Chapter 163: Quarrel

Aaron returned home and didn't see Elaine, so he took out his phone and called her. The call was quickly answered. "What's wrong?" Hearing Elaine's voice on the other end of the phone, he felt relieved and asked, "Where are you?"

"In the afternoon, Luke took me to the old mansion, but I'm coming back soon," Elaine replied.

Aaron saw that she was back and walked over to embrace her. "I need to talk to you." Although he didn't know what Grandfather and Elaine had discussed, he felt it was essential to explain things clearly to her to avoid any misunderstandings about his intentions regarding the shares.

Elaine could guess a bit about the shares issue. If Grandfather hadn't brought it up, she wouldn't have known about it. Her father had never mentioned it to her either. As for Aaron, she looked at him and assumed he was also unaware.

"Grandfather definitely mentioned the shares to you. I want to make my position clear. Since that 10% of the shares belongs to your family, I won't take it.
