Carol got right to the point and asked if he was serious about her mom. Hayden replied that he was. Carol said that he better be, as all she cared about was her mom's happiness. She had never seen her mom this alive and this happy, and she didn't want her to get hurt. Hayden explained to Carol that he felt the same way. He then complimented her on her choice of clothing she picked out for her mom for her visit to DC. Carol blushed deep red and then laughed. "It worked, didn't it?"
