CHAPTER FIFTY

Aurora walked into the quiet house.

Damn George! She thought. 

Why did she have to meet him at such crucial times?

She had been left with no choice but as he had driven her back, it had taken even much longer because the path he had followed had been flooded by the heavy rain. He had kept mentioning his failing marriage with Cassandra. 

Aurora scoffed inwardly. As if she cared! What had been his aim? Some sympathy from her? 

If not for them, her Sammie would never have to suffer so much before his painful end, that was a grievance that she would never forgive neither would she forget, not even in her death! 

She had vowed to make them pay, maybe George had stepped into her life for exactly that purpose. 

But revenge wouldn't bring Sammie back to life, maybe instead of hating on worthless people, she should spend all her time giving love to those who deserved it.  Bu
