Emily’s POV: After the classes, we walked out of the building while Oliver kept telling us about Lewisburg, his home town where he went to meet his Nana. “So we’ll go to Lewisburg someday. All four of us” Oliver said excitedly. “It’ll be fun…” Aria jumped up in excitement. “I know, right…?” Oliver replied in excitement. “Okay, calm down…” Melissa said and rolled her eyes while I was thinking about something. “Em…?” Melissa called me out placing her hand on my shoulder. “Yes?” I asked her. “What is it? Are you thinking something?” Melissa asked me. “Yes, um… I ah… I need to go to the parlor today” I said to them. “So?” Aria asked me. “So…” I cleared my throat and added, “I think I am going to quit” “Is everything okay, Em? Why do you want to quit?” Melissa asked me. “Yes… You told me your workplace is this cute little ice cream parlor. Why would anyone quit from there? You must get to eat free ice cream everyday” Oliver added and Aria chuckled. “Oliver…? I didn’t work th
Aiden’s POV: “Everything is settled, Aiden…” Dylan walked to me as I was sitting on the couch, having a drink. “All done?” I asked him in shock. “Yes… What do you expect? I am going to be an event organizer very soon” Dylan said proudly while Lucas chuckled. “Yeah… Then there’ll be a news. ‘Wolves are organizing things nowadays’. That’d be nice to hear” Lucas added and I and Mason chuckled. “Not funny… I didn’t sit for a second since we decided about this party and they guy… for whom we are doing all this is sitting here, having a drink in style” Dylan sarcastically added. “So you love this work. I don’t…” I said arrogantly. “I don’t love this work. Your dad has made me love it…” He said and sat down next to me. “Tell me what do you want in food?” Dylan asked me with his tablet in his hand. “A deer…” I replied. “Oh yeah…” Mason said and chuckled. “Be serious…” Dylan warned us and added to me, “What do we need for the food? What these people like?” “I don’t know, Dylan… I d
Emily’s POV: I kept looking at the luxuriously designed invitation card which evidently declared that the party was going to be grand. The bold and elegant words embossed in thick gold foil clearly stated Aiden’s full name on the top who was inviting the people on Thursday night for a grand party. The card was black in color in which everything was written with that gold foil and enclosed with gold borders. The card looked opulent. “This card looks… amazing” I said in astonishment. “I know, right?” Aria said and began to adore the card. “But Em, how you don’t know about this party?” Melissa asked me in confusion. “Because, I – I didn’t get in card…” I said to her. “What?” Melissa asked in shock. “Why? You also got it?” I asked her, startled. “Em… Everyone in the school got it. Even, everyone in the town got it” Melissa revealed. “Yes, you just come out of the library and see… The whole school is talking about this. I mean, it seems like it is going to be the most luxurious pa
Emily’s POV: “The – the card is not there” Aria said while looking at the doorstep. I was disappointed and I felt my heart getting a little heavy because of that. I shouldn’t be feeling sad or disappointed. Why my heart is getting heavy? I shouldn’t expect Aiden to involve me in his life. But he invited everyone in the school and even in the town then why not me? Am I the only one who didn’t get the card or are there any others like me who are Aiden’s non-favorites? I kept thinking. “This is not done…” Melissa said angrily and I came back from my thoughts. I blinked my eyes and tried to calm myself down and not feel sad anymore. “Mel… It’s okay…” I said and rubbed my forehead while gulping and added, “I – I kind of expected this” “What?” Aria asked me in confusion. I turned to her and chuckled nervously before adding, “Of course, Aria… Why will he invite me to his party? I mean… Don’t you know our history? I wouldn’t blame him…” “Em… Considering your history with him… If it were
Emily’s POV: “No we are not, Oliver…” Melissa repeated. “Yes we are…” Oliver was persistent. “No we are not because Emily is not coming…” Aria told him. “Emily…? Why? Why would you do that? Don’t do that please…” Oliver said and before I could say anything in my defense, he added, “See if you are doing this because of what Aiden do then you are wrong here because…” “Oliver – Oliver calm down…” I said raising my hands up in the air. “How can I come to this party when I am not invited?” I asked him further. “What? What – what do you mean? So, you didn’t get the card?” Oliver asked me in shock. “No…” I told him with a heavy heart. “Are you serious? So – so it wasn’t on your doorstep?” Oliver asked me. “No…” I replied. “Did you check everywhere around your doorstep?” Oliver asked further. “Yes, Oliver… I checked everywhere…” I told him. “Oh my…” He started and then jumped up to add, “Oh wait… What if – what if he forgot to give you the card? I mean the whole town is invited so
Aiden’s POV: I was in the living area, drinking with Mason when Dylan entered in the house with a guy and two girls behind him. “Aiden…” Dylan called my name out. “What? Who are they?” I asked him as he walked towards me. “They are the people who are going to help us getting dressed tonight” Dylan told me and I rolled my eyes. “Seriously? Can’t we wear our clothes on our own? We need girls for that?” Mason asked and chuckled. “Mason, they have brought some outfits for us and they want us to try them on and then decide…” Dylan cleared it out. “I will wear anything… I don’t need them…” I said carelessly and continued to drink while those people stood far in front of me with their hands clasped together. “Aiden… It’s a formal party. You need to wear something – something elegant and – and luxurious… You can’t just wear your hoodie or your shirt and roll your sleeves up and move around the party like that…” Dylan said. “Dylan, I don’t…” I started. “Aiden, it’s okay… He’s right.
