Ryan’s Cabin:-

Pushing the door inwards slightly, Sophie knocked, “May I come in, Doctor?” Her anxious eyes moved everywhere on the floor; she could look up with all the nervousness filled in her mind and heart.

She was already restless because of Tyler when Ryan asked her to come to his cabin in fifteen minutes, saying that he had to talk about something urgent.

Now this one sentence was eating her peace until she collected herself and dragged herself to Ryan’s cabin with a thudding heart. The woman was not ready to hear anything negative regarding Tyler’s condition at this moment. Not when she had once again brought herself to believe that the new process would bring Tyler back to her soon.

She patted her forehead, wiping the sweat beads off while she waited for Ryan’s answer.

Inside, Ryan, focused on reading a file, heard Sophie's voice. He put the file down, sat up straight, and welcomed her, saying, "Yes, come in, Sophie." His calm demeanor provided a bit of comfort in the mids

“Now, let’s talk about why I called you here,” Ryan said, crossing his hands on the table. “So, first of all, I would like to advise you that you get a grip over your emotions, especially while monitoring Tyler, Miss Sophie. Because you are not just his family but also the head nurse here for many years and you are expected to act professionally at times.” He said in a serious tone, making Sophie flush in shame.Lowering her lashes, she stuttered, “I-I am sorry, sir!” “I didn’t want you to be sorry about your emotions, Miss Sophie. I understand what you're going through. I just want to remind you that you hold a professional position in this hospital. Not everyone, including doctors and nurses, will always be supportive. At some point, they might question your emotional approach to Mr. Tyler's case, putting you in an uncomfortable position. Therefore, I suggest holding back tears and anxiety when people are around. You wouldn't want them to be suspicious, would you?” Ryan's words car
