"Madam, the car is ready." She was interrupted by the lady staff, Rosie, once again, and her voice startled her.

"Ask him to keep the car back. I'm not going." Jenny said, without looking at Rosie.

"Okay, madam!" Rosie walked out, leaving a tense Jenny in the hall.

Once she was out, Jenny called the one who she knew might be responsible for it.

"Hunter!" she said in a deep voice, making him realize the topic she must have called.

"Jenny!" The same tone he used for answering her call.

“I’m sure I don’t have to ask you about breaking news and whether you know about it or not.”

“What are you talking about, Jenny? Please be precise.” Hunter acted oblivious as he asked. He very well knew what she was asking about, but he loved taunting her.

“Do I need to remind you about our meeting that day and what all you made me do?” Jenny asked, in a pissed tone.

*Flashback*

Hunter stepped into a restaurant, looking at his watch. It was 9 pm sharp and thankfully; he was on time. Letting out a

Dreading to hear something that he might have had to refuse and amazed at the timing, he received the call.“Good evening, Sir. How are you?” He asked politely.“Good evening, Viaan. Kiara informed Leena, when she got back from Ryan's house, about the party and said that she might be staying at her friend's apartment tonight as she was also going to get ready with her. Leena was happy to know that because in her view, at least she was having her freedom, not like she suspected that Viaan would trouble her and ask her every time wherever she goes."Inform me when you reach there," Leena asked Kiara as she was ready to go."I'll text you when I get there, Aunty. See you tomorrow." Kiara hugged her and walked out of the Villa. She had a backpack that had the party dress and the night stay at her friend's. Writer’s POV:-A husky chuckle resonated in the sweetly scented room. Viaan couldn’t contain it in himself and let it out, making her whine more. All she wanted right now was his arms wrapped around her body and their lips melting into each other. The desires were taking a peek into her mind with each passing second. Kiara was having a hard time controlling the urge to dive deeper into the ocean of his fantasies tonight, which held the capacity to navigate her mind and heart to a different world where nothing else matters; just she and Viaan wrapped in each other’s embrace, away from the scrutinizing or curious eyes of the world.Tonight was the night of consummation for them… the night of love for them and with every minute delay, her patient was thinning badly. Why was he making her wait? Her needy heart wanted to remind him of his promise. But, as if he too didn’t want her to starve anymore for his love tonight, Viaan looked at her with his dilated pupils. Lust and desire were visi

Viaan’s POV:-I felt her panting in my neck, even before I did anything more than these touches. Can she be any more responsive certainly, it was turning me on like never! I can feel myself getting hard as a rock, feeling her warm quick breaths on my neck.I could control no more and separated her shivering body from mine. She had her eyes closed, sucking air through her parted lips, hungrily. I had always imagined her melting in my arms when we would make love and expected her to react sensuously & sensitively, but her shivering at just the mere touch of my fingers was beyond my imagination.Blame me if I didn’t love it equally! It’s a magnetic pull that is forcing me to do more of these tortures on her bare body… these were like drugs addicting me to get more of her reactions, to see her sexily wriggling in my arms and I’ll make sure to get it all today.I made her lie down on the bed, and she opened her eyes the moment her head touched the pillow. Those eyes she was looking at me w

Viaan's penthouse:- A fresh morning breeze entered the room ever so slowly, wrapping them both in a blissful euphoria, marking the start of the new phase of their relationship. Their passionate moments lasted the entire night and when the two drifted into slumber, it was already the crack of dawn. The sun rose at its time but oblivious to it, Viaan and Kiara took a peaceful breath in each other's arms, holding cozily onto each other. The morning felt more blissful to the couple who snuggled more in each other's arms. Under the silk duvets, their bare bodies intertwined with each other, fixing like two pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. Viaan had his arms around her waist & back and his legs entangled with Kiara's. Meanwhile, Kiara had her arms encircling his back and her face hidden in his muscular chest. Her warm breaths falling straight on his chest gave him utter peace. Being in the arms of your beloved gives you the strongest sense of belongingness and at this particular moment, both of

Closing his eyes, he inhaled a sharp breath. "No matter how much I hate him, I would never kill him, Jenny. I expect that little trust from you." His words reflected hurt and anger. Her connotations had twisted his heart once again. "I didn't say that, Hunter. I know my son and trust him. What I asked was: what was the need to make him sick? You could easily have troubled him with just this case. Isn't it strong enough to divide his attention?" Jenny sighed, tired of being stuck between these two and their rivalry. Not for once had she had a peaceful moment to herself in all these years. "He is Charles Brown; if you're forgetting. This case might divide his attention, but he is still capable of creating obstacles in my way, and at no cost, I would let him come on my way to success, especially in winning the 'Businessman of the Year award'." As soon as Hunter completed it, she was astounded. He knew all about the old man's plan. "You know?" She couldn't believe Hunter knew all about

“Ask him to wait for us, Leo. I can’t lose the chance I get to return his favors.” Viaan mumbled, his tone impatient yet nostalgic. “He stood by my side when I needed the most. I shall do the same now.” A hint of gratitude touched his words as he instructed Leo. He couldn’t help but remember all that Charles had done for him years ago. And not only that, but he had also been a better guide till now. Eventually, Viaan made himself capable of handling things on his own. Still, he couldn’t just let the kindness shown by Charles go like that. He had to repay the favors shown by him. Back in the moment, Leo understood the change in his tone, thus he said something that was satisfactory to Viaan and he nodded his head. “Sure, pick me up in fifteen minutes.” With that said to Leo, Viaan disconnected the call and kept the phone aside. He rubbed his hands on his face, releasing the tension in a deep sigh, and inhaled a deep breath again. His stiff shoulders showed the gravity of the situatio

You’ll come to know soon.”Leena scoffed audibly, narrowing her eyes at her son’s mischief, and scolded him lightly. “That ‘soon’ of yours has not come since the last three and a half hours of our journey. How long more would you keep it a secret?” Her eyes wrinkled at the corners while her nose flared in annoyance. Her anger didn’t seem to affect Viaan a bit as the man chuckled loudly. “As I said, it is a surprise, Maa. Didn’t he and his lawyer want time?” The question triggered his mind, he inquired in a disbelieving tone. The frown went deeper on his face; his eyeballs moving constantly as he tried to figure out Viaan’s step. One thing was crystal clear neither Viaan nor his lawyer saw this proposal as a simple invitation to get rid of legal troubles. Hence it was very much acceptable for his rival to seek time to agree or even deny. That’s why, even when this frustrated Hunter, he was ready for any secret investigation Viaan did on him. But little did he expect, that his acceptance would come this early and fast.He heard Daniel huffing from the other end and came out of his thoughts. “I have no idea, Sir. All he allowed me is tonight.” Kiara retorted, holding her breath in apprehension. She can hear her heart pounding in her ears, and sweat beads adorning her temples even after the decreased temperature of AC.Her words followed a silence before Sophie sighed audibly. “You have taken more than you should, Kia. You can’t avoid it any longer.
