“This file has everything that we could find overnight, Sir!” Leo pointed to the file in Viaan’s hands. “Unfortunately, we couldn’t fetch much of her family information, as there was no one when we went to her former address.” His tone reflected disappointment as remembered his early morning rush to the village going in vain.

It was 7:30 am when Leo, as per his boss’ order, was present in front of Viaan with the required information. Viaan, in his home office, was sitting stoically in reading the file. His eyes were scanning every single detail written on the pages.

“Finance graduate from Eastview University. Turning 23 in a month.” Viaan read a few details aloud before his gaze fixated on a particular line.

“For now, I can make use of this information, but find them at any cost, Leo.” Viaan creased his forehead, reading that line as if tried to remember something, while he spoke to his bodyguard.

“I don’t want to risk anything. The nomination for the Businessman of the year award wil

“You are my new boss?” Kiara looked at the man sitting on the chair with a wide grin plastered on his face and her eyes widened on their own. “Hunter?” “You know him?” Robin snapped his head at the girl and then at his boss, who let out a chuckle at Kiara’s stunned face. “Robin, you may leave now.” Hunter dismissed the man when he realized that Robin was also present there. Getting the orders from his boss, Robin had to leave unwillingly. He spared a last curious glance at Kiara before walking out of the cabin. “Good morning, pretty lady!” Hunter got up from his chair and walked up to Kiara. He forwarded a hand for a shake. “You seriously are my new boss?” Kiara repeated the question in disbelief. Her forehead creased with fine lines of confusion as her mind tried to process it all. Hunter chuckled once again, pushing his hands into his pocket. “Seems so!” He teased, playfully. “What does that mean?” The answer had got her more confused. The frowns deepened on her forehead. Hu

"Alright, girls, you had enough… no touching the glass now." Keeping away the tray of shots, Ryan pulled Maya to him and Viaan & Leo did the same with their girls. It was as if the tray of shots were calling them."Hey, we aren't done yet. I'm yet to win." Maya was the first to protest; she tried to push Ryan's hands away and come out of his grip. She looked at the glasses with sparkling eyes and wiggled to get them. When Ryan didn't dodge even an inch, and tightened his hands instead, she extended her hand to reach the glass deliberately. Again, her man didn't let her fingers touch them. "You aren't getting any more," Ryan told her, softly. "Noooo," Maya whined like a child, wiggling to get her favorite chocolate. "I have to win." She pouted cutely, looking with an annoyed f

Viaan sighed in dismay, scratching his chin.It was expected, thus Leo couldn't help but shake his head slowly. "I tried to but–"Viaan cut him off abruptly. "It's not your fault, Leo." His deep voice vibrated in the cabin. He spared a glance at his tablet, then set his eyes back on Leo. "You weren't aware of that place, but they were and that's why they used it in their favor." Leo gave him a silent stare, then shook his head in disappointment. "That's what you pay me for, boss. To get things done at any cost, even when the situation is unfavorable." His tone inflicted the utter regret he was having in himself, especially after the failure of his plan. "Being your employee, it was my duty to fulfill my tasks without fail… but still, I failed." The Bar:-“Is there anyone here?” From the threshold, he called out loudly, knitting his brows down. "Welcome, Mr. Brown, I was waiting for you only!" a masculine voice welcomed him as soon as he stepped inside.Setting his jaws tight, Hunter stopped right at the exact spot. His gaze darkened at the voice. He waited for a few seconds until the lights of the room were switched on. There, as he was supposing, came the owner of the voice."I hope you didn't have trouble finding this place?" The man, whose face was covered with a face mask, came towards him and asked in a lighter tone.Hunter shifted his eyes to his mask-covered face and balled his fists."You didn't find any better place to call me?" He scolded through his gritted teeth as jaws were clenching at the messy scene. "It's not that bad!" the man replied nonchalantly, shrugging his shoulders. It was just two minutes into the conversation and Hunter had already started getting irked."Bad is not even the farthest range of wh

Writer's POV:-Mr. Smith's laboratory:-"I can't believe how rapidly they have worked on it!" Robin's appreciative tone echoed in the hallway when he and Kiara headed toward the main lab room. They arrived here a few minutes ago when they received a call from Gaby that the product had passed the first trial and was ready for further trials. She also assured them that, unlike the last time, the formula was cross-checked in multiple phases for any possible error that might come out in later stages and after being fully satisfied with the results that they have informed them. Both Robin and Kiara were ecstatic when they received the news. Immediately, they postponed the other meetings and came here to check the results personally."Indeed," Kiara grinned, looking at him, and nodded in agreement. "They were confident that two entire weeks would be all it would take to bring the needful outcome and look at the date today. It's still three days left in the deadline and the result is here."

Writer's POV:-Mr. Smith's laboratory:-"Welcome, Mr. Robin and Miss Kiara. We were waiting for you only!" Mr. Smith's loud voice greeted them as soon as they stepped inside.Robin gave him a polite nod, while Kiara stayed silent. Till today she hadn't come on polite terms with him. "How are you doing, Mr. Smith?" Robin asked, shaking a hand with the man as he extended it to the former."With our product reaching a level up, I can't be any more excited." Mr. Smith replied, producing a roaring laughter from his throat. "And I guess you and Miss Jones have the same level of excitement as me!" Added Mr. Smith, eyeing a silently standing Kiara beside Robin. He added another unnecessary belly laugh while looking at Kiara that way. With his open mouth guffawing, his stomach shook like a rubber head on a spring and the scene gave Kiara more, full of detestation, a sickening feeling in her mouth.Although it was the same way, he used to cackle every time, she just couldn't erase the image

Mr. Smith's laboratory:-Kiara's POV:-"See, this will be the instant topical effect when this particular formulation is applied on our skin," Gaby said, applying the cream to the back of her palm. She held it up for us to see clearly. We saw, in the next few seconds, her skin brightened a tone higher and the product left a fresh dewy effect on her hand."That's quite some instant result, Gaby!" I took the glass bottle in my hand, looking at the cream inside it.The creamy formulation was white, which was again pure components as no artificial dyes or coloring has been used in it. Surprisingly, despite being in cream form, the texture was super smooth when I dipped my little finger in it and then rubbed it on my tips.I can't believe it was the sample that has passed just one trial yet. If this is the texture in the first trial itself, I wonder how surprisingly smooth and rich it will be in the final sampling."Indeed. This is the quality of our main ingredient. How long more would you keep it a secret?” Her eyes wrinkled at the corners while her nose flared in annoyance. Her anger didn’t seem to affect Viaan a bit as the man chuckled loudly. “As I said, it is a surprise, Maa. His smile dropped into a thin line. Immediately, he averted his eyes away from them and looked everywhere around. How come Ryan observed that? Didn’t he and his lawyer want time?” The question triggered his mind, he inquired in a disbelieving tone. The frown went deeper on his face; his eyeballs moving constantly as he tried to figure out Viaan’s step. One thing was crystal clear neither Viaan nor his lawyer saw this proposal as a simple invitation to get rid of legal troubles. Hence it was very much acceptable for his rival to seek time to agree or even deny. That’s why, even when this frustrated Hunter, he was ready for any secret investigation Viaan did on him. But little did he expect, that his acceptance would come this early and fast.He heard Daniel huffing from the other end and came out of his thoughts. “I have no idea, Sir.
