ROMAN

Me and Xavier sat on the terrace of a chic café, the afternoon sun casting a warm glow over the bustling streets below.

I was dressed in a casual outfit, stirred his coffee absentmindedly, a furrow in his brow. Xavier, ever observant, noticed the tension in my posture and decided to probe gently.

Xavier began, his tone light but concerned.

"Everything okay with Genevieve? You seem a bit off."

I sighed heavily and shook his head, his eyes reflecting a mixture of frustration and sadness.

"Not really, Xav. We had an argument this morning, right after spending the night together."

Xavier's eyebrows shot up in surprise.

"What happened? I thought things were going well between you two. You two were on the same page ? "

I leaned back in his chair, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Yeah, I thought so too. Last night was incredible, but this morning... it all fell apart. We started talking about the future, and things got heated."

Xavier nodded, encouraging Roman to continue.
