Chapter 35.NO EMOTION

(Freya's POV)

While in the car, I just kept quiet. Every now and then, I'd pick up the conversation between Henry, Violet, and Hazel. My mood became very messy after meeting Ash and Stella. Especially with Ash's cold attitude when he just kept quiet when he saw me being slapped by Stella.

What did I expect from a man who hated me all his life? He was just playing me and would rather see me suffer than be happy. So I should have ignored him and not cared about Ash or Stella. Because now I have people who love and care for them, as well as my daughters. So I don't need anything else.
