Chapter 125: Apologizing to Her

Elaine could clearly sense that Sylvia was intentionally killing time. First, they spent nearly two hours dining. After dinner, Sylvia dragged her shopping, from the women's section to the men's section, and finally into a supermarket. Elaine's legs felt like jelly after all that walking. Sylvia, on the other hand, was still brimming with enthusiasm, or perhaps overexcitement.

"Aren't you tired?" After they had roamed around the entire supermarket several times and their shopping cart remained empty, Elaine finally had enough and asked, "Are you sure you want to buy anything?"

"Yes!" Sylvia responded enthusiastically, dragging her around the supermarket once more.

After waiting in line, they finished their shopping and it was already past ten. Elaine thought it was time to head home, but Sylvia suggested, "Since I have the day off tomorrow, how about we go singing?"
