I have made a huge mistake, I wanted to bang my head on the plate in front of me. I was so involved in eating that delicious bacon wrapped pork that those words left my mouth which could have brought my death to me as I lied to Aiden about paying the bills when instead I was at the parlor, inquiring about Earl. At that moment I realized how wrong I got to lie to Aiden. He had warn me before about how he hates liars but still I lied to his face and now I was wishing I was dead. "What?" He said and put down his fork to look at me inquisitively. I gulped and swallowed down the whole bite of pork while nodding and trying to reach for water. "Wa - Water" I managed to say a word and clearing my throat, I added, "Please..." Dylan immediately reached out to get some water for me and passed the glass to me. While drinking the water, I looked at Aiden from the corner of my eye and noticed him looking at me while leaning back to the chair and crossing
Emily's POV: I couldn't manage to look into his eyes as he kept gazing at me, wanting me to speak the truth while I was getting nervous because I knew I was lying to him and was going to regret it later. "Um..." I started and gulped. "Look into my eyes, Emily" He said leaning towards me and I immediately looked up blinking my eyes several times and trying to make an eye contact with him. "Um, I - I am..." I started nervously and gulped while looking at him and then looked away while adding, "I'm not lying, Aiden..." He looked at me for a while and then loosened his grip on my elbow and finally let me go. I moved back while he looked away. "I should go now..." I said to him while looking at him and trying to understand what he was thinking. He started while looking away, "Yeah. You should go" I nodded while gazing at him, wondering why he was not looking into my eyes. He kept looking away to find his driver when finally a man dressed in a white uniform walked towards us.
Emily's POV: The next morning, the radiant light hit my face through the swaying curtains and my eye balls moved in irritation. I didn't want to open my eyes and get up from the bed when suddenly the fact that I was going to meet Earl's cousin, struck me and I swung my eyes open, looking up at the ceiling. Taking a deep breath, I recalled everything that happened the previous night and gulped. I don't know why but I was having a feeling that something was going to happen that day and that was making me nervous. I wasn't ready to face Aiden's anger and aggression that day but I had a feeling that it was going to happen anyhow. I rubbed my forehead while getting up on the bed and looked at my friends sitting right in front of me on the tree trunk and chirping. A smile approached my face as one of them, flew and landed on my window and chirped as if calling me. I stood up from the bed and walked towards it while observing it carefully. It was so beautiful that I couldn't help but adore
Aiden’s POV: I kept looking at the Maester and lowered my head for a moment before looking back at him. “I understand that, Maester. But I’d like to respectfully tell you something,” I said and took a step forward, looking into his eyes. “I won’t let anyone hurt her even if it means going against my pack and getting killed. And about me… You can kill me. I don’t mind but I want you to make sure that she would not be bothered again ever in her life.” I added.“What are you saying, Aiden?” Dylan whispered to me bitterly from behind, while I stood confidently in front of the Maester.“We cannot kill you, Aiden,” The Maester. “Now that you’re the alpha, it’s not possible to kill you,” he added and took another step forward. “But that girl…”“That girl should not be harmed. It’d turn me against my community, Maester,” I said sharply and he kept looking at me for a few seconds before looking away.“I heard about the fight. I know how immensely you love that human. But make sure that she st
Dylan’s POV: As Aiden and Austin moved towards each other, I turned to look at Emily and immediately carried her up in my arms to take her to a side. Suddenly, I saw Austin taking a leap towards Emily but Aiden attacked him from behind, digging his nails into Austin’s flesh and he screeched. Austin jumped out of Aiden’s grip and turned around to face him. They both glared into each other’s eyes and then growled before pacing forward and jumped up in the air, grabbing each other. Aiden once again dug his nails into Austin’s back and pulled him down to the ground with a thud after which he bit Austin on his shoulder and he wailed. I could see Aiden’s frustration in his eyes, the way he was biting and scratching Austin. Their fight continued for almost twenty minutes and they both seemed equally strong for each other. Finally, as Austin was injured and stepped down on his knees for a while, Aiden jumped up from behind and grabbed Austin, turning him around and pinning him to the ground.
Aiden’s POV: I kept walking towards Austin’s house while my pack paced ahead of me as I had planned. Suddenly, we heard Emily scream and I halted in my track.“It’s her, right?” Dylan asked me and I clenched my jaws, my eyes welling up.“He’s doing the biggest mistake of his life,” I added bitterly. “He’s going to die horribly,” I added.“Aiden, you need to calm down. She’ll be alright, don’t worry,” Mason said and I took a breath, before proceeding to walk forward. Finally we reached the house and I observed the surroundings closely to check how many wolves were there. I nodded at Dylan who signaled some of our men to go ahead from the left side while some went towards the right with dad leading them. I stood there in the middle, planning my way to kill Austin.Soon after we heard some howls and I realized that everyone there had turned. I was ready to turn too and proceed forward. However, my heart was racing with anxiety as I feared to see Emily. I didn’t want to see her in pain.
