Kiara’s POV:-

“Shut up, Kia. Just shut up!” Soph snapped, sternly. Her breathing was ragged as of an angry bull. I heard her scolding me after the silence of ten seconds. “I told you not to repeat it ever. What would you take to realize this?” Her harsh tone didn’t hurt me once, for I know she had only been wishing for my betterment.

But what do I do with this thought that kept crawling into my mind every now and then? I sniffed a long breath, my lips pressed hard between my teeth. A few warm drops finally crumbled down, wetting my lashes.

This was painful at many levels. My heart twisted agonizingly.

“Soph,” I paused, gulping the heavy lump. “Realization sometimes comes through the happenings of life. Ignoring them might be the biggest mistake.” My voice sounded groggy, as I mumbled with a heavy heart and constricted throat.
