Emily’s POV: The next day, we had an off from school. I woke up late in the morning and lazily climbed downstairs in my pajamas to have my breakfast. I prepared myself some scrambled eggs and then sat down to have it while listening to my favorite playlist. It was a nice day. I didn’t have to face Aiden or Eric or any other guy from my school who could affect my life in anyway. It was all peaceful. I decided to call Melissa and Aria and ask them for a lunch outside and tell them everything about Aiden coming to my place last night. While filling up my mouth with scrambled egg, I called Melissa. “Hey, Em…” Melissa answered the call but her voice was quite shaky. “Mel, where are you?” I asked her. “I – I am out, Em…” She spoke loudly as there was some disturbance in our call. “Where?” I asked her out loud. “With dad… He is taking me to meet Aunt Patricia…” She said in frustration. “What? Why?” I asked her and chuckled. “I don’t know… She used to give me a lot of candies when I
Emily’s POV: The next morning, I woke up and got dressed for school while looking out of the window and adoring those birds chirping. It seemed like they were now friends with me and used to come to me every day to make my day beautiful and take away all my problems and worries. They brought a smile on my face while I was getting ready. Bidding them goodbye, I closed my window and headed out of the room to get downstairs. That day, I was a bit late and there was no time for breakfast. Therefore, I rushed out of the house without eating anything and saw Melissa out there waiting for me. “I am sorry, I am sorry, I am sorry…” I said while walking towards her with my hands up. “Late again…” Melissa said and I held my ears to apologize once again. “It’s okay, Em…” She said and we began to walk. “You used to wait for me every day when we were in mid school… So now it’s my turn, I guess…” She added and I chuckled. “So, did you start working on the Amazons?” I asked her as we walked bris
Emily’s POV: I looked at Aiden nervously and he looked away and began talking to his friends again. “Hey… What happened?” Eric called out. “Hey… Hi, um nothing…” I said and smiled nervously. He smiled back and Mr. Clark came in the class, greeting us all. Mr. Clark began the class but during the whole time, I couldn’t focus on what he was teaching. I could only think about Aiden, my assignment topic and Mr. Martin’s story. I couldn’t figure out how to connect them and wondered if Aiden even has any link to that story and to my topic. I began to put some pieces together to figure things out considering that I got into the woods because of Aiden. I got stuck with those wolves and Aiden helped me there by doing some stuff which he didn’t even agree doing. After then I got curious about those wolves and began to search for them and then Mr. Martin’s story came up. But it all started with Aiden. Or maybe not? What is Aiden got to do with this? Am I dragging him into all of this unnecessa
Aiden’s POV: As we walked into the cafeteria, I looked around to see where Emily was sitting. “There she is… Right corner…” Dylan pointed out to the right and I looked to see her sitting with Eric on her side and her friends around her. That Eric guy seemed suspicious to me. It was just a few days since he got in school and he was already flirting around with Emily and trying to be extra sweet to her. I didn’t want to be bothered by that, but to my surprise, I was. It was bothering me to see her being friendly with that guy so easily without even figuring out if he is actually worth her friendship. “Let’s go…” Lucas tapped on my shoulder and I nodded. Dylan moved forwards towards a table which was occupied by some people and asked them to leave the table quickly. They did listen to him without any argument and left the table for us. It was just a table away from Emily’s. As we sat down, Emily turned to look at me and I looked back at her after which she bent her face down and conti
Emily’s POV: After the breakfast treat from Eric, we had our English class. Eric kept on inviting people to the party at his place whoever he met that day, almost inviting the whole school. “Eric’s party is going to be a grand one, just like Aiden’s I think…” Aria said as we headed out of the building. “Yeah but I wonder if his house is as big as Aiden’s to adjust so many people” Melissa said to her. “The way he is inviting everyone, I think he must have a huge place” Aria said. “Why are you silent, Em?” Melissa asked me while I was walking quietly with them, thinking about the connection again. “Um, no… I mean yes… He – he must have a huge place. I mean he is walking around the whole school inviting everyone he sees…” I said and they chuckled. “He is funny…” Aria said. “Yeah… Very funny” I said and kept walking. “But he is indeed taking some interest in you, Em and I think he is a nice guy…” Melissa said to me. “I know… I completely agree that he is a nice guy. But…” I paus