Aiden’s POV: He kept looking at me for a few seconds before taking a breath and lowering his head down.“Look, Aiden,” he started, rubbing his forehead with his fingertip. “I know you love her and if anything will happen to her then you’d be devastated. I don’t hate your relationship with her more than I care about you,” he added. “So I am going to come with you. They will help us,” he said confidently.“Us? Are you going to fight Austin with us?” Dylan asked him.“Of course. I cannot let Aiden be alone in this war,” he replied and placed his hand on my shoulder. I couldn’t believe him and kept looking at him wondering if he was the same person who hated my relationship with Emily so much that he wanted to kill her. Now he himself was ready to help me save her life.“Well, thanks. Shall we go now?” I asked and he nodded before we walked away from there.Dylan called everyone from our pack at our land’s clearing and they were quick enough to reach there within half an hour as their Al
Aiden’s POV: My blood was boiling thinking about how Austin managed to take Emily away from me. I promised her that I’d protect her at any cost and I failed. It made me feel disappointed in myself as I had her bracelet clenched in my hand.“Austin won. He took her away,” Lucas said in disappointment. “How the hell are we going to find her?” he added in frustration.“I know how,” I said and reached out for my phone in my pocket while they continued to look at me in confusion.“What are you doing?” Dylan asked me.“Are you calling Austin?” Mason asked as I began to call someone.“Hello,” I said as the person answered the phone. “Phil, did you do it?”“Yes, sir. I have got it,” Phil replied.“Great, where?” I asked.“Sir, I am sending you.” He replied.“Okay,” I said and hung up the call while a small smirk graced my face.“Who did you call?” Dylan asked me and I turned to Lucas.“Austin can never win against me, Luc. No one can,” I told him and he got more confused.“What are you sayin
Melissa’s POV: While dancing slowly with Dylan, I couldn’t help but glance around to see if Emily and Aiden could be seen.“Their meeting is going to last for a long time, I guess,” Dylan said and I blinked my eyes wide, looking at him.“How did you know that I was…?” I started.“I know, worrying about Emily,” he added and I lowered my eyes. “It’s okay. I don’t mind,” he said, smiling.“I am just worrying about how her meeting with Mr. Bill is going. This internship is very important for her. I hope she gets it. But why is this Bill guy taking so much time with each student?” I asked in frustration.“Oh, I am thinking the same,” Aria’s voice reached me as she moved towards me, while dancing slowly with Mason.“Do you think we should go and check on them?” I asked her, moving my hands away from Dylan.“Yes, we can,” Aria agreed.“No you guys cannot. Mr. Martin clearly told us that only those ten students should be around the staircase. He didn’t want any extra crowd there,” Mason poin
Emily’s POV: I was happy and excited to attend the party where I was going to meet Mr. Bill. I felt proud to be on Mr. Martin’s list and realized how my hard work finally paid off after so many years. With a smile on my face, I looked at myself in the mirror as I got dressed in an olive green knee-length A-line dress. The neckline was heart-shaped, and I left my hair loose on my shoulders."Be your best today, Emily," I told myself, taking a deep breath. Suddenly, the door swung open, and Aiden walked in, wearing a black suit with a black shirt and shiny black oxford shoes.“You look…” I stopped there as I adored him from up to down.“Hot?” he asked, walking inside. “Sexy? Handsome?” he asked further and reached my dressing table."Yes, everything you just said," I replied with a smile. "By the way, you've stopped knocking before entering the room since our first night together," I complained."Yep, because now I'm allowed to see you naked. So you can be in any condition, and I can w
Emily’s POV: I couldn't calm my breathing. My body was frozen in place, except for my eyes, which blinked rapidly. Nervousness, anxiety, and excitement washed over me. I recalled Aria's words and realized how wonderful it was to be with him. To feel his hands all over my body. To feel the warmth of his body against mine. To smell his pleasant scent so close. It had been incredible from the beginning when he kissed me to this moment, where I was lying in front of him, my legs spread apart and my chest heaving in anticipation as he held his erection, preparing to enter me.As his erection brushed against my vagina, I flinched and gasped, my heart racing."Relax. Just don't tighten up. Keep yourself loose," he suggested. I gulped and nodded, trusting him completely. With my heart skipping beats, I looked into his eyes as he slid his fingers between mine and moved forward, slowly sliding himself into me."Aah!" I let out a loud cry, moving my head up and grabbing his shoulder with my rig
Emily’s POV: I kept looking into his eyes as he moved his hands down to my waist and pulled me closer, making me gasp and swallow hard."I love you very much," he said, while I kept breathing heavily. "And because I love you, I don't want to rush into anything you're not comfortable with," he added. I blinked widely, realizing how understanding and considerate he was. I felt proud of myself for loving a guy who was selfless and humane, despite being an animal.“I don’t want you to feel any kind of pressure because you’re going through a lot right now. I want you to know that you can feel comfortable around me because we don’t have to do anything right now. It all can wait,” he told me and I blinked my eyes rapidly, feeling more love and passion for the man in front of me.“No,” I started and took a breath, before clenching his sleeves to keep him as close as possible. “I don’t want to wait. And I don’t want you to wait either,” I added and he kept staring into my eyes for a few secon
