Evelyn clutched a basket and walked out of the kitchen. When she got to the sitting room, she saw Mason sitting on a couch and reading newspapers. Landon was sitting beside Mason on the couch, the youngster was flipping and glancing through the pages of a photo book. “Well done, father and child,” Evelyn said. Mason raised his head up and said, “Thank you, Evelyn. Since you said I listen to news on the television too often, I have resolved to read newspapers.”

“That’s very good,” Evelyn said. Landon raised his head up, he fixed his gaze on the basket in Evelyn’s right hand. “Where are you going to, mum?” Landon said.

“Son, I am not here for you; keep glancing through the book. Mason, I am going over to professor MacPherson’s house. I need to give Ayla her lunch,” Evelyn said.
