42 Betrayal

Aaron dismissed Angad immediately. He ordered, “As soon as Nina woke up, inform me.” Angad nodded and left the room immediately. After a few minutes, a lady nurse collected Elaina’s blood sample per Aaron’s order.

“Keep it safe until I order,” Aaron decreed. The lady nurse nodded in fear and left. Aaron closed his eyes. A beautiful smiling face appeared before him. His sweet or sour memories flashed before him. He snapped open his eyes with heavy breathing. He glanced at Elaina and sighed with unbearable pain. Gripping roughly over his emotion, he walked away in the corridor.

There was a musical night party tonight. He got ready on time, but Elaina was still sleeping. He locked her in the room and left for the party. Myra asked, “Where is Elaina?”

“She is sleeping, Mom,” Aaron replied with a smirk.

“She can't.”

“She is,” Aaron grunted. He chuckled softly, hiding his emotions. He explained, “Her health is weak, so I can't let her dance tonight. She needs rest, so she is.”
