Hotel visit

Jerry sat with me in the passenger seat and asked her driver to drive the car. I looked at the bright sky in awe. Because it is now morning, all stores have started to open. To get to work on time, people were racing behind taxis and buses. Children were rushing to get to school.

Wow, working life is so different from my life. After making breakfast and bidding Aron goodbye in the morning, I did nothing. I didn't work after Aron left the house; instead, I watched kdrama and cartoons. I started contrasting my life with theirs.

I had the impression that while the outside world was racing like a rabbit, I was living my life at the pace of a turtle. I had always dreamt of holding an important position in a business office, but circumstances prevented me from finishing my education. My mother had to quit her job as a housemaid due to cardiac issues.