*One hour ago* Melissa’s POV: Our cab arrived at the venue as we were talking about how Emily couldn’t be there for us. We got out of the car and took a look at the most beautiful architecture. “Oh my god, it’s beautiful…” Aria said while adoring the house. “I know, man… It’s… Woah…” I said in astonishment and we kept looking while everyone was entering through the main gate. We walked inside while looking at the arrangements made with lanterns and fairy lights all around the garden area which gave a beautiful effect on the house. Many people had already arrived before us as we entered in the house and noticed some of our schoolmates. “I wish Emily was here to witness such a gorgeous décor…” I said to Aria. “Yeah… It would have been so much fun…” Aria said. “Let’s go to the bar and drink something, no?” I asked her. “Yeah sure…” Aria said and we walked to the bar while watching everyone dancing and enjoying themselves. “They have made arrangements in the house too” Aria point
Emily’s POV: I stood there recalling all the memories associated with the Mile road. I couldn’t help but think of all the things that happened there. It was scary to recall them. I gulped and looked through the long road which I had to pass to get to Aiden’s place. That time no one was there to help me. Aiden wasn’t there. My heart was breathing heavily as I looked at the huge palm trees swaying due to wind. I shut my eyes and pumped some confidence in myself and began to walk. I was walking briskly looking straight and didn’t bother to look to my sides thereby avoiding to witness anything scary. I kept breathing heavily and kept walking along with the moon light which was directly up on me. I grunted again in pain due to my back and regretted my decision to sleep that way the other night. I was feeling something which was different. I never felt that before in my life. Those feelings were a combination of anxiety, fear, nervousness, excitement and disquietedness. I was feeling uneasy
Aiden’s POV: I kept looking at the Maester and lowered my head for a moment before looking back at him. “I understand that, Maester. But I’d like to respectfully tell you something,” I said and took a step forward, looking into his eyes. “I won’t let anyone hurt her even if it means going against my pack and getting killed. And about me… You can kill me. I don’t mind but I want you to make sure that she would not be bothered again ever in her life.” I added.“What are you saying, Aiden?” Dylan whispered to me bitterly from behind, while I stood confidently in front of the Maester.“We cannot kill you, Aiden,” The Maester. “Now that you’re the alpha, it’s not possible to kill you,” he added and took another step forward. “But that girl…”“That girl should not be harmed. It’d turn me against my community, Maester,” I said sharply and he kept looking at me for a few seconds before looking away.“I heard about the fight. I know how immensely you love that human. But make sure that she st
Dylan’s POV: As Aiden and Austin moved towards each other, I turned to look at Emily and immediately carried her up in my arms to take her to a side. Suddenly, I saw Austin taking a leap towards Emily but Aiden attacked him from behind, digging his nails into Austin’s flesh and he screeched. Austin jumped out of Aiden’s grip and turned around to face him. They both glared into each other’s eyes and then growled before pacing forward and jumped up in the air, grabbing each other. Aiden once again dug his nails into Austin’s back and pulled him down to the ground with a thud after which he bit Austin on his shoulder and he wailed. I could see Aiden’s frustration in his eyes, the way he was biting and scratching Austin. Their fight continued for almost twenty minutes and they both seemed equally strong for each other. Finally, as Austin was injured and stepped down on his knees for a while, Aiden jumped up from behind and grabbed Austin, turning him around and pinning him to the ground.
Aiden’s POV: I kept walking towards Austin’s house while my pack paced ahead of me as I had planned. Suddenly, we heard Emily scream and I halted in my track.“It’s her, right?” Dylan asked me and I clenched my jaws, my eyes welling up.“He’s doing the biggest mistake of his life,” I added bitterly. “He’s going to die horribly,” I added.“Aiden, you need to calm down. She’ll be alright, don’t worry,” Mason said and I took a breath, before proceeding to walk forward. Finally we reached the house and I observed the surroundings closely to check how many wolves were there. I nodded at Dylan who signaled some of our men to go ahead from the left side while some went towards the right with dad leading them. I stood there in the middle, planning my way to kill Austin.Soon after we heard some howls and I realized that everyone there had turned. I was ready to turn too and proceed forward. However, my heart was racing with anxiety as I feared to see Emily. I didn’t want to see her in pain.
