CHAD
May 17th 2018
"Hey, Chad!"
I come to a halt and turn to see who was calling out to me."Hey, August, what's up?" I reply as I wait for her to catch up.
"Is it true, what everyone's saying?" She whispers discreetly.
"That a sick mother fucker was murdered in the East Wing of the club by one of the girls or that, they tossed his body in a drum and dumped him in the bin like trash?" I raise my brows at her, knowing that I am not being as discreet with the facts as I should.
She gasps, clamping a hand over her mouth. "So it's true then?" She continues to stare at me with eyes larger than saucers.
"Yes, August. It's true, all of it is true." I sigh, running a hand through my hair with frustration.
Today I'm chilling out in the West Wing of the club. On this side of the building, you come to get a body massage with the possibility of getting a happy ending.
LISAMay 17th 2018I sit up, clutching the side rails of my bed as I watch my knuckles turn white. I need to use the bathroom and I'm sick of ringing the damn bell, waiting for a nurse to fart arse about looking for a bedpan before I can take a piss.I repetitively press the button that's hooked up to the morphine. A few seconds later, a chill runs through my veins, followed by an overwhelming sense of giddiness.I swing my legs over the side of the hospital bed, wincing as my bare feet touch the cold surface of the floor. I wince a second time as I rip the IV drip from my hand. Not because it hurt. But, as I watch the amount of blood streaming from the tiny hole, it reflects that it would have stung like a bitch. I can not help but admire the scarlet red liquid in all its glory as it cascades down the side of my hand, staining the floor with tiny droplets. On wobbly feet, I stand, trying to put all my
LAYLA May 17th 2018. I lay back on the bonnet of the car in the carpark to CLUBROOMs. I observe as the horizon gradually begins to shift. The flock of birds disperses over the sky just before dusk. "What the fuck are you doing here, Layla?" I sigh, knowing this isn't going to be easy but it needs to be done. I jump off the bonnet of his car and hold out the backpack full of money. "I came to return this and to say I'm sorry." He rips the backpack from my grasp, opening it up to check how much is inside. "Most of it's there. I spent three hundred on a room, food and a change of clothes." I offer him an explanation. He roughly closes the bag up again and glares at me. "Do you know the amount of chaos you have caused me?" He mutters. "No, but I'm pretty sure I have a fair idea." I look past him. My eyes look out into the distance to whe
CADDIE May 17th 2018 I eagerly await Mal's arrival. I am holding Vanko accountable for his promise to bring her over so I can witness for myself how well she is doing. To be quite honest, I have already changed my clothing three times, touched up my makeup every twenty minutes since 8 a.m., and sprayed a shitload of my favourite perfume on. All of this is to prepare for the possibility that he will come to the door and catch a glimpse of me. I want him to fully grasp what he is missing. I reapply clear lipgloss to my lips, comb my fingers through my hair, and return my gaze to Jaxson, who is currently having his first nap of the day. I stand by his crib, keeping a watchful eye on him. My face curls into a gradual smile. Even though he has Ace's blood coursing through his veins, I will always love him unconditionally, and while I have no idea where Ace has gone, to be honest, I could not care less.
MADDIE May 17th 2018 I pull up outside the club dressed entirely in black and wearing a blonde wig underneath the Patriots cap I found under the passenger front seat. I remove the petrol can from the car I rented from another town. I gave Chad 24 hours to contact me and re-offer my job with a few extra perks. It's now been 28 hours, and my patience with his idiocy has run out. "Time's up, mother fucker." I hiss aloud. It's 11 p.m., and everyone should be at home scrubbing themselves clean of the fifth their bodies have sustained throughout the day. While I sat across the street this morning, I noticed that the club's east wing had been temporarily closed. The large sign that read: 'CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE' Could be seen from the main road. I had intended to set fire to the entire building. However, I've changed my mind and I have chosen to ignite the east wing first. Just to dem
MALAYINAMay 22nd 2018The sun is obscured as the clouds shift and the beautiful sky turns gloomy. I stand with Caddie and Chad under the big willow tree as the rain starts to cascade upon us.As the last speech is being said by Laylas parents, I wipe the lone tear that glides down my flush cheeks. My heart breaks for them. I know what it is like to have someone ripped out of your life at the hands of another.Ice begins to crystallize in my veins.A mother should never have to bury her sweet, sweet princess. The casket begins to drop into the pit, people gather around the gravesite, placing their red roses on top as they whisper their final goodbyes.Today is Laylas funeral.Yesterday was Maddies.I'm still trying to come to terms that they're gone. I look over at Chad. Caddie has her arms wrapped around him like fire bands as his body trembles.
