Chapter 188: The Secret About the Child

In the afternoon, when Elaine returned home, she found everyone gathered around, looking at something that seemed to bring them great joy. Sylvia waved at her eagerly, "Elaine, come take a look. This is my nephew's first ultrasound picture."

Today, Mason had accompanied Renee to the hospital for a prenatal checkup and had taken a picture of the baby during the ultrasound. It was a tiny embryo, not very clear yet, but the whole family was examining it closely.

Initially, this should have been a joyful occasion. Elaine also wanted to see the picture, but suddenly, unpleasant memories flooded back, and her expression changed. She stood up abruptly and hurriedly went upstairs.
