Asher mumbled some incoherent words to himself. "Ray, I need you to do something for me." He checked through his tablet.

"What would that be sir?" Ray asked, ready to write down whatever his boss wants to say.

"Do you perhaps know those who are to supply woods to the furniture company we hired?"

"Yes sir. We recommend our choice to them. Why do you ask?"

"I need you to prevent them from delivering the woods to the company."

Ray looked up from his notepad with a confused look on his face. "Why sir?"

Asher arched his brows. "Are you questioning my authority now?"

"It's not that sir, but the woods are meant to be delivered to the furniture company since we are almost rounding up on the building. They need to be ready a month before the general opening sir."

"Ray, Ray, you worry too much. Let me handle this just do as you are told."

"Sir, I don’t think it’s a good idea to have the job delayed." Ray pushed further.

Asher shot him a stern look that made him cower.
