Jake's POV

When I entered the shop, I received repeated greetings, but I couldn't smile. Right now, I don't know how to stop the anger building up in my chest, even though I haven't seen Jamie yet, I can feel my muscles shaking.

"Where is she?" I quickly asked as soon as I approached her secretary who was standing on the side, as before there was no change in his treatment of me. I can feel his hostility, but we both can't do anything.

"Inside, shopping for a design of curtains to be used in the venue." His voice was cold and he quickly looked away from me.

"Then why are you here, why didn't you accompany her inside?" I asked again even though I knew he didn't want to talk to me.
