"Respected people," he began, his voice resonating with a mixture of hatred and anguish, "my name is Thomas Jones, and I stand here tonight to expose the truth about Viaan Adams, a man who hides behind his success while perpetrating heinous acts. The man who is sitting here pridefully is actually an abuser-a molester." His menacing tone made everyone gasp in the hall. He glared at Viaan and ground his teeth. His words hung in the air, piercing through the atmosphere with their gravity. Gasps filled the hall, each individual reeling from the shocking revelation. However, while the two couldn’t help but get shocked and tense, there was someone in the dim light of the hall, smirking at the success of his plan. Hunter picked up the glass of water in front of him and sipped it deliberately to hide the protruding smirk. He still needs to act shocked. Keeping his eyes on the table and getting benefitted from the dimmed light around his table, he let out a small smirk before pulling in a poker expression once again.Hunter kept the glass down and leaned on the back of the chair, crossing his hands on his chest. His dark eyes were fixated on the stage.Meanwhile, Alex, who was in shock like everybody else, was noticing his boss's expression. He frowned at the ease Hunter sat with. The Grand Empire Hall:-"I'm sure the department would have provided you with a hard copy as well. Why aren't you showing them?" Mr. Murphy grumbled, his frustration evident as he confronted Thomas about his lack of supporting evidence. His voice only got stricter seeing Thomas getting uncomfortable at his question. As Mr. Murphy threw a questioning glance at Viaan, he was taken aback by the silent composure on his face. It was a disconcerting sight, leaving Mr. Murphy puzzled. The profound calmness emanating from Viaan could only mean one of two things: either he possessed concrete evidence to refute the allegations and was confident in his defense, or he was utterly defenseless, validating Thomas's claims.Uncertainty clouded Mr. Murphy's thoughts as he grappled with the possible scenarios. Of the two scenarios, Mr. Murphy fervently hoped for the former, as it was inconceivable for a respected business tycoon like Viaan Adams to be involved in such misconduct. His train of thought w

“Ladies and gentlemen, we are deeply sorry for the inconvenience caused abruptly, but the event needs to be paused for some time. With some claims as big as this incident, it is now a question of not only Mr. Adams’s reputation but it is directly associated with the organization’s prestige, too. Hence, we need to check the authenticity of the documents produced before us. So, I would request and appreciate your patience for some time.”“It’s all finished, Leo!” Viaan murmured, leaving a defeated sigh. His shoulders slumped in defeat. His eyes dimmed at the possibility of not being able to counter the claims now. They had their eyes fixated on the Chief of the organization who just ordered the volume of microphones to be put off. He also ordered staff to ask the media to stop live coverage for the sake of privacy, as it already had been too humiliating for the organization till now. The lights of the stage dimmed as Mr. Murphy walked off stage with Ricky and Thomas.Feeling a heavy kn
