Alexia's POV Ethan drove us to work this morning. The drive was relatively beautiful except for his driving like a maniac. We arrived at Blackwood's company a bit late and as Ethan and I walked into the company together, many of the staff who saw us coming in together, turned to stare at us, whispering amongst themselves as they pointed at us. It dawned on me that this is the first time Ethan and I have come to work together since we got married. Little wonder the whole office seems to be abuzz with it. He is proposing some sort of partnership between Blackwoods and his firm on a web project they are about embarking on.I and Lukas go way back, due to the fact that we run in the same circle and often meet in some of the Elites parties we are sometimes invited to. We may not be friends, but I have always respected him for his integrity and intelligence that has been spoken highly of over the years. His father, Benjamin Rodriguez just retired from being the CEO of Rodriguez group of companies about two months ago, thereby making Lukas the new CEO. Benjamin is one of Dad's friends and they’ve done some business transactions together in the past. However this is the first time Lukas is approaching me for a contract of this magnitude. Alexia’s POV “Alexia please wait up” someone yelled. I turned around to find out who the person was. One of the staff from the Human Resources department, a pretty brunette, was hurrying to catch up with me. I slowed to a halt to enable her catch up with me. Sally or Celine, I think her name is Sally finally catches up with me. She exudes wealth and class. Alexia’s POV I can't recognize the beautiful lady staring back at me. She looks like an angel. Her blue eyes are lined by black eyeliner. Alexia’s POV “This is absolutely stunning. I can’t believe we’re dining in a place like this. It feels like something out of a dream.” I said admiring the surroundings.We are sitting across from each other at the table. Her positive energy is so contagious, that temporarily forgot about the outcome of my meeting with my Dad earlier, as regards the position of the CEO.She is real and genuine, with her there is no pretense, no ulterior motives. The project Team of Blackwoods company which comprises of Sharon, Mira and Grace the three Ladies who came along with Kenneth to my office, to break the news about the Glasgow project. They left my office a few minutes ago, leaving me with Kenneth. Although Kenneth is ordinarily with the IT department of Blackwoods, however because of his insight and expertise in researching lucrative areas for the company to invest in, I brought him into my special project Team. I turned to stare at my cousin, wondering why he is still here in my office, and whether my decision to bring him to my project Team was a good idea. “Ethan, I know this project meant a lot to you, and I understand your anger, I'm really sorry we lost the project” he said, sounding sincere.