Emily’s POV: Melissa spent the whole day at my place and we talked and talked for hours while cooking and eating stuff up. At night, I requested her to stay for the night and she agreed. The next morning, I rushed to the bathroom after greeting the chirping birds outside my window while Melissa kept lying on the bed, sleeping. “Mel, wake up…” I said to her as I came out of the bathroom after taking a nice warm shower. “Em… I don’t want to come to school today…” Melissa said and turned to her side to sleep again. “What?” I asked her while drying my hair. “Yes… Your bed is so comfy…” She said lazily and I walked to her and grabbed the blanket away from her face. “Get up, sleeping beauty…” I said to her loudly. She grunted and then got up on the bed, rubbing her eyes and looking out of the window. “Why the hell there is so much light in your room, Em?” Melissa complained and then added, “And these birds… Oh they are so loud…” “Mel…” I said and walked to my dresser while adding,
Emily’s POV: After getting ready for school, we headed out of the house and I looked around to see if Aiden was still there. “He is not here, Em…” Melissa said and I looked at her in confusion. “Of course you are looking for him…” Melissa said to me and we walked further. “I don’t believe him, seriously… He is getting more annoying day by day…” I said to her. “But you are getting more affected by him day by day…” Melissa pointed out. “I am not affected by him…” I denied and then continued, “Well I am… In a negative way though” “Yeah whatever…” She said and smiled. After a while, Melissa started again, “So why was he here, then?” “I don’t know… I asked him but he said it’s none of my business…” I told her. “That’s rude…” She said. “I know… And stupid me, on the other hand began to justify myself to him and gave him all the explanation for holding your clothes in my hand and going towards my house…” I told her. “What? Why did you justify yourself to him?” Melissa said out lo
Emily’s POV: “What do you mean by that?” Eric asked Aiden and moved a little forward towards him. Aiden rolled his eyes at him and then turned to me to add, “You are my partner in this competition and we need to work hard to win this. It’s just two weeks away and I don’t want anyone to distract you from that…” I began to nod and then added, “I – I know… I won’t be distracted…” “Emily…” Eric started. “Eric please… I am sorry but it’s really important for me. I can’t waste my time anymore… Also, I am coming to your party tomorrow, so… We’ll have fun then” I said to him. “I’ll be in the library…” Aiden leaned and said to me before walking away from there. “This guy is… He is quite strange” Eric said to all of us. “Yeah we know that. He has always been like this” Melissa told him. “But why…?” Eric asked in frustration. “Eric… It’s okay” I started and then continued, “He is like that but this time he was right…” I took a pause and then added, “I should be focusing on the competit
Aiden’s POV: I kept looking at the Maester and lowered my head for a moment before looking back at him. “I understand that, Maester. But I’d like to respectfully tell you something,” I said and took a step forward, looking into his eyes. “I won’t let anyone hurt her even if it means going against my pack and getting killed. And about me… You can kill me. I don’t mind but I want you to make sure that she would not be bothered again ever in her life.” I added.“What are you saying, Aiden?” Dylan whispered to me bitterly from behind, while I stood confidently in front of the Maester.“We cannot kill you, Aiden,” The Maester. “Now that you’re the alpha, it’s not possible to kill you,” he added and took another step forward. “But that girl…”“That girl should not be harmed. It’d turn me against my community, Maester,” I said sharply and he kept looking at me for a few seconds before looking away.“I heard about the fight. I know how immensely you love that human. But make sure that she st
Dylan’s POV: As Aiden and Austin moved towards each other, I turned to look at Emily and immediately carried her up in my arms to take her to a side. Suddenly, I saw Austin taking a leap towards Emily but Aiden attacked him from behind, digging his nails into Austin’s flesh and he screeched. Austin jumped out of Aiden’s grip and turned around to face him. They both glared into each other’s eyes and then growled before pacing forward and jumped up in the air, grabbing each other. Aiden once again dug his nails into Austin’s back and pulled him down to the ground with a thud after which he bit Austin on his shoulder and he wailed. I could see Aiden’s frustration in his eyes, the way he was biting and scratching Austin. Their fight continued for almost twenty minutes and they both seemed equally strong for each other. Finally, as Austin was injured and stepped down on his knees for a while, Aiden jumped up from behind and grabbed Austin, turning him around and pinning him to the ground.
Aiden’s POV: I kept walking towards Austin’s house while my pack paced ahead of me as I had planned. Suddenly, we heard Emily scream and I halted in my track.“It’s her, right?” Dylan asked me and I clenched my jaws, my eyes welling up.“He’s doing the biggest mistake of his life,” I added bitterly. “He’s going to die horribly,” I added.“Aiden, you need to calm down. She’ll be alright, don’t worry,” Mason said and I took a breath, before proceeding to walk forward. Finally we reached the house and I observed the surroundings closely to check how many wolves were there. I nodded at Dylan who signaled some of our men to go ahead from the left side while some went towards the right with dad leading them. I stood there in the middle, planning my way to kill Austin.Soon after we heard some howls and I realized that everyone there had turned. I was ready to turn too and proceed forward. However, my heart was racing with anxiety as I feared to see Emily. I didn’t want to see her in pain.
