"Why did you hide it from me? Kevin," Old madam burst into crying. 

"Because I was too weak to face my enemies." His answer left her in an ocean of pain. She sobbed with a broken heart. This child found out that she hid it well. She felt bitter.

She didn't do it for her; she did it because she wanted to save his life. She had no choice, but she didn't regret it at all; if she had to choose all over again, she would do it once again.

"Since you knew it, why didn't you ask me before today? Were you going to hide it all your life if I didn't ask you? 

Old madam Allen always saw him with open eyes; she always thought Kevin was a carefree child; he was always like this, that's why she never doubted him.
