Emily’s POV: As Aiden breathed heavily, I heard a strange sound which seemed like some coarse crackles coming out of him as he breathed angrily. His musketeers produced the same sound as if they are trying to talk to those creatures. Aiden and his musketeers kept looking at those creatures, standing firm with their bodies leaned towards them and their fingers curled into a fist. I couldn’t figure out what was happening then. I tried to look at their faces but couldn’t because they were facing those yellow eyed creatures. All of a sudden, those creatures growled once again and Aiden breathed heavily as if he was trying to deal with them after which, the yellow eyes began to disappear. It was strange and shocking. As those eyes began to disappear into those bushes, my eyes grew wide open and my jaw dropped down as I couldn’t believe it. As they were completely gone, I immediately ran to the front and looked at Aiden’s face and to my surprise, it was all normal. He was looking at me nor
Emily’s POV: I kept walking behind them thinking about what happened earlier in the woods. It was shocking and strange. It seemed like they were talking to those creatures. I wondered if they were animals or anything else and how easily they got scared of Aiden and his friends. How can anyone scare such wild animals off? How can someone learn such things from hunting? Are they saying the truth? Is there really a technique to handle them? Am I overthinking? “I think I am…” I didn’t realize when I got loud enough for them to hear. They stopped walking and turned around to look at me in confusion while Aiden breathed heavily in frustration. “I – I am sorry…” I said and gulped. “You were thinking about something” Aiden said and I bit my lip and shook my head in a no. “Yes you were…” He repeated. I began to shake my head again but stopped and looked at him wondering if I should ask him once again. “Are you…” Clearing my throat, I continued, “Um, are you guys telling me the truth?”
Emily’s POV: As Aria and Oliver walked towards the right on the way to their house, I and Melissa began to walk towards ours. I thought about how I was supposed to pass through the Mile road once again but it was a relief that Melissa was there with me. “So nothing happened in the woods, right?” Melissa asked me while walking. “Um, yeah… Nothing happened” I answered and bent my face down. “Ahan… I see” She said and nodded and we began to walk quietly. After a few minutes, Melissa started once again, “Em…” “Yes?” I asked. “You can’t lie to me. You know that, right?” She asked me while looking straight at the front leaving me looking at her in confusion. “What?” I asked her in confusion. “Em, I know something happened in the woods. You were lying, clearly” She said. “How can you say that?” I asked her. “Because I know you. I can easily tell when you are lying and when you are speaking the truth” She said and I got nervous. “Mel, I am not…” I started. “Em, please…” She said
Aiden’s POV: After a couple of minutes, the girl came out of the room and we got alert. “Why has she come out?” Lucas asked me. “How would I know?” I told him in frustration. The girl walked towards the bathrooms on the side with her hands on her mouth while we kept looking at her in confusion and a seconds later, Mason came out of the room while buttoning up his shirt. “What the hell happened?” Dylan whispered to him as he walked towards us. “Walk outside, walk outside” Mason whispered and we all walked out of the house. “Is she the one?” I asked him anxiously. “No, she isn’t…” Mason replied. “What, really?” Lucas was shocked. “Yes, she has no mark on her back and neither was she feeling any pain” Mason told us. “It – it was supposed to be on the middle of her spine” I told him. “Yes, I know… I saw there. There was nothing…” He told us and I shook my head in frustration. “How did you see her back?” Lucas asked Mason in confusion. “We – almost undressed each other” Mason
Emily’s POV: I was in my deep sleep when I heard an irritating sound which turned out to be alarm which was beeping through my phone. I moved my hands up to my bedside table to find my phone but couldn’t and the alarm kept on beeping. Grunting, I opened my eyes to the dazzling sunlight and moved my hands up to my eyes to block that from hitting my face so harshly. Grunting again, I moved my hands near my pillow to find my phone and finally I did. Dismissing the alarm, I got up and moved my hands in front of my face to try and dodge the sunlight while walking to the curtains. Though it was quite an intense day light, the morning was absolutely beautiful. It was bright and shiny and brought a message of peace and calmness. The birds kept on chirping while I looked at them smiling as they were eating their food sitting on the branches of those trees and also feeding to the little ones. It was mesmerizing. I couldn’t take my eyes off from them. They looked happy and at peace. I continued
Emily’s POV: “Oh my god, excuse me? What the hell are you doing here?” That is what I was supposed to say to the guy who just entered inside the women’s bathroom. Instead, I kept looking at him with my jaw dropped down because of his jaw dropping personality. He was drop dead gorgeous just like Aiden. I wondered why I compared him to Aiden though. He was looking at me all surprised as if he wasn’t expecting a girl to be present in a girl’s bathroom. I couldn’t say a word because I was mesmerized by how handsome he was looking. He has a beautiful sand color skin and his face looks like it is sculpted specially. His face’s shape is a perfect triangle comprising of a flawless jawline and his features are like a model. I held his gaze and noticed his upturned misty gray eyes which goes perfectly with his sharp pointed nose and thin lips. I breathed heavily while my eyes kept on adoring how flawless his face was but his hair caught my attention as he slid his fingers through his light war
