Encounter with a stranger II

“Am so sorry” Carol apologized, offering a hand to clean up his shirt. He slaps her hands off him. Ordering Elina to step forward. Carol rushed to Elina, pushing her towards the stranger.

“I want her fired now!”

Who the hell was he, to order her to get fired. Because he wore fancy designers jean and T-shirt. Just who the hell is the good looking imbecile. Because she has no idea who he was.

“I really am sorry. For everything.” Carol pleads, while sending daggers stares her way, she knew she had to deal with Carol when he’s gone. She might as well, burn her alive or have her thrown out throw the window.

She bows slightly and kick Elina by the knee to do same, which she reluctantly did.

“Am gonna closes down this hellhole. Dang it!” He yelled

What’s wrong with this pompous jerk. Elina hissed throw her teeth.

“Am so pissed right now. And you..” He point at Elina. “..clumsy monkey. I’ll make you pay for this humiliation. What the hell is all this.”

He definitely an attention seeker. Elina concluded. So he could more followers on socials. What’s he gonna do next, pulled off his shirt and throw it at her.

And that was exactly what he did next.

Elina shook her disapprovingly. She was right about her.

Tsk tsk tsk.

Taking off his shirt, he hurled it at Elina. But before it could get to her. Someone caught it in the air.

“Who are you? Her knight in shining armor?” He mocked.

“Do you know who you’re messing with am gonna deal with her....”

“Are you sure about that part, you said you’re gonna deal with her, is it you or your brother.”

He held ray but the collar.

“Watch your tongue. Dog.”

“Else what, you call daddy over.”

“Shut your fucking mouth!”

He throws a punch but Ray was able to avoid it, moving his head to the side. So he punched the air.

“I know you. Silas. You’re warn!”  Raymond drew his hands away from his collar and fix his shirt.

He shoved Ray aside. “Be careful.”

“That applies to you too.”

With a last glare, he walked out of the diner. Elina heaved a sigh as he left and turn to Carol.

“You little brat. Always getting me into trouble. You just wanna ruin me, don’t you.   It’s not gonna work. I won’t let you ruin. I’ll ruin you first!” She angrily marched down to her office and slammed the door pretty hard.

“Are you okay El.”

He held her shoulders, scrutinizing her body with his eyes, if there was any new injury or scratches.

“That was Ethan Brennon. You know the Brennon family don’t you, heard about that at least. He’s..”

“You shouldn’t have done that. I told you to stay out of things like this. Stop getting yourself involved in my mess. It’s my mess. Let me handle it. Stop doing that please!” She yelled.

Elina hardly yells if she do yells, it only means she’s hurt.

“I couldn’t just stand still and watch him do that to you.”

“What if he does something bad to you, hurt you or something. He knows you Ray.”

“I can take care of Ethan”

“How? He’s rich, the Brennon family basically owns this town, they rule with money. How are you gonna fight someone like that, when you’re just as poor as I’m “

He probably knew Ray through parties, clubs, there’s no party in town he doesn’t attend, he was popular. Maybe that’s where they might have met.

“How can you deal with someone like that!”

“Am sorry okay “

He tried pulling her into a hug, but she backed out. Returning to the counter.

“Come on El. Am sorry “

She came back and took her key from his hands, that was what he came to give her anyway.

“Just go Ray. I need to work.”

“El...” he called but she didn’t turn to look at him. What will she do if he gets hurt. If Ethan do something to him, she won’t forgive herself if he ends up getting hurt because of her.

Ethan drove in angrily, into the magnificent mansion, gigantic and flawless, speaking mainly of wealth. There was a fountain at far end of the house, A garden at the other side holding beautiful daisies, daffodils, sunflower and roses. Though it’s was well built with gold. Yet the house was lonely. Like no one lives here. There was on guard in sight, no servant. If he hadn’t been there before he won’t dare step his foot in here.

Jumping out of the car, he hurried to the front door made of gold. And knock. Very fast and accurate. A code. He didn’t knock or touched the door again.

He waited. Seconds later the door opened. With Aziel the most trusted guard standing by the door.

“Is he in?”

“Yes. He’s doesn’t want to be disturbed.”

“Every single time, he doesn’t want to be disturb, tell him am here, am gonna disturb him a little and go home.”

“He won’t like that, he just returned from a meeting. And he’s resting.”

“Ne’er mind I’ll do it myself.” But his feet won’t move from the spot.

“Just tell him am here.” His voice was a bit pleading. Aziel nodded and walked upstairs.

He paced around the room, waiting for a reply from Aziel, but he wasn’t coming forth, maybe he should go himself, no that’s a bad idea. He would wait.

Not quite long. Aziel came down to meet him.

“He’s coming.”

And he looked up and saw him climbing down the stairs, his skin was like gold, glittering, his perfectly curved face shines like diamond, sometime he asked if this he was actually his brother. His handsomeness was beyond him. He hardly shows himself in camera. Hate flash light from cameras or car light. He hated light. He still hadn’t known why, no one had told him yet. Climbing in his uniqueness. He was a perfect being without flaws.