MALAYINAMay 22nd 2018"You always know how to push my fucking buttons, mikros!" (Little one) He hisses. He reaches into his pocket, pulls out his phone, tapping on the screen and presses it to his ear. "Bring the bastard back into the room." He snaps, his eyes never leaving mine.A cold chill snakes up my spine as he steps back and starts to remove his suit jacket. "Put it on." He demands holding it out towards me.I snatch it from his grasp and drape it over my shoulders as I glare at him. "Happy now?" I ask him sarcastically. He reaches out and starts to button the jacket up. "Satisfied enough." He grumbles. The door flies open and Vanko walks in with Dane by his side. "On your knees!"Dane looks at me with regret in his eyes as he kneels in front of Amar. "Did you enjoy tongue fucking my wife?" Amar slaps Dane across the face.I wince as the slapping sound echoes through the
CHAD May 22nd 2018 The loud crackling sound of fire echoes in my ears as burning phantom pains lick my skin. My eyelids feel heavy as I look through clouds of tears that haven't subsided in multiple days. They say time heals all wounds. Whoever said that needs a bullet between the eyes the lying bastards. I squeeze my eyes shut, trying to concentrate on elevating my breathing. With every passing day, my screams of remorse fill the rooms in my home. My sense of seclusion in my house has been shattered as the terrors of that fatal night that claimed Layla, Maddie and my Club haunt me day and night. "Chad? Did you hear what I said?" I slowly draw the curtains up, revealing my brown eyes as I look at detective Evie. "No, sorry," I admit, brushing a hand over my face as I release a shaky breath. "Are you sure you're up for this? We can always do this another day wh
CADDIE May 22nd 2018 I raise my eyes to the dark sea, strewn with flecks of light. The view is stunning, as the full moon stands high in the sky, illuminating the neighbourhood. I wrap my blanket tighter around my body as I sit on the cold steps, sipping on a cup of coffee. For the past twenty minutes, I've done nothing but think about how lucky I am to still be alive and appreciate the little things I have. I turn my head, looking back at the building over my shoulder as I can hear my phone ringing in the kitchen and I ignore it. Today we said our farewells to Layla and for some unexplainable reason, I feel quite emotional. I held Jaxson for two hours straight, staring down at him as he slept peacefully in my arms. I cried, kissing his head multiple times as I whispered in his ear, 'Thank you for choosing me to be your mum.' Most days I feel unworthy of his
MALAYINA March 14 2019 I stir in my sleep, reaching across the bed to find it empty. I'm alone and a pang of disappointment caresses my tired self. The sun is peaking through the windows and the soothing sound of waves crashing against the shoreline from a distance fills the room. I shift about, rolling onto my side and maneuver myself off the bed. As I exit the room I can hear voices from downstairs along with the clattering sound of dishes. I descend the stairs and my body starts to ache. I ache everywhere, thanks to my insatiable husband. I brush my fingertips along the crook of my neck. My body is like a canvas with Amar painting me with his affection of love. The stroking of his tongue, the feather-light kisses he unapologetically plants everywhere, and his soft, demanding fingers kneading every inch of my body all contribute to the creation of a picture of love. I belong to him an
AMAR June 05 2018 "Amar.." I look up from the man that is tied to a chair bleeding and my gaze clashes with Vankos. He is scowling with his phone in his hand. "What is it?" I flick my wrists. Blood splatters across the floor, staining the white carpet and I pick up the rag on the table using it to wipe my grazed knuckles. I look over my shoulder to one of my soldiers standing in the corner of the room. He has his gun pointed at the unlucky son of a bitch I was just giving a face beating to. "Take him back to his room, clean his face and give him something hot to eat," I demand. "I don't want the bastard dying on me before he gives up any information." "Yes, Lord Amar." His voice travels down the corridors with me as I follow Vanko out of the room. "What's wrong?" I ask him, continuing to clean the blood from my knuckles. "It's Mal." He says with
MALAYINA04 June 2018I look around the room for the third time making sure I've packed everything as I zip my bag up. I look over to the door that connects my room to Amars and my heart starts to feel heavy as I come to realise that this is it. Any chances of me saying my farewells to him are gone. After we executed his grandfather he made it very clear that I was free to leave and when he stormed out of the room without another word or second glance over his shoulder... I was left standing in the room stupefied staring at his lifeless grandfather on the bed.I have to admit,I had no idea what to anticipate from him. However, I was not expecting those words to come from his mouth in light of what he had previously said to me.All the promises he made of him claiming me was nothing but all talk and oddly I feel like crying.I honestly dont know what the hell is going on with me, but, what I do
CHAD02 June 2018I look up at the slender high rise building while I scratch the back of my head. I've made an executive decision to try and get my shit together by applying for a job that will make a difference in the world.I'm applying, no, scrub that.I am volunteering to be a big brother in the B.B.B.S.N.Z (Big Brothers, Big Sisters, New Zealand.) Mentoring Foundation. Thanks to detective Evie for reaching out to me when I was down in the dumps two days ago.She picked me up in an unmarked patrol car, taking the scenic route through the southside under the bridge where all the little hoodrats and homeless kids hang out."This is the hardest part of the job." She said with her words heavily coated in anguish. "These kids will never have the tools to live a fruitful life. This right here is as good as it gets for them, unless, someone steps up and tries to get these kids off the street
MALAYINA June 02 2018 I lay on my back, staring up at the ceiling as I claw at the bedding beneath my hands. My nostrils flare as I breathe heavily, trying to keep my tongue pressed against the roof of my mouth. As Mr Diamandis lets out a boisterous laugh, his whole body trembles above me and he shakes the bed at the same time. He glances down at me with his cat green eyes full of danger and amusement crosses his face. He twists his neck, looking back at Amar. "I'm going to pop her cherry first, then I'm going to watch my men fuck her before I shoot your fucking brains out and fly back home to Greece." He moves the gun he has pressed against my temple, sliding it down my body, between my breasts and torso until he points it at my vagina. "I always wondered what your whore of a mother tasted like." He cackles venomously. "Doesn't matter now that I finally have my hands-on you." "Yo
MALAYINA June 02 2018 True to his word, Amar has managed to lure his grandfather into the country. He has arranged a fake auction for young girls, bringing the most corrupt and filthy rich men out to play. He said he wants to clean up the streets if he is to become the new Don of the Diamandis Family business. He won't stand by and watch his men degrade females while tarnishing his name. Vanko, a.k.a. Mini Hulk, has recruited a group of guys to maintain security and notify the authorities when the time comes for me to eliminate the old bastard who stole my life. If Vanko's calculations are correct, it should take the cops roughly forty minutes to swarm the joint given our location on the outskirts of the city. Amar and Vanko have sworn to me that everything is in order and that all I have to worry about is playing my part by acting like I am drugged and I have no recognition of the man I'm ab
