Lucas’s POV

“I'm Alexander Smith,” The man said with an obvious fake smile creased on his face as he approached my desk.

I had an eyebrow raised staring back at him, without responding. My eyes trailed off to the file he had in one hand and the other he had shoved into the pockets of his pants.

“Can I?” He added as he gestured to the chair in front of me. But then the look I gave him, made it quite clear that he was interrupting the thoughts in my head.

“What brings you here Mr…” I said.

“Alexander!” He cuts in, grinning at me.

“Smith,” I responded, and then averted my eyes like I’d gotten disgusted over his response.

“Such lovely day isn’t it?” Alexander said. Breaking the silence between us as I had my eyes glued to the screen of my laptop.
