She walked into the kitchen and started preparing her meal. All of a sudden, she hit her leg on a large cupboard. She screamed and fell on the floor. Alfred could hear her scream clearly from the sitting room. He had been sitting there and scrolling his mobile phone. He dropped the phone on the couch and rushed to the kitchen. When he got to the kitchen, he met Magdalene in an unconscious state. “OMG!” he screamed. He quickly got a bowlful of water from the table. He emptied the bowl on Magdalene’s body. Magdalene stretched out her legs and arms. She coughed and opened her eyes gently. Alfred was very happy to see his wife. He displayed his set of teeth and raised Magdalene from the floor. As soon as Magdalene stood up from the floor, water started dripping from her gown.“What happened, darling?”

He was dressed in a polo and black trousers because of the heat. He quickly entered his car and drove the car away. All through the journey to the hospital, Alfred was thanking God for sustaining the lives of mother and child. He could remember vividly the cases of parents who lost their lives in the course of giving birth. Alfred’s wish had always been for Magdalene to give birth safely.