Emily’s POV: Later that day, we had another class. It was with Mr. Martin. As we walked into the class, Aiden and his musketeers weren’t there. I wondered where they were but didn’t bother to waste my time thinking about them and walked to the back to my desk. “School is getting so boring…” Melissa said lazily and I chuckled. “I agree…” Aria said and then added, “But it’s more interesting than my previous school, to be honest” Aria rolled her eyes and then added to Melissa, “You could have died there. It was so boring…” I chucked and Aria added more, “Until my cousin Micah got killed. After that… people had so many gossips and so many stories of their own… It was interesting for everyone but not for me though…” Aria said distressfully and I tapped her shoulder to console her. “Hello students…” Mr. Martin came into the class, while greeting us all and we immediately settled down on our desks while once again, I began to wonder where Aiden was. Thinking of the devil and the devil w
Emily’s POV: “What are they up to?” I whispered to myself. “Who are?” Aria’s voice came from the side and I turned to look at her. “Um, what?” I asked her. “Who are you talking to?” Aria asked me. “Um, I was – I was just…” I couldn’t say anything and kept looking at the front thinking about Eric and Aiden. “Em, Em…” Melissa called my name out loudly and walked up to me. “He is the guy, right? The one that came into the bathroom?” Melissa asked me. “Is he?” Aria asked out loud. “Yes. He is the one” I said in frustration. “Oh my God and you shouted at such a gorgeous piece? How could you do that?” Aria complained. “I was nervous… Also, he is looking quite suspicious to me” I said to them as all the student’s left the class. “What? Why?” Aria asked me out loud. “Because he looked at me” I told them. “He gave me some looks. I – I don’t know what they were about but he smirked at me” I added and then continued anxiously, “Also, when the class got over, he was coming towards me
Aiden’s POV: I kept looking at the Maester and lowered my head for a moment before looking back at him. “I understand that, Maester. But I’d like to respectfully tell you something,” I said and took a step forward, looking into his eyes. “I won’t let anyone hurt her even if it means going against my pack and getting killed. And about me… You can kill me. I don’t mind but I want you to make sure that she would not be bothered again ever in her life.” I added.“What are you saying, Aiden?” Dylan whispered to me bitterly from behind, while I stood confidently in front of the Maester.“We cannot kill you, Aiden,” The Maester. “Now that you’re the alpha, it’s not possible to kill you,” he added and took another step forward. “But that girl…”“That girl should not be harmed. It’d turn me against my community, Maester,” I said sharply and he kept looking at me for a few seconds before looking away.“I heard about the fight. I know how immensely you love that human. But make sure that she st
Dylan’s POV: As Aiden and Austin moved towards each other, I turned to look at Emily and immediately carried her up in my arms to take her to a side. Suddenly, I saw Austin taking a leap towards Emily but Aiden attacked him from behind, digging his nails into Austin’s flesh and he screeched. Austin jumped out of Aiden’s grip and turned around to face him. They both glared into each other’s eyes and then growled before pacing forward and jumped up in the air, grabbing each other. Aiden once again dug his nails into Austin’s back and pulled him down to the ground with a thud after which he bit Austin on his shoulder and he wailed. I could see Aiden’s frustration in his eyes, the way he was biting and scratching Austin. Their fight continued for almost twenty minutes and they both seemed equally strong for each other. Finally, as Austin was injured and stepped down on his knees for a while, Aiden jumped up from behind and grabbed Austin, turning him around and pinning him to the ground.
Aiden’s POV: I kept walking towards Austin’s house while my pack paced ahead of me as I had planned. Suddenly, we heard Emily scream and I halted in my track.“It’s her, right?” Dylan asked me and I clenched my jaws, my eyes welling up.“He’s doing the biggest mistake of his life,” I added bitterly. “He’s going to die horribly,” I added.“Aiden, you need to calm down. She’ll be alright, don’t worry,” Mason said and I took a breath, before proceeding to walk forward. Finally we reached the house and I observed the surroundings closely to check how many wolves were there. I nodded at Dylan who signaled some of our men to go ahead from the left side while some went towards the right with dad leading them. I stood there in the middle, planning my way to kill Austin.Soon after we heard some howls and I realized that everyone there had turned. I was ready to turn too and proceed forward. However, my heart was racing with anxiety as I feared to see Emily. I didn’t want to see her in pain.