Aiden’s POV: He kept looking at me for a few seconds before taking a breath and lowering his head down.“Look, Aiden,” he started, rubbing his forehead with his fingertip. “I know you love her and if anything will happen to her then you’d be devastated. I don’t hate your relationship with her more than I care about you,” he added. “So I am going to come with you. They will help us,” he said confidently.“Us? Are you going to fight Austin with us?” Dylan asked him.“Of course. I cannot let Aiden be alone in this war,” he replied and placed his hand on my shoulder. I couldn’t believe him and kept looking at him wondering if he was the same person who hated my relationship with Emily so much that he wanted to kill her. Now he himself was ready to help me save her life.“Well, thanks. Shall we go now?” I asked and he nodded before we walked away from there.Dylan called everyone from our pack at our land’s clearing and they were quick enough to reach there within half an hour as their Al
Aiden’s POV: My blood was boiling thinking about how Austin managed to take Emily away from me. I promised her that I’d protect her at any cost and I failed. It made me feel disappointed in myself as I had her bracelet clenched in my hand.“Austin won. He took her away,” Lucas said in disappointment. “How the hell are we going to find her?” he added in frustration.“I know how,” I said and reached out for my phone in my pocket while they continued to look at me in confusion.“What are you doing?” Dylan asked me.“Are you calling Austin?” Mason asked as I began to call someone.“Hello,” I said as the person answered the phone. “Phil, did you do it?”“Yes, sir. I have got it,” Phil replied.“Great, where?” I asked.“Sir, I am sending you.” He replied.“Okay,” I said and hung up the call while a small smirk graced my face.“Who did you call?” Dylan asked me and I turned to Lucas.“Austin can never win against me, Luc. No one can,” I told him and he got more confused.“What are you sayin
Melissa’s POV: While dancing slowly with Dylan, I couldn’t help but glance around to see if Emily and Aiden could be seen.“Their meeting is going to last for a long time, I guess,” Dylan said and I blinked my eyes wide, looking at him.“How did you know that I was…?” I started.“I know, worrying about Emily,” he added and I lowered my eyes. “It’s okay. I don’t mind,” he said, smiling.“I am just worrying about how her meeting with Mr. Bill is going. This internship is very important for her. I hope she gets it. But why is this Bill guy taking so much time with each student?” I asked in frustration.“Oh, I am thinking the same,” Aria’s voice reached me as she moved towards me, while dancing slowly with Mason.“Do you think we should go and check on them?” I asked her, moving my hands away from Dylan.“Yes, we can,” Aria agreed.“No you guys cannot. Mr. Martin clearly told us that only those ten students should be around the staircase. He didn’t want any extra crowd there,” Mason poin
Emily’s POV: I was happy and excited to attend the party where I was going to meet Mr. Bill. I felt proud to be on Mr. Martin’s list and realized how my hard work finally paid off after so many years. With a smile on my face, I looked at myself in the mirror as I got dressed in an olive green knee-length A-line dress. The neckline was heart-shaped, and I left my hair loose on my shoulders."Be your best today, Emily," I told myself, taking a deep breath. Suddenly, the door swung open, and Aiden walked in, wearing a black suit with a black shirt and shiny black oxford shoes.“You look…” I stopped there as I adored him from up to down.“Hot?” he asked, walking inside. “Sexy? Handsome?” he asked further and reached my dressing table."Yes, everything you just said," I replied with a smile. "By the way, you've stopped knocking before entering the room since our first night together," I complained."Yep, because now I'm allowed to see you naked. So you can be in any condition, and I can w
Emily’s POV: I couldn't calm my breathing. My body was frozen in place, except for my eyes, which blinked rapidly. Nervousness, anxiety, and excitement washed over me. I recalled Aria's words and realized how wonderful it was to be with him. To feel his hands all over my body. To feel the warmth of his body against mine. To smell his pleasant scent so close. It had been incredible from the beginning when he kissed me to this moment, where I was lying in front of him, my legs spread apart and my chest heaving in anticipation as he held his erection, preparing to enter me.As his erection brushed against my vagina, I flinched and gasped, my heart racing."Relax. Just don't tighten up. Keep yourself loose," he suggested. I gulped and nodded, trusting him completely. With my heart skipping beats, I looked into his eyes as he slid his fingers between mine and moved forward, slowly sliding himself into me."Aah!" I let out a loud cry, moving my head up and grabbing his shoulder with my rig
Emily’s POV: I kept looking into his eyes as he moved his hands down to my waist and pulled me closer, making me gasp and swallow hard."I love you very much," he said, while I kept breathing heavily. "And because I love you, I don't want to rush into anything you're not comfortable with," he added. I blinked widely, realizing how understanding and considerate he was. I felt proud of myself for loving a guy who was selfless and humane, despite being an animal.“I don’t want you to feel any kind of pressure because you’re going through a lot right now. I want you to know that you can feel comfortable around me because we don’t have to do anything right now. It all can wait,” he told me and I blinked my eyes rapidly, feeling more love and passion for the man in front of me.“No,” I started and took a breath, before clenching his sleeves to keep him as close as possible. “I don’t want to wait. And I don’t want you to wait either,” I added and he kept staring into my eyes for a few secon