Aiden’s POV: He kept looking at me for a few seconds before taking a breath and lowering his head down.“Look, Aiden,” he started, rubbing his forehead with his fingertip. “I know you love her and if anything will happen to her then you’d be devastated. I don’t hate your relationship with her more than I care about you,” he added. “So I am going to come with you. They will help us,” he said confidently.“Us? Are you going to fight Austin with us?” Dylan asked him.“Of course. I cannot let Aiden be alone in this war,” he replied and placed his hand on my shoulder. I couldn’t believe him and kept looking at him wondering if he was the same person who hated my relationship with Emily so much that he wanted to kill her. Now he himself was ready to help me save her life.“Well, thanks. Shall we go now?” I asked and he nodded before we walked away from there.Dylan called everyone from our pack at our land’s clearing and they were quick enough to reach there within half an hour as their Al
Aiden’s POV: My blood was boiling thinking about how Austin managed to take Emily away from me. I promised her that I’d protect her at any cost and I failed. It made me feel disappointed in myself as I had her bracelet clenched in my hand.“Austin won. He took her away,” Lucas said in disappointment. “How the hell are we going to find her?” he added in frustration.“I know how,” I said and reached out for my phone in my pocket while they continued to look at me in confusion.“What are you doing?” Dylan asked me.“Are you calling Austin?” Mason asked as I began to call someone.“Hello,” I said as the person answered the phone. “Phil, did you do it?”“Yes, sir. I have got it,” Phil replied.“Great, where?” I asked.“Sir, I am sending you.” He replied.“Okay,” I said and hung up the call while a small smirk graced my face.“Who did you call?” Dylan asked me and I turned to Lucas.“Austin can never win against me, Luc. No one can,” I told him and he got more confused.“What are you sayin
Melissa’s POV: While dancing slowly with Dylan, I couldn’t help but glance around to see if Emily and Aiden could be seen.“Their meeting is going to last for a long time, I guess,” Dylan said and I blinked my eyes wide, looking at him.“How did you know that I was…?” I started.“I know, worrying about Emily,” he added and I lowered my eyes. “It’s okay. I don’t mind,” he said, smiling.“I am just worrying about how her meeting with Mr. Bill is going. This internship is very important for her. I hope she gets it. But why is this Bill guy taking so much time with each student?” I asked in frustration.“Oh, I am thinking the same,” Aria’s voice reached me as she moved towards me, while dancing slowly with Mason.“Do you think we should go and check on them?” I asked her, moving my hands away from Dylan.“Yes, we can,” Aria agreed.“No you guys cannot. Mr. Martin clearly told us that only those ten students should be around the staircase. He didn’t want any extra crowd there,” Mason poin
Emily’s POV: I was happy and excited to attend the party where I was going to meet Mr. Bill. I felt proud to be on Mr. Martin’s list and realized how my hard work finally paid off after so many years. With a smile on my face, I looked at myself in the mirror as I got dressed in an olive green knee-length A-line dress. The neckline was heart-shaped, and I left my hair loose on my shoulders."Be your best today, Emily," I told myself, taking a deep breath. Suddenly, the door swung open, and Aiden walked in, wearing a black suit with a black shirt and shiny black oxford shoes.“You look…” I stopped there as I adored him from up to down.“Hot?” he asked, walking inside. “Sexy? Handsome?” he asked further and reached my dressing table."Yes, everything you just said," I replied with a smile. "By the way, you've stopped knocking before entering the room since our first night together," I complained."Yep, because now I'm allowed to see you naked. So you can be in any condition, and I can w
Emily’s POV: I couldn't calm my breathing. My body was frozen in place, except for my eyes, which blinked rapidly. Nervousness, anxiety, and excitement washed over me. I recalled Aria's words and realized how wonderful it was to be with him. To feel his hands all over my body. To feel the warmth of his body against mine. To smell his pleasant scent so close. It had been incredible from the beginning when he kissed me to this moment, where I was lying in front of him, my legs spread apart and my chest heaving in anticipation as he held his erection, preparing to enter me.As his erection brushed against my vagina, I flinched and gasped, my heart racing."Relax. Just don't tighten up. Keep yourself loose," he suggested. I gulped and nodded, trusting him completely. With my heart skipping beats, I looked into his eyes as he slid his fingers between mine and moved forward, slowly sliding himself into me."Aah!" I let out a loud cry, moving my head up and grabbing his shoulder with my rig
Emily’s POV: I kept looking into his eyes as he moved his hands down to my waist and pulled me closer, making me gasp and swallow hard."I love you very much," he said, while I kept breathing heavily. "And because I love you, I don't want to rush into anything you're not comfortable with," he added. I blinked widely, realizing how understanding and considerate he was. I felt proud of myself for loving a guy who was selfless and humane, despite being an animal.“I don’t want you to feel any kind of pressure because you’re going through a lot right now. I want you to know that you can feel comfortable around me because we don’t have to do anything right now. It all can wait,” he told me and I blinked my eyes rapidly, feeling more love and passion for the man in front of me.“No,” I started and took a breath, before clenching his sleeves to keep him as close as possible. “I don’t want to wait. And I don’t want you to wait either,” I added and he kept staring into my eyes for a few secon