Aiden’s POV: He kept looking at me for a few seconds before taking a breath and lowering his head down.“Look, Aiden,” he started, rubbing his forehead with his fingertip. “I know you love her and if anything will happen to her then you’d be devastated. I don’t hate your relationship with her more than I care about you,” he added. “So I am going to come with you. They will help us,” he said confidently.“Us? Are you going to fight Austin with us?” Dylan asked him.“Of course. I cannot let Aiden be alone in this war,” he replied and placed his hand on my shoulder. I couldn’t believe him and kept looking at him wondering if he was the same person who hated my relationship with Emily so much that he wanted to kill her. Now he himself was ready to help me save her life.“Well, thanks. Shall we go now?” I asked and he nodded before we walked away from there.Dylan called everyone from our pack at our land’s clearing and they were quick enough to reach there within half an hour as their Al
Aiden’s POV: My blood was boiling thinking about how Austin managed to take Emily away from me. I promised her that I’d protect her at any cost and I failed. It made me feel disappointed in myself as I had her bracelet clenched in my hand.“Austin won. He took her away,” Lucas said in disappointment. “How the hell are we going to find her?” he added in frustration.“I know how,” I said and reached out for my phone in my pocket while they continued to look at me in confusion.“What are you doing?” Dylan asked me.“Are you calling Austin?” Mason asked as I began to call someone.“Hello,” I said as the person answered the phone. “Phil, did you do it?”“Yes, sir. I have got it,” Phil replied.“Great, where?” I asked.“Sir, I am sending you.” He replied.“Okay,” I said and hung up the call while a small smirk graced my face.“Who did you call?” Dylan asked me and I turned to Lucas.“Austin can never win against me, Luc. No one can,” I told him and he got more confused.“What are you sayin
Melissa’s POV: While dancing slowly with Dylan, I couldn’t help but glance around to see if Emily and Aiden could be seen.“Their meeting is going to last for a long time, I guess,” Dylan said and I blinked my eyes wide, looking at him.“How did you know that I was…?” I started.“I know, worrying about Emily,” he added and I lowered my eyes. “It’s okay. I don’t mind,” he said, smiling.“I am just worrying about how her meeting with Mr. Bill is going. This internship is very important for her. I hope she gets it. But why is this Bill guy taking so much time with each student?” I asked in frustration.“Oh, I am thinking the same,” Aria’s voice reached me as she moved towards me, while dancing slowly with Mason.“Do you think we should go and check on them?” I asked her, moving my hands away from Dylan.“Yes, we can,” Aria agreed.“No you guys cannot. Mr. Martin clearly told us that only those ten students should be around the staircase. He didn’t want any extra crowd there,” Mason poin
Emily’s POV: I was happy and excited to attend the party where I was going to meet Mr. Bill. I felt proud to be on Mr. Martin’s list and realized how my hard work finally paid off after so many years. With a smile on my face, I looked at myself in the mirror as I got dressed in an olive green knee-length A-line dress. The neckline was heart-shaped, and I left my hair loose on my shoulders."Be your best today, Emily," I told myself, taking a deep breath. Suddenly, the door swung open, and Aiden walked in, wearing a black suit with a black shirt and shiny black oxford shoes.“You look…” I stopped there as I adored him from up to down.“Hot?” he asked, walking inside. “Sexy? Handsome?” he asked further and reached my dressing table."Yes, everything you just said," I replied with a smile. "By the way, you've stopped knocking before entering the room since our first night together," I complained."Yep, because now I'm allowed to see you naked. So you can be in any condition, and I can w
Emily’s POV: I couldn't calm my breathing. My body was frozen in place, except for my eyes, which blinked rapidly. Nervousness, anxiety, and excitement washed over me. I recalled Aria's words and realized how wonderful it was to be with him. To feel his hands all over my body. To feel the warmth of his body against mine. To smell his pleasant scent so close. It had been incredible from the beginning when he kissed me to this moment, where I was lying in front of him, my legs spread apart and my chest heaving in anticipation as he held his erection, preparing to enter me.As his erection brushed against my vagina, I flinched and gasped, my heart racing."Relax. Just don't tighten up. Keep yourself loose," he suggested. I gulped and nodded, trusting him completely. With my heart skipping beats, I looked into his eyes as he slid his fingers between mine and moved forward, slowly sliding himself into me."Aah!" I let out a loud cry, moving my head up and grabbing his shoulder with my rig
Emily’s POV: I kept looking into his eyes as he moved his hands down to my waist and pulled me closer, making me gasp and swallow hard."I love you very much," he said, while I kept breathing heavily. "And because I love you, I don't want to rush into anything you're not comfortable with," he added. I blinked widely, realizing how understanding and considerate he was. I felt proud of myself for loving a guy who was selfless and humane, despite being an animal.“I don’t want you to feel any kind of pressure because you’re going through a lot right now. I want you to know that you can feel comfortable around me because we don’t have to do anything right now. It all can wait,” he told me and I blinked my eyes rapidly, feeling more love and passion for the man in front of me.“No,” I started and took a breath, before clenching his sleeves to keep him as close as possible. “I don’t want to wait. And I don’t want you to wait either,” I added and he kept staring into my eyes for a few secon
