Tristan slowed down a bit the moment he noticed that they stopped, he thought of something and quickly picked up his speed again. For him to have done that, he must have probably suspected that they are being followed.

He drove past them and changed the route, he won't be going back to the hotel this night. He will need to find somewhere else to sleep this night, probably lodge at another hotel.
