The kidnap

The grand piano playing in the room was a thrill I loved and cherished every moment. I looked at my phone and I was glad to know that Alex had been set free, just as I had demanded and all I did was await his presence.

I waited for Alex in the dimly lit room,my hands fidgeting as I sat uneasily. It was time for us to get together, and I needed to tell him something important. Alex's massive stature filled the room as the door opened, his penetrating eyes sweeping the space before focusing on me.

"Lisa ," He called in a hard, deep voice. "What's so urgent?" With my heart pounding, I inhaled deeply.

"Ayla has returned." Alex’s jaw tightened as his face grew serious. "What do you mean she's back?" I leaned forward, speaking hardly audibly. "She's returned to the island, and she's determined to win Jaxon back." Alex squinted his eyes. "That is not possible. Jaxon is never going to return to her."
